We Are Touched By Type 1

For nearly two decades Dancing for Diabetes has been spreading awareness about Type 1, raising funds to find a cure and inspiring those with Type 1 diabetes to thrive. It really is incredible for me to take a step back and see how this organization started on my parents' driveway and has grown to what it is today all these years later - serving so many kids and adults with Type 1 diabetes.
Our organization’s incredible growth over the last ten years in particular has pushed us to challenge ourselves and reflect on how we can impact more people. To better identify with our community, to properly explain who we are and increase our reach - we are rebranding and becoming Touched By Type 1.
Rebranding will allow us to continue all of our current programs as well as expand and grow so that we may reach more people and change more lives. Under Touched by Type 1, all of our existing programs and initiatives will continue to grow: Bowl for a Cause, Annual Conference, Type 1 @ School, D-Box, Kids & Teens with Diabetes Dance Program, Dancing for Diabetes, along with all the monthly outreach events and much more we have yet to create.
We are ecstatic for this new journey - for rediscovering who we are and what we can accomplish for our global community.
