- I've been seeing these lock boxes in walmart for a while now and have also wondered just how easy they would be to get in to. Well the answer is VERY easy.

That was cool - the trick with the button is really bad design. The electronics could know that the combo shouldn't be changeable when it's locked up. Thanks for sharing the fun.
I bought one and it only worked for a couple of times. It won't lock period. It just is open 24/7. It still does the beeps and tells me I have the right combination.
Yes, using the combination, the servo will not click over and lock the box. Works with a key, but not the combination which is useless to me.

Use a hair pin put the loop in the lock. Spread the other end wide jiggle and turn. It opens easly.
I was able to pop it open with a screwdriver. I was surprised to see it was still functional afterwards.
I had one, lost the key and after I changed the code for the 5th time I forgot it too. I ended up turning in knob really hard and it broke the lock open. Learned my lesson know I have a real safe and I won't forget the code.
Richard Contini Jr yeah a screwdriver would pry it open too lol. My video was about NDE (non destructive entry) It's just sheet metal after all ☺
My actual safe is bolted to the ground, dial only with glass re locker and very well hidden lol.

that's was pretty awesome Harley. Sentry is not gonna be to happy with you. You just showed everyone how to defeat there safe really easily. I wonder if they seen this video if they would make any changes like put a a little door or something in front of the button so that can't be done. I doubt it lol.
Bobby Keyz I doubt it too. it was only $35 so I'm sure they won't change it. I just hope people see this and think twice when looking for a secure device to store their stuff. Good security isn't cheap. lol. I can only imagine how many guns and dollars are kept in these things.
West Coast Picks Maybe I am wrong in this thinking, but... if the "safe" costs less than the item(s) you are trying to secure, maybe it's time to reevaluate how valuable your valuables are. Obviously that analogy only gets you so far.

West Coast Picks Well, if that is in reference to me spending 10% more on a safe than my valuables, then a safe costing me $10.10 should just about cover it.

MrKenpoKarateGuy lol more like $100 for a thousand dollars worth of valuables. $1000 for 10,000 worth. It obviously breaks down the lower and higher you go. But it is closer than %100. %100 only makes sense for small amounts. Nobody should spend $1000 on a safe to store $1000 worth of stuff. Nor should they spend $100 to store $100 worth of stuff. But that being said, my safe (that is actually quite secure) only cost me $150 (actually a $400 safe) I feel quite secure storing my 30k + worth of silver in.
In short there is no real direct conversion, but %10 seems to work out for values from $1000 to 30k Anything lower than 1k and it's almost not even worth having a safe, just hide it well. Anything over 30k Spending more on a safe doesn't really give you any more security.
I believe entire keypad top will pop off and u can manipulate lock that way as well
I don’t know how to lock pick and my battery was dead, so this didn’t work. Instead, I took a hammer, and pried it open - it’s just a little metal latch and the hinges are flexible, so you can move the entire top forward until it pries open. Took me a minute and a little bit of force. Then, you can replace the battery and do whatever you want with it. This does bend the hinges a bit, so though it’s still usable, it’s clear something happened.

Nice methods of entry bud! The folks at Sentry are gonna have to update their security a bit. Especially since you just exploited the entire non destructive entry methods. Lol I'm glad you did this video because people need to know about their safe's weaknesses. I bet alot of people probably use one of these safes to keep very expensive stuff in them and sensitive information too. So, now they will know that you get what you pay for! Keep on picking!
Once you finished modding it, I'd use a prybar and pinch the Abloy cam lock!😁👍👍👍
Use 2 knives pray open cover slightly with 1 push button with the next enter new code done. Easier than this

key won't work either if the weakest point breaks which is the gray unlock knob... ours stripped out so sledge hammer time....

see if that lock dial pops off and then the keypad top should just pop off and on. Exposing more holes you can stick wires or anything through. many of these safes have that issue. most of them can be open with a paperclip
