I want to run this against the " It's not that competitive" players at the shop. They love bringing CEDH decks and saying " It normally opens up around turn 10"
Oooh yea i know a player who says oh its a power level 5 if it pops off... then in 3 or 4 turns its ahead in mana and infinite everything... kodama sakashima...
@@GenXchaos to be fair, I actually have decks that are only like a 7 or 8 but I open infinite combos. Like rin and seri, I've turn 3 infinite dogs before because I got a monster hand.
@@chrishusted9296 what combo? I’m building a rin and seri deck right now
@@skynocerous37 it's an expensive one since it requires a reserve list card but it's earthcraft+rin and seri+whitemane lion. Basically with earthcraft and commander on board you cast whitemane lion generating a dog, you choose to bounce whitemane itself off it's effect activating eathcraft in response to tap both whitemane and the new dog to untapped the 2 lands you use to cast whitemane, rinse and repeat until you have sufficient dogs to kill everyone.
Always have a meta buster deck. Run mass artifact removal and counterspells and never let them play.
Mitch finally snapped from playing against Simic so much.
You forgot Dingus Egg. 2 damage for each destroyed land, and it's 35 cents.
There's also a Dingus Staff....for creatures
Yeah, but it would deal damage to you as well in many instances... so you'd have to be careful.
Whenever I play edh with my adult kids, it's like an unspoken rule that dad is always the archenemy so HELL yeah I'm building this deck!!!
You should make a zur and hinata deck because they control the board with flexibility and can deal with multiple opponents
My 9 & 10 year old gang up on me in every game.
Right??? Thanks I thought I was losing my mind 😜
As the oldest sibling, I have the same situation with my brothers. It's archenemy primarily because I'm the agent of Chaos in our games.
Theres three cards that really would make the deck Mitch: Bramblecrush that is just great, mwonvuli acid-moss and, Shigeki, jukai visionary. With regrowth you can just keep getting your whole graveyard back over and over, meaning more land destruction and card draw.
Escape to the wilds is also crazy good.
I love this deck, would love to see a non-budget version and the cruelty it could bring
Not really that hard. Seems like it would just be better land base and faster mana rock's. There are not that many nonbudget land destruction cards
A non-budget if this is just an average Lord Windgrace deck. You get to add Jokulhaups, Obliterate, and the red Decree. Toss in a couple of cards like Splendid Reclamation, Crucible of Worlds, Ramunap Excavator, and World Shaper. You get to add tutors and such to find your MLD spells, etc.
@@valkan7148 Then that wouldn't be a non-budget version of this Svella, Ice Shaper deck but as you stated "just an average Lord Windgrace deck"
look at strip mine, encroaching wastes, wasteland. wasteland is a 25 dollar land and strip mine is a 15 dollar land. both are simply sac destroy land
zo-zu the punisher is a must have for a deck like this
Mitch my dude, who hurt you so badly that you made this thing? 😂😂😂
*Whispers* Add seedborn muse to this deck and you'll be miles ahead of your opponents 😂
Add ramunap excavator and strip mine to have even more fun.
Blood moon to ruin nonbasics they choose to keep
With Muse, gotta add Vedalken Orrery for that extra fun.
I'd suggest removing bend or break, the nature of the card allows your opponents to choose which opponent chooses the pile, so they will deal with each other to ensure they pick the piles with zero lands and you'll lose your biggest pile for being the land destruction player!
Even if they don't get any lands destroyed in the process they all become tapped, making it easier to do other stuff on your turn
@@Dragnonz3547 other stuff with your half and tapped lands? I guess there's an upside to every down no matter how hard the down is, there are a lot better alternatives though lol
the entire point of this deck is to have 3 mana from artifacts before land wiping on repeat. once you have 3 mana rocks you have an infinite source of mana from the commander so you will never suffer from your own cancer deck. just beware of the few very potent ways to completely screw artifact decks. and pray your opponents dont shut down artifacts before the game even begins
@neillaw what you recommend in place of "bend or break"?
@@SerialKillerzZ Anything else, obliterate, jokulhaups, even a non land destruction spell
One that simply allows your opponents to only make sure you are the player penalised is not worth having it at all
I just built this. It's great! I don't care about my opponents feelings during FNM.
I had a deck almost exactly like this back when I played, been thinking about getting back into the game so it's hilarious to see it again.
I wasn't a bad guy, I built it to make a point: Red is an absolute powerhouse of a color when built around, but it breaks the "spirit of the format" and that's why everyone says it's the worst color. That was the only time I played it, when someone was saying Red was terrible.
Noone says that now cause it has the card advantage necessary. White has issues in commander cause most people cant buy the good white card draw because mtg finance people are a holes.
About ~$31 at the time of my viewing, Incase anyone is curious in how much it rose
Imagine this deck against another one from this channel, "99 lands" one
Borborygmos!
How about instead of all these "lose your friends for cheap" decks we get some "make your friends love you for cheap" decks, like make a deck that can keep your friends alive FOREVER. Like if 2 of your friends start swinging at each other you step in to say "hey how about no damage this turn" or "maybe we just pick up all out toys and take a time out" basically dont let anyone die... ever... because you done want to see your friends go.... lol Something like "pillow forts for everyone"
So! I made a grouphug deck which had little to no wincon, and it was a lot like this, essentially speeding up the game with Tiro and Meletis while essentially pillow forting
Ive broken it up now but its surprisingly fun to play like that… On occasion anyway
Mono green fog deck
Cleric tribal gets to do that with battletide alchemist. Damage just ceases to exist
@@jonlibby7231 go bant, even better. less budget though
Lol yes
I kinda wanna have this deck in my back pocket just for that one guy who shows up to the LGS with a competitive deck trying to pubstomp.
Had a deck like this but worth the runemother was the commander. Being able to copy a stone rain was great.
Lol if this is all it takes to lose them, how much will it cost to get them back? 😂 (so I can do it again!)
how much does a happy meal cost nowadays?
@@dropkickpadawan1888 lol idk, I haven’t been to McDonald’s in over a decade. Can’t imagine it costs too much. But I think it would take more than a couple happy meals (contrary to its name) to earn them back 🤣
Don't worry, in just a year, McDonald's workers themselves won't be able to afford them :)
alternate between this deck and grouphug
$7.52.
For some more "fun", you should add a Jokulhaups :)
jokulhaups doesn't work well in this deck since it blows up your mana rocks.
I for one thing land destruction isn't as bad as people think it is... If anything if should be more widely used to counter green ramp.
I built a similar version using Narset as my Commander and Thousand-Year Storm to really clear the board.
You’re a bad person
sounds like a fun deck to roll into a game store you will never return to with.
There's also worldshaper, 3/3 and when it dies you return all lands from your graveyard to the battlefield. The only downside for this deeck is that when it attacks you mill three
Also depending on where you buy it gaea's blessing might be good for this decks, plus it's nice to not be millable
It’s fitting to have the mini Golos troll be built as a trolling LD deck outside of white.
I can't remember what the card is but I find it worse the land destcrtion but I think it's blue and let's you take all the lands a player controls... also if you want to be extra mean add splinter and a card like liquimetal coating
Love it
Please add list of cards (honorable mention) that should be add for not so budget deck. I really really want lose all my friends
Thank you
Strip mine, crucible of worlds, lannery storm, all immediately come to mind
It would be really fun to see a Relentless rats or even just a rats commander deck on your Channel
I immediately called that it's mass land destruction the second you revealed Svella after saying the deck does something "taboo" in Commander.
In the middle of watching the video right now. And looking at the deck so far old gnawbone and helkite tyrant would fit nicely with the creation of treasure tokens and the alternative wincon of 20+ Artifacts and you win at your upkeep..
What is the decks win condion? And perhaps as a non budget upgrade, arcane Bombardment?
So, I was going say how does the deck deal with Stony Silence, but unless it's in the opening hand, might not matter
The whole video I kept thinking, Crucible would be great here, and might as well toss in wasteland/strip mine/Ghost Quarter, but of course some of those cards themselves cost 2-3x the rest of the deck combined, lol
i thought about putting tsunami in my U/G merfolk deck along with the new blue moon, but then i realized i would blow up all non basics, and islands, so my entire manabase would be gone, and everybody at the table would still have some of theirs, and they would be very angry lol
I understand land destruction to get ahead in resources but how do you kill the opponents? Did I miss that part in the video?
That's the fun part
Waking the trolls
I have a svella deck that I play at low powered tables. You are gonna give it a bad rep, Mitch!
Best part about this deck? Having pieces to make it even better.
Yeah I added thrun the last troll and by force so I can target their powerful mana rocks as well
Rules were meant to be broken! I have nothing to loose because I have no friends!
I'm happy you made this joke but sad that you beat me to it.😂
Just priced the deck. At Starcity with shipping it’s $30. At TCG it’s 90 🤣💀 I text my buddy and told him this 2HG Commander tournament we’re gonna enter at the RCQ is gonna end up nasty. To bring 2 vests 🤣💀🤣💀🤣
Video was up for an hour and the price is up to 30 dollars with shipping. Lol
Ordered. I’ll try it out. Looks like fun
I dont't understand how is possible tonwin with this deck.pkease, can someone help me?
Who would win 99 land space baby or this one?
my go to lose your friends deck is grand arbiter Augustin 30 lands, 10 rocks, 30 counter spells, 20 draw spells, and 10 non land perment wipes.
Whats the wincon?
this deck at low cost says its 44$...
Making a legal tactics taboo seems silly. deck construction is paramount to the magic experience. yeah you might find yourself going out of your way to make a deck to counter a friends specific deck but so be it. magic is a battle of minds.
"HAHA! Great and fun deck, friend! Let's just kill him quick! :D"
haha. yup
had lot of fun with this style mixed with a drawing cards meta to make opponents sweat seeing their deck melt need a try with ciommander XD
I play things like this :) get the whole shop against me for awhile but they forgive ;) until I do it again... and again... and again
I looked at the website and it says $332.33 to buy the whole deck. Not even close to $12.
have the cards increased in price? coz from what i see here the price is wayyyy larger than $12
This is absolutely disgusting, and I love it. I regularly interact with simic decks in my play groups and I’ll be picking this up
I was going to make a joke about austere command blowing up the mana rocks but this deck is honestly to vile to warrant it. Anyone who runs a land destruction deck deserves anything bad that comes to them.
Add some Territorial Dispute to go with this Drownyard Temple
splendid reclamation could be used well
If you really wanna lose your friends, do what I did and build Alela, Artful Provocateur Stasis Stax. 😆
where do you get these prices Every time i see these they end up costing way more
I'm surprised you didn't include Decree of Annihilation in this deck, any reason why?
My friends don’t like my blue deck from you they won’t play if I pull it out lol. Let’s try this one now
keldon firebombers - everyone is left with 3 lands of their choice
also why not slap a winterorb in there ? or a mwonvuli acid moss
Last time I played tsunami my friends slammed the table and left to the living room to sit on his phone in silence for over an hour.
To answer the first question of the video, last time I played someone called me a baby for wanting to swing back at them after they hit me with a ulamog, with my ulamog.
Where the cat at?
I only clicked for the sassy cat.
Gonna go right next to the board wipe deck
So if I had a spare blood moon lying around I can slot in for those non-basics they top deck when it's not my turn...
How do you win if your opponent just has a few early game creatures on board? This deck has almost no board management nor any real board pressure
Flash fires, ruination, boiling seas, boil, deus of calamity, dwarves blastminer, dwarven miner, goblin gardener/settler, mine layer, rumbling crescendo, seismic mage, stingmoggie, and anarchy work well also. Man people who design magic cards have some “no friends growing up” energy don’t they…..
Really like the idea, but anyone has some suggestions on how to stay alive to get this combo rolling?
Myojin of Infinite Feel Bads better be hanging out here...
LOOKED TODAY AND THE TOTAL IN MY CART WAS 123.73.....DID I DO SOMETHING WRONG
I have a Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale.
#NeverHadFriends #WhatAreThose
Too bad the deck wasn't Jund - Destuctive Flow would have been a great addition.
I’d like to submit a complaint because this didn’t work. I tried it but my friends don’t play Magic.
It was 35.31 for me. Waiting till it gets here to see about the loose you're friends part😭
Played this against a guy who plays an omnath ramp deck, I'm pretty sure he wanted to punch me.
You better hope there's no mass artifact destruction.
Why do I want to lose my friends? I have a friend who loves to play hive mind with knowledge pool and puzzle box.
1:28 start
Fun fact: March of the Machines turns all the Manalith tokens into 0/0 Artifact creatures that immediately go to grave.
As soon as I seen the commander I knew where this was going
Cuales serian las mejoras de este mazo?
I built this deck as a entirely as a joke, I carry it around with a rubber band around it and in a ziploic bag as a deck box and ran it in my commander group raw (no sleeves) which is already making them raise thier eyebrows. And then just to ruthlessly destroy land in the meme troll deck is hilarious.
There was a kitty in the thumbnail
I have a play group with two people who use mill decks.
You guys recommend me making this deck just to be annoying to them since they want to mill? xD
I've been looking for a deck that just absolutely shits on someone. Not because I want to be a jerk. But because the only way to fight fire.... is with fire. You know what I mean :P
One question what's the win condition?
win con is the point at which you have only mana rocks and nobody else has land
Decks like this is why I subscribe :)
so table scoop must be the win con lol?
surprised you're not playing Wildest Dreams. only cost $.20 and works really well with all the mana you are generating.
When you go to buy this deck it says it's $1,100
Just double checking all these cards are legal right?
I have a playgroup that has one player who is always trying to humiliate everyone at the table with their overly competitive Commander decks. I am ready to show up with this deck and give them a taste of their own medicine!
Maybe a close quarters with these sort of decks could be fun/tragic? 😅
You probably don’t want to play bend and break because you don’t get to chose the pile that gets blown up, each person making a pile of lands will chose the player that choses the pile to blow up.
OK, but how are you supposed to close out the game? My playgroup will continue to play even if they have no lands.
Rude! Haha!
Also, for a couple more bucks, I like Keldon Firebombers and Praetor's Counsel for this deck
My play group won't know till it's to late
One of my friends likes to play decks of much higher power than our decks regardless of our complaints.....This is just revenge.
Link to list?
Surprised you didn't include splendid reclamation in here. Cheaper and quicker than mending of dominaria, it's like 30 cents, too.
Edit: I'm also not really seeing a wincon? I find that people tend to not have an issue with MLD if your wincon is solid. I see practically no wincon, so this deck probably won't even be fun to play with
Same here. I don’t have a problem with land destruction. But destroy lands and then ask me to please scoop because your only chance of winning is hitting me with your commander for 3 seven times is annoying
Does anyone have a deck list for this.
It's in the description
Love this deck😆👏👏 but good luck getting it for $12.
