I enjoyed your video nice job and i didn't know that you're a triplet. I watched a lot of flip top tool/machine cart videos the way I'll be building is I think mainly with 2x4s I'd rather make the top more robust. I'll be mounting one side miter saw other planer the wing levels will be different. I'll also be using folding brackets they'll be 20inch ones i was also thinking about shimming with washers but make it so the wings can be adjusted vertically. Oh and almost forgot I want to use pillow block bearings and pipe with flange.
If I had to do it again I would for sure do it with 2x4s. Especially with the weight on top like I have. Pillow blocks would be a nice touch too. fold out wings that are vertically adjustable ? that would be impressive. good luck
@IfAlexCan Engineering workshop/extremely versatile flip top cart shows how you can make the wings adjust vertically you'd just have to make it so you can mount the folding brackets on the adjustable pieces.
