  • Florida has more invasive species than anywhere else, and tonight we are showing one of the more interesting and beautiful ones! The veiled chameleon! Chameleons were introduced into Florida through the pet trade and now have established populations throughout the state.

You guys are awesome! I found your channel by accident and now watching your Wildlife videos has caught my interest. I'm not even into Wildlife like that (City girl 100%) but this is strangely helping my Quarantine through these times right now. It's very fascinating.
Be safe out there you two! And thanks for helping me learn new things about wildlife.

What they have on their back legs are called spurs also the casque on the males are more pronounced. I actually breed them at home. Im glad you guys are bringing awareness about these guys. Im actually worried that they will change the laws on the chameleons also. Keep up the good work and love the videos

    You guys are awesome!!!!!
I live in the Redlands (west of Homestead).
We have 12 acres of Fruit trees and other vegetation. In this small area I have caught just about every invasive and non invasive creature you can name!!!
We also have captured (in our security camaras) Florida Panthers, black bears, Coyotes, deer, bob cats, and even the elusive and hairy “big foot” of South Fla.
Those little guys you caught on this video are everywhere out here. So are the Bernese pythons and the Tegu.
Our guy “Many” has been on our property a few times in the past to catch these wild Tegus.
We have huge dogs that guard our property and protect our horses and goats from Coyotes and panthers at night. These dogs are “Presa Canarios” that we had imported from a breeder in Spain. They weigh in at a massive 140-160 pounds of lethal K-9 power but… the 6-8lb. Tegu does not fear my dogs and I’ve witnessed on occasions that the Tegu have charged my dogs in attack and actually died in a so called “gladiator match” only to prove that size and power is nothing to them!!!!
I have videos but am afraid to post on Utube due to the graphic nature and how my dogs eat the remains.
Btw, the Bigfoot sightings is of my dad out in the back walking around at night without a shirt and all you see is his hairy back and pepper colored beard.🤣😂
    Have fun guys🤙🏼💪🏼
Hope to see more of you videos.

Here in Germany panther chameleons are way cheaper (the prices for the male can go a lot higher though depending on the local form) I have/had three panthers so far and they are my everything. Oh, and I love the way Gabby looks at the chameleons. Pure love in her eyes

Depends where you are relocating too. If you want a few acres you should be fine anywhere as long as you avoid Florida city (just passed homestead) or stick to Redlands, Gould’s area. Again only if you want a larger piece of land. I would avoid Gould’s for a normal sized home/lot. Homestead has changed in the last few years. Prices have increased a lot in the last 24 months.
