she is gittery but I don't handle her. I cant im too small.
I recommend a ball python or corn snake for begginers. ball snakes are VERY call and curl up [more recommended]

Another great tip for a cheap background for your bearded dragon's enclosure, is adhesive shelf liners, my bearded dragon's enclosure looks like a wood lodge (because he's a manly Meep). You can find them at the dollar store, or if you want it to be fancy, you can get a large sheet from Amazon for a decent price, and they're typically sold in 5ft or more in length.
Also, I've been meaning to get some bee pollen, but I keep forgetting to get some, my boi Meep is super picky and doesn't like to eat his veggies, he did as a baby, but now he turns his snoot up at the salads I get him.
Also, that female leather back made me think of my first bearded dragon, Piper. I miss her so much. She also needed a bra for that dragon rack lol.
Meep too was a dull looking baby when I got him. He's brightened up in colours over time. He's got some beautiful blue bars on his back. And he beard is a light Orange.

Just saw this yesterday; thanks for the bee pollen tip! Rosa actually ate greens today! She is a rescue from a bi-lingual special education classroom. She was NOY properly fed. She came to us morbidly obese and refusing to eat anything but superworms and crickets (handfed to her). She has been slimmed down and can now clumsily hunt worms in a dish. Have tried for over a year to get her to eat veggies. SHe will eat a few berries if presented in the tongs.

I remember at the University of Saskatchewan geology building, I was looking at their bearded dragons and one of them head-bobbed at me, and having no idea what that meant I head-bobbed back. Of course that made him more adamant about the head-bobbing, and we did that back and forth a bit before I got bored and left. Then I checked on google and found out I'd been having a dominance dispute with that bearded dragon, lol!

I have picked up bits and pieces of info along the way. I’m off to change out his UVB light, as it has been WAY longer than 6 months! I’ve also connected with Doshi’s Dragons on FB. This is so perfectly timed! We have been talking about getting a bearded dragon. I fell in love with the idea of having a reptile for a pet after watching your videos. We have talked about getting a snake or bearded lizard. We went to an expo recently to see how our kids would react and see what the cost/needs were for them before we purchased a pet. We fell in love with the bearded dragons we saw and interacted with. We will most likely purchase one later this year after some prep and research. I would love to learn more about them. I will definitely follow Doshi on FB.

My bearded dragon is one of my higher maintenance critters! Definitely do your research before getting one, depending on how you set up your UVB position can determine what strength your bulb has to be. Love my scaly baby, so much sass and personality plus she loves to cuddle.

My hubby and I got our bearded dragon, loki for free. The girl who had him originally couldn't care for him anymore. He was really tiny. Only 7inches long at most, and she had him for 2 months. She did get him at a pet store, so I'm guessing he was about 3 months old or so. Not really sure. My husband and I have had him for 2 months. He eats well and is now around 12inches. Maybe more. Last time we measured him was about a month ago.
Thankfully he is healthy, and we got him out of a bad situation. (We didn't want him to suffer a horrible death of starvation and or lack of any type of light).

I have a dwarf bearded dragon and I know that they can sell for a lot but he’s so cute (I don’t know if he’s male or female because I actually don’t know how to tell and he/she doesn’t really like being touched) so I told my dad no to selling him when we found out he’s not going to grow but I love bearded dragons and seeing so many in one video makes me so happy!!
