- In part 1 of a 2 part video series I talk you through installing a panhard bar in your SN95 Mustang. This video covers the benefits, removal of the shocks/springs, proper alignment, and body mount bracket installation.
Can't wait to pick this up. Still a bit away from this but hopefully by this time next year
As soon as I saw your reaction at :32 I subscribed 😭😭😭 great video !!!
“I need better seats!” TRUTH!!!!!!!
You could of just remove the sway bar from the beginning to make it better lol
ThanK you for this!
Great video. I installed the same kit on my fox body. What is the ax for ?
Lol it must have been on the bench after sharpening it. Just use it for splitting wood at campsites
I know you have to remove the driver side LCA pivot bolt to install the MM mount. Outside of that, is there really any reason to remove the LCA bolts and rear springs? I believe I can get the LCAs and axle level/parallel with the springs in. I have MM adjustable LCAs and H&R SS springs. Seems like extra work for no reason?
You seem to put a big emphasis on having the car level... I'll be using a set of quickjacks to raise the car but my garage floor is on a 2 degree incline. Any advice or words of wisdom based on these parameters?
So I think having the car evenly weighted is more key. I wouldn’t stress over the incline of your garage. It should be fine. Thanks for watching!
@@truckandroll989 I'm sure I'll have a better idea of how to approach this once I get started. All I know is that I cannot stand the lateral shift on the rear end currently lol.
How was exhaust clearance once installed?
It was extremely tight but it did clear without any rubbing while driving
@@truckandroll989 good to know, thanks!
These cars are limited enough on space with the cat backs. Didn’t want to have to ding up the pipe or run dumps off the mufflers like I’ve seen some do with the panhard bars. Car is sweet by the way
Hahaha... I couldn't help but laugh loudly when you got to step 14, I must have read that step 20 times as I was going through the instructions before I started. It's a doozy!
Are you going to put a T/A in? I have one but I don't weld, so I'm going to have it installed when a local shop welds in my subframe connectors and chassis bracing.
I did not. I tracked the car without it and enjoyed how it handled. Definitely predictable. In hindsight if you dont mind losing the airbag a new steering wheel would make a huge improvement I think. I have since sold the Cobra and been focusing on my Mach 1. Check out those videos if you get a chance
@@truckandroll989 I was just noticing your mach 1 now. Love the color on that car. Very nice.
I have contemplated a new wheel, but while my car is being built for the track I really love to drive it when I get the chance. I really don't want to get rid of the Cruise control.
Thought he was Aaron rogers for a second lol
I wish my Bank thought the same
More speed around the corners to test
most people have a 13/16 wrench and not a fisher price tool set. great video though!
I have a 13/16 open end i forget why I used that. I think i needed the length to rest against the floor so i could torque the fastener by myself. It would have been tough to hold the bolt from spinning and torque on my own.
@@truckandroll989 i really hate to work on my back. just busting your chops a little. did you do the torque arm?
