    0:00 - 500 Years Old Machining Technology
    1:31 - First Lathe Machine
    2:00 - Recreated Model
4:37 - Oldest Vertical Lathe Machine
    5:08 - Advanced Ancient Technology
    7:24 - Conclusion
Hey guys, this is the ancient site of Hampi that has been abandoned for at least 500 years, and here we can see this rock that shows solid evidence of machining technology. These perfect circular marks on this rock can be produced only with machines. This process is called facing, and we use the same technology today using lathe machines. It is covered with dirt when I found it, so I cleaned it up. Now, If you look at these circles, they are perfectly concentric and there is no deviation, no chipping in the rock, very similar to modern day technology. The rectangular slot in the center proves that this rock was machined using lathe technology. So, how was this created at least 500 years ago, at a time when historians claim there was no such technology? Were ancient builders using high tech machines many centuries ago, just like today? If this is true, we should not only find finished products like this circular rock, but we should also find the entire mechanism that was able to create this finished product. Is it possible that the entire mechanism, the lathe itself can be found in the same area?
Now, if we take a step back and look at the entire picture, it has some very interesting components. It has two posts with circular holes near the top, which obviously means that a cylindrical rod was inserted between them, like this. This is a simple model that I am recreating, which I will show side by side, so you can understand this better. Nearby, we can see a long rectangular slab, with a hole in the center. When I measured the length of the slab, it matches exactly with the distance between the two posts. What does this mean? This means that the slab would fit perfectly between these posts. I am using this green rectangular styrofoam block which represents the slab in my model. So, the set up would look like this.
If a metal tool was placed on this cylinder, pointing downwards, it looks like a modern day vertical lathe machine. I am going to use a pen for the metal tool in my model. This rectangular slab would be the base plate on which circular rocks could be placed and machined. Here is a simple round object which represents the circular rock and I place it on the rectangular slab, and if I rotate the circular rock, and lower the tool from the top, we can create these identical tool marks. See the similarity of the circles between this model, and the actual rock. My model has not rotated on a perfect axis, so you see that the circles are not as good, but the work of ancient builders was perfect. This set up actually proves that ancient people used vertical lathe technology, at least 500 years ago.
What's even more interesting is that you can see some circular wear and tear on the base plate as well. Look at the base plate, you can see these half circular marks caused by the rotating objects which were placed on top of it. The other half shows no such tool marks, because these marks were created by accident, by friction from the rotating objects placed above. You can see the same marks beginning to form on my model as well.
All these evidences clearly prove that machining technology, specifically vertical lathe technology was used in India, at least 500 years ago, and some archeologists even say this site was built 2300 years ago. So, I think I have just discovered the oldest machining set up, known to mankind, and it is lying in plain sight, abandoned and covered in dirt.

Phenomenal Travel Videos excellent information. I think most if not all the ancient stone structures are much older than anyone suspects. Time of metal deterioration would be an excellent place to start. After the great cataclysm there would've been pockets of industrial materials all over the world. The survivors would've had to put broken machine parts together to make a working machine. If the planet knew the cataclysm was coming (comet) the entire planet would've exhausted every resource in an effort to build sustainable structures, meaning most machines would've been construction related. That's exactly what we see all over the planet from the survivors.

Dude, i know this like super late to be asking this but go to 2:22 and pause it. look at that base stone. Can you guys do this type of half lathe like cutting look? Just curious because it stood right out there and the cut on the front of the slab which might be a trick of the camera angle.

I can imagine that the vertical lathe is too heavy and even that the material too heavy to spin. My father and step-father were machinists and I paid attention. Easier in this case to create a v-lathe machine where everything but the tool itself was fixed. The rotating tool hanging down and rotating one or multiple cutters. In other words a fly cutter mill tool.I can see it from the parts he shows, I beleive.

However, the education, justice and law systems, along with railways (just to name a couple), have contributed to what India is today.

Random question: Am I the only one who thinks Japan is still a very mysterious place on Earth? Because like in India, there's a lot of unexplained ancient sites and artifacts that, unlike the rest of the world, remained perfectly preserved and intact for hundreds, if not thousands of years. Heck, there's even stone structures in Japan that are eerily similar to the Vimana structures in India! I mean, that's strange, isn't it?

These things were built and used so very very long ago that all of the non-ferrous metal components that were part of this machine rusted away and disappeared. Think about it, if you left a big tractor or any massive type of machinery to the elements, How many years would it take till there was no sign of it...500 years,5000 years or even 100,000 years. Stone erodes much slower than iron or steel and that's why no tools are ever found at the ancient sites. Only things of stone. Thank you Praveen for another great video. • @l.m.892
      @l.m.892 3 роки тому +1

@@DeepakKumar-pv2ir The goal of a colonizer is not to make great countries. Colonizers always want something for themselves, not for the land they colonize and people they displace. You should look at the evidence. We have colonizers from Earth that is recorded history. If colonizers came from a place other than Earth, what could they possibly want? If it was to make a better Earth, then can we say they have achieved their goal? People of Earth are divided, not knowing who they can trust. Pointing a finger at someone (even yourself) and bringing accusations is not the way to grow with health. At some point you must abandon accusations and work on perfection.
Start with self. Then teach others. For this, the yugas will give insight, but you must take the goal farther, extend the basics into a mature science. Stop tossing insult and offer help. There will be progress only then. Some of the problems we face are well known. Others are not so easy to identify. As the video suggests, there has been some hiding in the past. Things that should be known are not known as well as they should be because they have been hidden. Let's open our eyes and see the truth. We can know where we are going only if we know where we are. Where we were gives us an idea of the direction we are headed in. We avoid repeating mistakes because we have knowledge rather than ignorance. If we proceed the right way, we can make this a better world for all, rather than thinking primarily of ourselves (using the desired yugas, rather than one leading to destruction, or nowhere). We can see an immediate good return with the right actions.
How we treat one another determines our relationship. Let's treat one another with respect, and push out those who reject what is right. Together, we can. Alone, we may fall victim to an attack. We should know by now that there are those who would subjugate nations. It is easier to overthrow someone who is separated from their group. I do believe that is one of the reasons why so many megalithic constructions exist worldwide where there is no history of them recorded in an easy to understand way. Someone who doesn't tell you what they are doing or why, is not a good teacher. Someone who does not tell you where they are leading you is not a good leader. A good leader will realize that everyone can contribute; that everyone SHOULD contribute. It is possible that someone may know a better way than the one that is proposed. Standing aloof is not a good advancement tool.
Perhaps we are grabbing the wrong toolbox on the way to work.

Now I am spending a lot of my time studying the history and culture. India has such a rich history and so many wonders. Like you said, it is such a great shame that India does not have the recognition that it deserves.

I am very impressed. I wish I could give you a thousand thumbs up. I have been following both you and Brian Foerster. He has shown evidence for the use of lathes as well but you are the first to find parts of an actual lathe. I do wonder if this is the same technology that was used in ancient Egypt. Since this machine was stripped of it's components I wonder if the metal used was iron because of it's strength and diamond because of it's hard sharp edge. Today we use diamond coated discs to cut and shape granite because diamonds are so expensive but this would not be a problem for ancient people who could find fist size diamonds just laying on the ground. It would be interesting if you could test for iron residue in the pillar holes and the center of the discs.

Bro, I’m not a mechanic but I believe there is some corrections needed on your findings. As we see the marks on the base rock, it’s not created by the rock kept on top for lathe. It’s created by the same needle which carved the rock. I believe it’s not the rock rotating from the base rock, it’s needle rotating from the two supporting pillars. That rotating needle caused same marks on the base rock by accident. Because it’s same circular well carved structures, it’s not scratched by accident. Also if you think about this mechanism, it’s very difficult to rotate a rock from the base rock. Rock would be having heavy weight and there is no efficient bearing technology at that time. Otherwise they should use some lubricants to rotate the rock. But that also difficult to rotate a rock. One more thing, To rotate the rock from base rock, base rock should be very smooth at least, but here it’s not. So my conclusion is, it’s not the rock rotated from the base rock. It’s needle rotated in circular form from hanging pillars. If you see the carved rock, you can see one hole at the center. I believe there might be one rode which connect to top bar and somehow they fitted the needle on that bar and rotated in circular form. If I’m a ancient technician, I will definitely look for the way to rotate the needle instead thinking of rotating the heavy rock from the base. 😁

Evidence of machine tooling goes way further back, just look at ancient Egyptian artifacts which date more than 5000 years ago which show clear evidence that they were machined and also this is not a ne w idea and has been even speculated for over a hundred years now and most likely even longer, the only reason the public does not hear of this info is bc its not in line with the orthodox view of Egyptologist… but another example would be Ancient Rome or Greece where evidence has been found in a wide variety of objects which show clear and distinct tooling marks which indicate the use of machines and metrology. Only in recent years due to the overwhelming evidence have the historians ( as far as ancient Rome and Greece are concerned) have been considering revising the narrative which hash been taught for ages now. Its beyond a shadow of doubt that ancient societies as far back as we can trace had developed forms of basic machining… cheers

Yogeshwar Maya....wow slow your Pony hauls, don't go calling the man God Almighty just yet. the rock is not all that old, and if you don't believe that look at the chipping along the ground exactly if it were thousands of years old do you honestly believe the by products from them chips would still be laying there all these years later, furthermore it is not weathered or aged in the slightest, suspiciously it looks like it was just made yesterday, and I'm not all that convinced it wasn't. in fact I am sure that it is an old sign perch of some sort, and it definitely looks like a piece of concrete if you want to know the truth about it. Moreover yet I'm pretty damn sure it's little more than a piece of concrete poured to hold up a sign stand, hence the square hole in the center of the Stone which is not a lathe tie like this Pretender wants us to believe anyone that has ever been near a lathe knows that a lathe mount is round most usually not square and never that small, especially for something so large.in other words this stone is nothing more than a man-made concrete pedestal.it is modern, and made by mankind today not thousands of years ago.. anyway you got to give the guy an e for effort but while you're at it give him an a for ass-whole as well good day. It is what it is ...... There is nothing new under the sun. While it is obvious that indians are intelligent, but I don't think they invented these so called "advanced technology" out of thin air. The construction methods used by them is similar to other ancient megalithic structures around the world. Some of them are significantly much older than the ones found in their country. I seriously doubt indians traveled around the world and built megalithic structures just for fun. It is more likely that they have inherited knowledge and technology from other civilization or perhaps, taught to them by their gods (whatever they may be).
If you really want to be so "mainstream science" or technical about it then we can argue that they inherited their intelligence from Africa. After all, all humans originated in africa.......LOL.
BTW, Wikipedia is hardly a source of factual data. There's a reason why universities and other school will not allow students to use it as a source for their research papers.

GQ7 I have many"Ojar" family membera living in America and the Caribbean. My grandfather had a bike shop in Trinidad and Tobago named "Ojars" but once he passed he sold it off. I'd really love to go to India and see what I can find. My sister and mother already travelled from South to North by train. + Me being able to see which direction the world was heading from a very young age and now discovering all the beautiful hidden wonders of the world. I think it's time I step up and see what's out there.

yes, they had used machines, the precision and exactness of these components could not have been achieved by manual methods. There is consistency that does not diminish even when a very large number parts are there.

There is a whole other History about the ancient past that we have yet to really learn about, for some reason this past knowledge has been suppressed?

Dale Ryan the reason is religion. Superiority of some religions may come in danger if this things come out.

I cannot believe that religion is so fragile not to be able to encompass actual facts about our Historical Past, we already can see that much has been hidden from the history books and we are also now beginning see clearly just what has been hidden from us, does it change your belief in God, for me it just enhances it all, on the earth there once walked giants that had great wisdom and had the ability to build great monuments and statues of incredible intricacy, they knew all about the stars and may even have travelled amongst them, if not originated from one of them, I say lets learn about them and open the doors to them, I am sure they have much to teach us.

Looks like a manual driven grain mill of some sort. The stones were tighter on one side then the other to allow the grain to be fed in and ground up. But what does an old farmer know, right?
