Not gonna lie, I got anxious when I saw you working over a glass table, but very informative, thank you for putting this together.
Glad you liked it!
Yep, the carbon dust causes slow rotation. Just clean the insides but make sure the brushes are still ok. Was not sure of this before but this video is a confirmation. Thanks.
The best accurate repair video ever. thanks.
Ill try mine tomorrow. My aircon doesnt cool anymore, im glad the technician has accurate trouble shooting, its the fan.
Thank you.
It just save me well over $500 dls on my ATS 2.0T.
For only 2 hours of work and $75 dls for carbons

I fixed it after watching the video. Now the fan is spinning 100% .
Glad it helped
Excellent video especially for those that can fix on a budget and the same time learn
Glad you liked it!
This is excellent video and will save hundreds, new fans are expensive, I thought the windings were the cause of fan failure. New brushes and clean the commutator and like new.
Thanks for watching!
you deserve million views 🌹
Really appreciate your video bro nissan urvan always have this problem
Nicely explained,u should have placed a newspaper or something while working on a glass table inorder to avoid scratches. Although the video was nice and thanks for the tips, will do the same as shown 🙏.

Very useful information
Brilliant super work ALLAH bless u brother
May Allah bless you to😁
Also if you ever need a good quality cheap dc motor with considerable power for any DIY project, a radiator fan motor is hard to beat. They are typically rated at 12vdc at 80~90Watts, they are tough can handle overloads for long periods of time and are well made and easy to mount. I'm using them to open garage sliding doors, and it's way better than the usual roller door rubbish on the market.
Most of the cheap radiator fans on ebay, are rated at 90watts run at 2250rpm and have approximately 6.5kg/cm stalled torgue, and can stay stalled for some time unlike other motors without burning out. They make a mild wissing sound, so they are not as quite as a ac induction motor, but at around $30 its so cheap, and its fine for most applications.
Thanks man for the input
Thanks for this video...it helped a lot.
you're welcome ... and thanks for your visit
Well explained in detail. Great video
Glad you liked it!
Very informative video this one is thanks dear friend
Hit with a hammer the back center in each fan, carbon dust can adding friction to the motor fan.
It worked for me when the motor wasn’t start or the fan was running slowly.
Great tip! thanks ...
Thank you for your good knowledgeable video 👍
Glad it was helpful!

Sy Rasa Kalau Ada Drill, Boleh La Gunakan Drill Untuk Memudahkan Sikit Kerja2 Untuk Sanding Contact Point Gap 2... :)
I hold my breath seeing that glass table.
To Visionery1 ; my I know what app you are using to post your comment..your comment appear at my email but when I try to reply..you cant be found so I just write the answer here (the holes for the blue wires were originally built ) and for question no 2 (some bearing can run without oil or grease)and for these motor which shown in the video,it's using high grade copper bushes at both end
great video! my question is.. where do you get replacement brushes?
thanks inadvance!
larry
mafosa thanks.. you can get its from an electrical shop which sell all type of electrical components spare parts...or shop which sell power hand tools...and please bring along your carbon brushes...because this carbon brushes came in many shape and size..
Very nice work, it's help me lot
Thanks for the guide👍🏼
Nice trick with the blue wires (are the holes for the blue wires existing, or did you drill them?)! Should one not put some grease on the rear bearing?
Can we repair wagan r stingray 2014 fan model
Radiator fans complete with motor various sizes are available on ebay for around $30 each, I surprised any one would spend hours trying to repair an old one.
bjtaudio ha ha ... If that's was the case ... The fans were not invented in the first place ... I guess 😁 anyway thanks for your visit
bjtaudio took you at least 3 days to get it ship to your home, while you can spend 1-2hours to fix it and save money..only people don’t know how to fix or lazy do like what you said 😂
hi thanks it is very easy to do it some time we think we buy it new it cost us .this time i will do it by my self one QUESETION where i get the replacement brushes.
pirwaheed kamal bring along the carbon brush to the shop which selling power hand tools .. you should find its there .. if you can't find the exact size .. just choose carbon brush which slightly bigger than yours ... And then you can resize it's using sandpaper
PPE do not want to inhale that dust into your lungs.
thank you thank you
You are very welcome
Thank you so much..
You're most welcome
Which size of carbon brush? i think need to replace bearing too, THANKS
nice! thanks good info
Good
Thanks..
Hai..cant i now....what is the size of the carbon brush?
Sir, don't we need to put oil to lubricate the rotor shaft of the fan motor so it could run smoothly?
no need .. usually it's used bearings and if the motor noisy when in operation, just replace the bearing
It should add some bearing grease for it. Oil Lubricant is easy to be dry when motor bearings run hot.
Yes by oiling the front and rear bushings the motor will be quiter and spin fastige
do you have a video for replacing the carbon brush?
What size wire do you recommend to hold the springs back?
on which website did you get the carbon brushes?
What type of copper wire is used here?
What kind car used this DC motor fan, guys..thx
I changed a motor that looked just like this in the video. Curiosity had me spraying carb cleaner an silicone spray into the tiny hole on the front an unlimited amounts of black metallic looking stuff came out. I was wondering if that could be an easy fix?
I'm tempted to put it back on the car an test it
How was the test? Was it work fine?
@@muhammadalbikasim8478 it's still working till today, apparently all the dust in it made it spin slow and cause over heating. If you use carb cleaner be sure to re lubricate the small bearings
@@t_money_third9654 well thanks for the info. I am going to check my motor fan this weekend 👌

Bhai 2012 modle gli hi uska fan slow hi heating 97 digree p jati hi tab fan charts hi bilkul slow,??
My fan motor keep vibrating and noisy. What cause is it?
Bearing's already spoil...
@@KluangmanCooleck yes my fan moto vios 2011 also vibration and noisy. Can i change bearing only?or one set moto fan?
@@syaffiqzawawi8845 actually it's not an easy task for replacing the bearing ... I recommend that you replace the motor complete set and you will having a peaceful mind years ahead ... Unless the motor were just like in the video ... Not spinning normally due to other reasons ...
Because ... When the bearing spoil ... The shaft also already damaged
