Nice video, I will use most of your ideas. One question for run and gun, is there a good way to set object tracking without having to touch the screen. I'm looking for something like you can do in photo mode where you half press the shutter button to lock to an object. I am using RX110m7.
Hey thanks for watching. The autofocus should already automatically do that when you half press the shutter it will track whatever is in the chosen focus area. If face/eye priority is on it will lock onto a persons face.

previous versions had the Mp4 option in file format menu, is it possible to have it in this VI?
The files are default Mp4

Just purchased a RX100M6, was shooting randomly until it got froze. Lens not going back and power button not working. Is this normal? I googled it and found out people having same problems.
No that's not normal. Return it and have them send you a new one.

Hey Mike, thanks for checking out the playlist. I'm not sure if I'll upgrade for the mic port. I think it's a great add, along with the unlimted 4K recording. However, I'm also pretty sure that the A7Siii comes out I'll be getting that camera, so I may just stay with the VI for now.
I'm having trouble figuring out how to zoom on my rx100. If I'm in movie mode it won't zoom, which is where I have my manual setting. It only zooms in auto mode during video. What am I missing?
Are you referring to zooming with the zoom ring?

Does it have a Cine4 profile?
Kudou-Shin Pan no Cine4. There’s Cine1 and Cine2. As well as all the other profiles like slog, hlg etc.
I just got a M7 all very new and confusing coming from canon
It may take a while, but you'll find your way around.
