Fridman Jew!
John sounds like to trope of the leader of a group of assassins. Calm and calculated and plans the best strategy for a clean kill. If he'd chosen a different profession, he could have been a very dangerous man.
He is a very dangerous man
@@fromyourartist That was my exact thought... word for word.
Yeah I imagine him fixing me a dangerously delicious steak if he chose chef career 🤤
Who says he isn't
I think if it were a real fight Nicky would win.
Even after this I think Nicky Rod is only who has the potential to beat Gordan as he highest potential for only being in jiu jitsu for such a short time
100% and will likely happen in the next 5 years... maybe Meregali in a few years as well if he and Gordo have a "disagreement".
John Danaher should wear a wizard hat anytime he is with Gordon at a tournament. The opponent will think wtf have I gotten myself into.
Love this break down
It’s one thing to have tactical plans and another to execute them with exacting precision, over and over, against the highest levels of competition… this dude is a showcase of goat cheese
Truly Incredible
Wish John was a commentator
It was obvious that Gordon wanted to send a message to Team B. Message sent.
Lol
Gay message sent
Message recieved from the Autims mothership. Time for nosebeers and lets forget the message
6:00 on the shorts, the joe rogan experience logo.
Craig looks like he’s in costume for a Hans and Franz skit
Most mfs won’t remember Hans n Frans but I do
These matches are def the ones that prove GR is truly good at jiu jitsu. From a strategist level to super high technical efficiency in many directions. Dudes not small but neither are his opponents actually.
Hi Lexington.
Privyet.
What an electrifying sport 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Unpopular take but what if there were no sitting to guard in all ADCC matches? Feel like that would advantage wrestlers, but also incentive BJJ grapplers to treat stand up more seriously...Although maybe everyone would forfeit the leg like Gordon 😂
Just let myself get taken down then to be on bottom
Who did gordon face that was "cosiderably" stronger than him and what is the metric for that?
His "girl"friend
🐐
It is penalized to deliberately sit down, but it is not to crawl around on your ass when you have the opportunity to stand up - that seems like an obvious flaw in the adcc rule set
There are several flaws.
The switching sides with the rear body triangle and getting points for it is absurd.
I also think no points for first 5 mons is dumb.. the idea was to make people attack... but alot just stall.
@@marky1846 wrestlers stall, guard players attacking during that time. Plain and simple.
@@AbsoluteADCC wouldn't that make it better to have points start right away?
Give the wrestler ensetive to pass and the gaurd player to sweep? I never said take away penalties for stalling.
@@marky1846 that’s what IBJJF does. And that rule favors guard players more than wrestlers because you can pull guard.
Now the problem is this: who will you force to engage, the bottom or the top?
If I’m a dangerous guard player, all you have to do standing up is to disengage, go side to side, walk away. That’s penalized under IBJJF and if I pull guard you are forced to engage my guard.
I think ADCC took the same approach to guard players that’s why they take -1 during points time for pulling guard because now top player has to engage in passing.
If you put pressure on guard player to chance the top guy then we will tons of butt scooting action which is…well, awkward lol.
The whole rule thing is complicated and there never will be a perfect rule set.
In my opinion, IBJJF essentially does a good job with point.
Combat effective positions are awarded more points.
No penalty for guard pulling but you have to attack from the bottom or penalized.
Takedowns are easy to score which gives wrestles and judo players a huge advantage to score easy 2.
But again, just my opinion.
The fuck? The opportunity to stand up? WHY would Gordon want to stand up in his situation? he is not down on points???
😀😀😁😁😍😍👍👍Makes it simple for you to shop.
Very emotional interview
I don't like points system or too many rules. 😒
This makes no sense, he had to take him down anyway
yeah. But not like that. Gordon gave the leg and let him be taken down in a pull guard kinda way (wihtout pulling guard). Nicky should've ignored the leg and go for another takedown to avoid stalling. And have a more favorable position. But always easy talking stuff from the sidelines afterwards. Just my opinion.
I think Duarte can beat Gordon
It's not a "fight", it's a match.
Seems like you should look up the dictionary definition of a fight and read the multiple meanings.
lmaoo dude is juiced out of his mind going vs a natty athlete and barely winning
what's the word here.... luck?

🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
As a bjj practitioner, I think sport bjj is unwatchable. Reviewing the matches with a dude who wears a rash guard outside of the gym is the perfect thing to put on to fall asleep. This is more effective than the “green noise”.
Idk bro. If you study the vid, there’s really really good points to learn from.
@@LexAladar for sure, but there’s a million other things more interesting to me, like why is my piss yellow?
Yea one punch in face aftrr a "but scoot" and being slammed on concrete ended that "fight".
@@senecaturnpike9179 I mean that would be my priority too. Signs of an unhealthy gut lmao
@@carlotaulisch5060 100%. John talks about this in an interview as well lol but in this matchup the set of rules and environment are to be learned and worked with in order to get the win lol, no one with some logic is gonna triangle in a street fight.
Lex fried whatever is boring af.
