  • It was about time I had a light, healthy, and delicious meal. If you haven't heard of SHABU-SHABU then you're missing out. SHABU-SHABU is a Japanese hotpot consisting of thinly sliced meat and vegetables in a water-based soup. I opted to put a few extra ingredients in the broth to flavor it up but the choice is yours; traditional SHABU-SHABU calls for boiled water and seaweed.
    The dish is simple to recreate at home and I've listed the ingredients below for your own interpretation. Let me know what you've decided to include in your delicious hotpot.
