Narset parter of veils can also be amazing. Even if you don’t wheel with her (which means an auto win most of the time) she still shuts down a lot of really strong cards. Her -2 also lets you dig for combos/interaction.

I saw it the moment they revealed the card. For the cost of Beast Within (at sorcery speed), you have the same effect... as repeatable removal. The fact that he gets fatter as things progress is what makes it so nasty because he is almost always a 2 for one when you play him.
Oko & Narset are on the salt list. Usually when you slap these on the table, they’re getting killed on sight. They’re definitely powerful but also put a target on your back if thats your playstyle.
@@sethkappaccilli9509 Oko turns off any threatning ability & commanders and they’re whole strategy revolves around them sometimes so it can be difficult to play around sometimes depending on which deck it is. If the person playing Oko has blockers then its really hard to get damage thru with a bunch of 3/3 elks man 🤣
He is problematic. There is a reason he doesn’t see play in CEDH offtenly. He basically makes you responsible for everything what will happen at instant speed. And can easily win a game for an opponent if played incorrectly. Please don’t forget what this is a multiplayer format.
Lord Windgrace is an absolute VALUE HOUSE. Had a friend with a Windgrace deck that went crazy saccing lands and bringing them back with Windgrace and Worldshaper, generating insane mana and drawing scores of cards.
Surprised Teferi Master of Time wasn't number 1. Is a must deal with threat due to his ultimate and any synergies with looting just make him absurdly good.
Just so you know if you are able to get Dak Fayden's emblem you can steal all creatures for one mana total and your opponents can only stop it from happening if the creatures are already un-targetable before you cast the spell because if it hits the stack and is able to target the creature it doesn't matter if they counter it or make the creatures untargetable after or in response it will still trigger the emblem.
Not top 5 but I like the Dakkon Planeswalker, the one that enters with loyalty based on your lands, +1 surveil 2, -3 exile target creature, -6 put an artifact from your hand or graveyard into play, it’s starting to feel like a pet card cause I never see it.
It's very good, but the color restriction makes it niche, and the starting loyalty is inconsistent. Thus undervalued. How many three-color walkers do you see ever?

Except, for most decks, the first thing you cut out is the planeswalkers. They take time to set up and easily get beaten out of the game. Unless its super-friends or your commander, they gotta go 9/10

@@dustfinger_until_dawn in standard/modern etc sure. In commander Oko is actually a rather low-medium power threat, mostly because it can only target one permanent at a time. It’s more like sorcery speed non destruction removal with the opportunity to gain more value over time if it survives, which is not guaranteed at all. It has an advantage in this regard, because it is comparatively somewhat innocuous vs. the typical things being played at your higher power table, so it might not immediately be destroyed. The extra 2 players make the difference between it being a powerhouse control piece and non-destruction sorcery speed removal.
I mean i see your point but even if you only get him for one turn, you can still turn a commander, if it's a creature, or the strongest artefact off, even if oko leaves so not like any other enchantments that do similar things
