@@Damocles-zp1zp yes he reforged it and then was slain by the weapon fulgrim forged for ferrus. IIRC Fulgrim then took the reforged sword. But he also should still have the slaanesh sword he found in the temple
I know a primarch that shouldn't return - If Konrad Curze were to come back, Night Lords players would riot. His story arc came to a satisfying conclusion with his (assumed) death and that should not be undone. For actual wishes, I really want a knight-sized Perturabo mini.
Kurz valued vindication over survival. He did not care what happened to the Night Lords after he was killed by the imperium that made him. An imperium that now suffers at the terror they once endorsed and they learn nothing of this war. Now imagine the story arch of him being robbed of that vindication and character growth of being proven that he was wrong. Soul Hunter’s visions weren’t reliable, imagine seeing kurze realize the same and his death 10k years ago was his own doing along with all his actions. “It was a curse to be a god’s son. To see as a god saw, to knew what a god knew. This sight, this knowledge, tore him apart time and time again.”
The sword is the one that Ferrus Manus gave Fulgrim when they were best friends forever. Fulgrim has spent the last 10,000 years on a pleasure planet in the eye of terror, having Ferrus Manus cloned again and again, each time trying to corrupt Ferrus to Chaos, but each time Ferrus rejects him, and Fulgrim kills him. I agree that Fulgrim's cloaca doesn't look right; it looks like a cloaca.
Sanguinius is in fact still around in the Warp. He's talked to poor old Dante. Personal headcanon for me and my buddies is that whenever GW jumps that particular shark, they'll have the Sanguinor, Dante and Mephiston perform a fusion dance to recreate Sanguinius from the Gold, Red and Black angels.
I think Dante and Me;phiston are way too popular characters for them to just yeetus deleetus like that. Unless they do some kind of ritual that leaves them almost dead and drained of blood to create Sanguinius reborn. I am expecting Dorn & Russ as the other 2 primarchs to come back. Then you have The Strategist, the Knight, the Berserker, and the Fortress.
Also it wasn't sanguinius, tge figure cane to mephiston and blankly stated they were not sanguinius. It's most likely tznetch, unless they are pulling a whole "I'm not sanguinius as he was murdered I am what remains" kind of thing, which is feasible
Considering the proximity and timing, Sanguinius chilling with big E as an ethereal entity awaiting a rebirth as a new beacon of light for the Imperium is at least believable. Some of the other though? They're better off staying dead.
Alpharius is properly dead. Dorn did him in. They got rid of the evidence and covered it up. Omegon is most assuredly alive, however. I'm still upset that they didn't take the opportunity to connect Omegon vs Guilliman to the Primaris project, though. We know that Alpharius/Omegon spoiled the Raptor project for Corax and stole the Primarch gene-tech... while only giving Horus/Fabius the spoiled material. That plotline ended with the idea of the Alpha Legion becoming truly Legion... and then just evaporated. Handing Guilliman the tech would've enabled the Primaris project so very neatly, particularly because there's been plenty of material heavily implying that Omegon was a loyalist to the end. ....also, Sanguinius returning would be the end of me caring about anything in 40k, because it'd mean nothing is sacred, nothing has real consequences.
In lore, Fulgrim became self centered so he should have remained beautiful. Slaanesh is all about the extreme so EC are not just ugly for ugly sake. They became hideous for seeking the extremes and some still maintain their beauty as part of their obsession.
Jay you need to read the Fabius Bile series, it tells of what’s going to happen with the return of Fulgrim and the Emperors children, it’s a really great read, and honestly it’s made Fabius Bile one of my all time favorite characters of 40k, in this series I was surprised on how much Fulgrim is closer to being a more noble character than the Emperor when it comes to the putting humanity on top no matter the cost. In a personal note I have cancer and I can relate the struggles he goes through having so much work to finish and so little time even with his attempts at cloning himself to keep his work going still not enough time (almost like my miniature backlog) lol SPOILERS !!!!! at the end of the series it tells what the next big plan chaos has and it definitely will involve Fulgrim and Abbadon and possibly…chaos Primaris
I think White Scars could be soon as Drukhari need a pretty large refresh which tends to be saved for the beginning of edition box and the White Scars have an established relationship with them. Even if they added two new kits for the Scars (The Khan and something else) the box would still be a good add for most marine players as almost all models would still be generic space marines. From a character aspect if he does return I hope he is an old man bent but not broken by the tortures of the Drukhari. Almost no fighting spirit left when he first returns. Even if Jag’Hatai keeps his form in the arenas of Commoragh he’d be a very different person mentally. His wisdom and mental acumen were already his defining personality traits and 10,000 years of thinking and dreading with only the untrustworthy information of the Drukhari would do interesting things the writers could run with.
I'm happy to see a plain base! I /hate/ when GW makes tactical rocks or other scenery because they usually are part of the mini which makes it a pain to base it your own way.

An example could be some weirdo in artificer armour painted white that could be a sergeant in some games, or an intercessor in another. Just a bunch of characters that aren't character models that you can pick and choose to use in a game at your leisure
Fulgrim having a dreadnought base would've been the play. They could've used a Primaris one, but it would've been a callback to his showdown with Rylanor for all the lore nerds. As far as the power sword: that's gotta be from the Grey Knight that fell to Slaanesh, right?

iirc the sword of the laer was given to lucius, so fulgrim doesnt have it anymore. the plain blade should be fireblade, given to him by ferrus manus in return for forgebreaker, the warhammer fulgrim made for ferrus
I think it would be really funny if Vulcan came back somehow, happy to see his brothers again... but then he spoke to Guilliman... "You and the elf are WHAT?!" 😂
I really don't know how I feel about the Fulgrim model.. It's cool that he's now in 40k.. But there are some things that just don't look good, like the wings look extremely generic compared to the resin design and the face doesn't really make me think of Fulgrim when I look at it? Idk, there's probably going to be quite a lot of kitbashing occurring when it's sent out.
22:35 to be fair Guilleman and the Loin literally were maintained exactly as they were to 10,000 years. The one who’ve been active for the time period should be more interesting in terms of character development

I think his paint job lets him down. But the model looks very fun
Hmm maybe another army for my collection
iirc the sword of the laer was given to lucius, so fulgrim doesnt have it anymore. the plain blade should be fireblade, given to him by ferrus manus in return for forgebreaker, the warhammer fulgrim made for ferrus
I think it would be really funny if Vulcan came back somehow, happy to see his brothers again... but then he spoke to Guilliman... "You and the elf are WHAT?!" 😂
What a model hmmm do I turn to chaos now 🥲
I really don't know how I feel about the Fulgrim model..
Just got new guys
22:35 to be fair Guilleman and the Loin literally were maintained exactly as they were to 10,000 years. The one who’ve been active for the time period should be more interesting in terms of character development
5am uploads ftw.
Nice demon primarch.
As an iron warrior guy, id rather have perturabo. But im sure he'll come one day.
What is the red u used on the baby brechts fist its so nice
I wonder if we have the layer blade, the sword from Ferrus, and the last Cronesword?
You can always add rylanor as the corpse thats in fulgrims coiled tail. :0
I would like to see the loyalist Fulgrim clone come back and aid the imperium against demon fulgrim and the new EC
