Yeah, No More Tears was such an odd random selection for Ozzy. It's an OK song, but it's a slowish track, not anything even close to an anthem that's supposed to be up tempo. Crazy Train, Bark At The Moon, or even Miracle Man would have been a better pick.

I like watchmojo but this list is a great example of people who don't know metal that are trying to do metal things.
As a metalhead who generally listens to any metal music my faith for the future of these wonderful genres are diminishing reading all those ignorant comments stating that "some bands are not metal" etc. If you keep on like that you'll end up no better than those saying metal is just screaming and bad noise. Shame on you.

One person might like steak and someone else likes burgers, just because a burger might not be as high quality meat as steak doesnt make it fake beef now does it?

Marvin Hell. No. Hands down one of the best songs ever made. It might not be as technical as other modern metal songs but at their time, that was one of the fastest, greatest, most impressive songs ever made. That was the case with Black Sabbath too. Puppets is and forever will be a musical masterpiece. The structure, the lyrics, everything is perfect.

Du Hast is a pretty gnarly song, but I feel like it's more rock than metal though, Rammstein has some industrial metal and some hard rock, they're like at the border of the 2 if you ask me

Oh, none of my favorite bands got displaced. I just don't like Disturbed. The man screams like a monkey in all of his songs. Who cares if they're popular. Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne, and Justin Beiber are popular, but they're shit too. The point of my comment wasn't that Disturbed was bad. It was that Sabbath deserves all of these numbers 1's.

Well there's really no for sure track that they could have used as an "anthem". Unholy Confessions is relatively underground where as Nightmare is fairly mainstream. More people have heard of them because of Nightmare than any other song. That's what introduced me to them and because of that I'm a die hard fan of the band. Always will be. Bat Country is still a great song, but Nightmare belongs on the list
Personally I prefer Beast and the Harlot... but yeah, Nightmare and Bat country are more popular.

Iron Maiden - Fear of the Dark - Every metalhead needs to see this live... Just amazing when the crowd sings.
Metallica - Master of Puppets - If you don't scream "Master, Master!!!" At a live show then you are there by accident.
Megadeth - Holy Wars - Pure thrash and a killer solo
Judas Priest - Painkiller - Rob takes it to a higher level on the vocals
Slayer - Raining Blood - Those 3 first hits and you just know...
Testament - The Preacher- Starts with unmistakable guitars and just goes thrash.
Sepultura - Roots Bloody Roots - Another one to scream out the chorus.

Fear of the dark is the best anthem for Maiden. The crowd participation makes it the best.

I have to say that I think Killing in the Name Of -Rage has to be considered for this list. It isn’t my favorite, but it is a call and response audience track that everyone gets hyped up singing. Also, I love War Pigs, but Iron Man is the Sabbath anthem

I think Iron Maiden was a good choice, but I totally think Aces High or The Trooper would've ben far better choices that Number of the Beast. Peace Sells was perfect for Megadeth, as was Seek & Destroy for Metallica.
Also, Sabbath at #1 was 100% on point. There are many songs you could plug in for their contribution, but War Pigs was definitely the best choice. No matter where you play that song in in a bar, or whatever, a bunch of people will yell, "OH LORD YES!"
