there is one saying in Vietnamese: "you can tell how good a phở gà (chicken pho) by looking at the color of the broth". and as a phở-gà-lover, I have to say: that's a darn good color. you nailed this recipe.
Wow but this recipe was amazing. More steps than I am normally used to, but this step by step instruction helped to liberate my fears! Hang over soup, cold weather soup, fall soup, rainy day soup……. Thank you for this recipe
In Northern Vietnam, when it’s winter, a bowl of pho is perfect for our tummy. In the central of Vietnam, when it turns hot and hummit, we often choose to eat fresh spring rolls. They satisfy our crave for cooler.
The recipes look great man. Can't wait to get through them for some new ideas. You're more than welcome to come up to the station if ypu ever wanna make a video up there.
Thank you for the recipe! Just made it for my family today! Loved it! Absolute flavor bomb! I must ask though, the chicken was really mushy. Just wondering how to prevent that?
Great question! The chicken will be ready after 40 minutes. You can also add the chicken to an ice bath to stop the cooking process. It may also depend on how high the heat was, what type of chicken (young chicken) tends to get really tender and can over cook easily. I’ve done this in the past as well 😥. Thank you for checking out the channel and trying the recipe! You’re a real superstar ⭐️
I crave Pho 24/7!
Do you prefer chicken or beef?

I prefer pho bo.
i really love me some pho bo as well!
how many does this feed?
I used an 8qt pot and I was able to make 6-8 servings.
Calling this chicken noodle soup is an insult to Pho Ga.
What makes the soup insulting?
Please tell me you have a chicken pho video.
I’ll make sure to post one in the near future
I appreciate you checking in on this recipe!
NewJeans Hanni made this
I would love to make this with Hanni!
Pho is panacea.
Couldn’t agree more.
Does it really get cold on a rainy day in Vietnam? No Bub, it does not.
Probably not in Vietnam but I know when it’s cold and rainy here in the states a bowl of Pho is exactly what I need. Thanks for stopping by!
