- I want to show everyone what I use to ship and mail my comic books. Here is a step by step process to how I package up my comics, and other tips and tricks I use to make sure my books (both graded and raw) are shipped with care and safety.
What do you all use? What do you like?

Good video for people starting out. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Glad to see someone else taking the appropriate care with their packaging. I also use Gemini mailers, and thanks for the reminder about "tabbing" the tape. That's one of my biggest complaints with ebay purchases. Too many sellers try to cut corners, or go overboard with the tape and create situations where there is risk of damaging the books trying to remove the tape.
I hear ya. Tabs save so much stress with opening your packages.
When closing a Gemini mailer, I always have the smaller flap lay on top of the larger one. I then use a long piece of tape that goes across the entire front of the mailer width-wise where both tape ends are on the back of the mailer. This keeps the sides tucked in nicely. I then use a very long piece of tape that goes around the entire mailer length-wise that tapes down the entirety of the small flap and also holds the the excess cardboard on the ends of mailer together.
I also place all of the comics inside one larger bag, but then I use two, evenly cut pieces of cardboard to surround the comics and tape those together so that I’m not taping the comics directly to the mailer. This adds more strength to the package and makes it much less susceptible to damage.
These are just the methods I use. I don’t mind if other people do it differently as long as the comics that are shipped to me arrive safely.
Thanks for sharing your tips!
Hey, I saw a video of someone packing a comic into a Gemini. I had to tell him that he needed to watch this video to learn how to do it right lol!

I made this for those folks! I try to pack my books with care. The mail is cruel these days
How do I ship a marvel treasury edition book?
Usps priority box 1095 is a great mailer size. It’s 15x13x3. You’d just need to build your own Gemini mailer for them.
What the heck is a "legal" flat rate package??
It’s priority mail and a legal paper size. It holds Gemini mailers soo well!
