  • REV'IT! Seesoft Back Protector Review www.revzilla.co... The REV'IT! Seesoft Back Protector insert is a welcomed addition to the REV'IT! armor family that offers CE Level 2 protection. The Seesoft back inserts use a combination of Nitrile Rubber and Norsorex to create impact protection that is durable, lightweight, breathable and approved for multi-impact protection. The Seesoft armor is constructed of a 4-layer system that also provides protection from obtuse or angular impacts, which is a feature not often found in armor protection. The materials used in the Seesoft back pads also offers excellent temperature stability over a wide range. The SeeSoft protectors are offered in 3 different shapes and in several sizes. The Seesoft Type KN is for replacement Knox armor, the Type ST is for replacement SaS-Tec armor, and the Type RV is specifically for REV'IT! products. Each Type is offered in a variety of sizes to give the best fit for any REV'IT! jacket or any other jacket that might take a Knox or SaS-Tec back protector.

    It depends on the shape. Some back protector pockets extend down further than others. If you want something that is definitely lower, try the Tryonic Feel 3.0 Back Protector. -CK

    Hi. I couldnt find the chest inserts for my OFFTRACK Jacket and for my suprise the alpinestars nucleon chest inserts fitted perfectly. Looks like the nucleon inserts are CE-1. I think the only complaint refers to the weight of the nucleon chest pads compared to rev'its pads.

    Nice presentation with unfortunately lots of blabla about buying and sizing but no presentation of the protector itself. What are these layers good for? Can you remove one if you do not need that much protection? I wish you could give more info about the product and less advertising....

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  9 років тому +1

      69indigoblue The REVIT See Soft CE-Level 2 back protector is designed to absorb multiple impacts without compromising on comfort, ventilation or freedom of movement. The highly impact-resistant blend of Nitrille and Polynorbornene rubber results in a memory foam that is multi-impact rated and CE Certified to the highest level of prEN 1621-2:2010 level 2.
      In the case of severe angular impact, the individual Memory Foam layers will shift relative to one another, resulting in impact dispersion over a larger effective surface area and therefore minimizing the energy that is transmitted to the spine and back. The Seesoft back protector performs extremely consistently in all weather conditions and is unaffected by temperature ranges from -4° F to +104° F (-20° C to +40° C). The layers are not removable. -Hi-Viz Brian

    Hello Antony and Gents, I have an option to buy the RV as promo. However I consider safety before the price. My jacket is the Alpinestar gunner and the original is the nucleon KR. I would like to know if these are similar in the protection they provide. I know that they are both CE2 but there are CE2 and CE2. Thanks a million for fast answer.

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  6 років тому

      The protection is very similar between the Seesoft and the Nucleon KR-2i. There's no need to change from the Nucleon. -DrewZilla

    RevZilla Is there a size of Seesoft protector that will fit in Dainese jackets, in place of the G1 or G2?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  9 років тому

      ***** It may be possible, but Dainese sometimes changes the overall dimensions of their back protectors slightly. If you already have a Dainese jacket, measure the length and width of the back protector pocket and compare it to the Seesoft Size Chart* linked below. -DrewZilla

    I have the Rev'it Seesoft RV04 matched to my Rev'it Vigor jacket. I'm planning to get the Rev'it Airwave 2 soon, which is also compatible with the Rev'it Seesoft RV04. However, I expect to use the Vigor a lot more than the Airwave. Question: Would it be practical to get a separate back protector for each, or should I just keep one and switch between jackets when needed?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  5 років тому +2

      Both options are valid. If switching jackets a lot though, I would just invest in a second back protector. -DrewZilla

      @Daedalus_UK 10 років тому

      Why can I not order this, as you do have retailers in the UK?
      I'm sorry, but due to manufacturer restrictions, we are unable to ship REV'IT products internationally.
      We do accept orders with an International billing address that are shipped within the US if you have someone who can receive your package for you. Additionally, there are third party shipping services which can provide you with a US address we can ship to. This service will then forward the package to you abroad. Two companies our customers have had success with in the past are MyUS.com and Aramex.
      Very sorry for the inconvenience, let us know if we can be of any further assistance!
