- This week on Coddiwomple Overland, we install and review our new Teraflex Nebo Roof Rack on our Jeep Wrangler JKU in preparation for installing a Rooftop tent and 270 degree awning from the great folks at Overland Vehicle Systems.

Very nice. Teraflex is a good company. I’ve got their 3” short arm lift, and couldn’t be happier with it. I’m also about to pull the trigger on their spare tire carrier. Excellent quality. OIIIIIIIO

@@CoddiwompleOverland took me a while to install but it's almost done....I can see the rear driver bolt from underneath the bracket (one of the four that bolts into the cage) but I can't get it to bolt into the sleeve. Any idea what might work? All else is good.

Just wanted to thank you again for taking the time to give some suggestions. I ended up drilling down through the main rail about 1/4 inch towards the front and the bolt went in (finally) easily. All the best to you.

Have you carried your kayak on this rack? I have two 12.5' kayaks and am curious how this would haul them.
I have not carried my kayak but I'm sure it wouldn't be any problem at all as it has a dynamic load rating of 200 pounds. I hope this helps
Can you give me a quick measurement (width) from center line of rack (at bolt) to center line? I have a custom roof top and want to k ow if I can make it work! Thanks a ton. Great vid!
From cl to edge of roof top I know it’s 43 15/16 to CL
If I understand correctly, it is 21 31/32 from the center line of the rack bolts to the center of the roof. I hope this helps!
@@CoddiwompleOverland I was needed a measurement to the edge of door on side to CL of bolt! Any idea?

I’ve had my Nebo rack on for about 2 years and has started to leak. Are you experiencing the same issue? Thanks!

@@CoddiwompleOverland thanks for getting back with me. It started only about a year after install. I’m going to take the top off and try to tighten everything down again and then seal it from the exterior too. I’ve had a ton of water get in and got to the point where it’s standing water on the floorboards. Its mostly coming in toward the front near the freedom tops but absolutely some coming in from the rear too. Basically saturates the sound bar and then flows down the b pillar. Anyway, love the channel. I live in Nashville and you’ve expanded the areas I want to see! Take care!
