Thanks! And I agree. Robin Villa did a great job on the blades and Dave Corinth did great on the screwdriver. Dave is making some more - I guess they’ve been selling well on eBay.
That screwdriver is sick, and I love the longer/branded irons. The screwdriver would have better grip if it had vertical grooves cut into the grip portion. I have a couple screwdrivers (one is made by Fulton) with those in the grip, and they're my most used screwdrivers for planes.
I would be interested in the chip breaker screw driver and the finding out more for the plane till holders. Esp for a #1 and #2. Will you bring any of these to the next RATS meeting?
I’ll have some chip breaker screwdrivers available as early as next week. For the plane till holders, I can put you in touch with the gentleman who makes them. As for RATS, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to make it to the next meeting, but I can try
I love your branded blades! And that chipbreaker screwdriver is awesome

I have the Lee Valley one but this one from Corinth Toolworks is LEGIT
Nice! I made an iron for one of those using an old putty knife.
Sounds legit. Long as it’s thick enough.
Let me know if you want to upgrade 😉

It is thick. About 1/8th of an inch. And holds an edge good too.
Nice!

Thanks for sharing. Really like the driver and replacement blades. Will you be offering blades for other types as well?
We’re planning to make reproduction blades for No80s and No12s but not for regular bench planes at this time.
Wondering if Just Plane Fun makes blades for the Stanley 192. ???
I don’t have anyone making reproduction No192 blades but I’ll bet I have a vintage original available.
I have a block plane I inherited that I would like to see if you could tell me if it was Stanley and the round about year of production
Find me on FB @ Just Plane Fun - the parts division. If you’re not a Facebook user, you can email me at jplanefun@gmail.com
Do you have an email to send pic to
Are you selling the Corinth chip breaker screwdriver? I can't find a website for Corinth Toolworks.
I’ll be selling them by the end of May. Dave is sending some my way soon.
@@justplanefun perfect!!!!
The newly made thumb plane blades look a bit long. That is it seems to me that it would not be comfortable.
I reckon it all depends on how the user is holding the plane.
That’s a 1-in-4 video. 😅
I shoulda made it longer so my AVD would be higher 😅
