I've never seen such architecture of those houses in Jaisalmer. So fascinating... Thanks for traveling, not 'where no man has travelled before,' but where a certain 'woman is prepared to go'!
Another fabulous video and takes me back again to my happy days in India. I lived and worked there for 2 1/2 years and I called it home. I place I was heartbroken to leave. Your videos show it much as I remember but with faster roads and vehicles with the same dire driving standards. You’ve certainly adapted well especially in the madness of town traffic. Superb!
The carvings on the walls of the buildings...WOW. The Buildings themselves were impressive. The fort was amazing, but I loved the sight of the Indian woman riding side saddle on the scooter pillion through those narrow lanes.
Noraly never fails to surprise her viewers with her choice of ride destinations. But the Rat Temple for one was unique and one is not surprised to find her visiting it. We know by now that she does her research quite well. Its very entertaining to watch her navigate through the narrow by-lanes of Jaisalmer and to hear her interact with the locals. Seems like Noraly is fully enjoying the desert towns and their culture. From high altitude desert of Ladakh to the sandy plains of Thar , the journey with Itchy Boots has been amazingly diverse and lively. And at the end of each vlog one’s mind is tickled by the thought - what next ? Film-maker par excellence , ride on 👍
Often wonder how she does it. I think what could she possibly do next to keep the train rolling full steam ahead, entertaining, teaching, creating, and raising the bar, but she does it. Sometimes I hope she isn't stressing herself to satisfy us. Her content reminds me a bit of a marathon race. So many competitors (YT vloggers) and Noraly is leading the pack with everyone else trying their best to catch her but can't. Peace!
You are so amazing at making your travels through the narrow pathways, dodging cars, people, motorbikes, cattle, dogs, and traveling stores...look so easy. The buildings are works of art! Absolutely gorgeous fort, and view of the fort from your window in your luxury room. Great video, Noraly.

19:30 wow what a legend this guy a musician, instrument maker and a conversationalist. Didn't expect him to suddenly start speaking in better English than 80% of the country. I am not calling him conversationalist because of the english speaking though(it's just another language), but the way he asked your name back and then pronounced it correctly is what made me say so. . Bdw, Rajasthani people are the most welcoming people amongst the Indians and are most open to other cultures. so probably they are the most welcoming on earth too, their soul song literally means "Welcome to our country". This is also reflected in their linguistic skill, I find from my practical experience that they are highly adept at picking up other languages and nuances of other cultures.
Fascinating fort but for me this episode was about the animals. Cows just casually sitting in the narrow roads, flocks of birds in the fort, dogs on raised patios. The best though was the goat ducking under the fence wire as you rode past. Thanks Noraly.
What an amazing ride so typical of the ancient cities and citadels, but the palace and fortress what an impressive place. Thank you Noraly for showing us some fascinating places in your journeys. GO ITCHY BOOTS, GO ... 🏍🏍🏍

Really the highlight of this video is Jaisalmer and its fort and homes, not going "topspeed". I feel that the title should reflect that :) It is such an amazing place. I visited Jaisalmer and stayed in the fort back in 1990. It seemed like a sleepy town then, not so commercial and crowded. I do remember people were starting to get satellite dishes so you'd see them all over. The world was starting to change. Amazing to be taken back there after all these years. A truly special place. Thank you . . .
Kudos to you Noraly for staying calm in that chaotic traffic. I was anxious just watching you navigate those narrow streets. Thanks for taking me to all the places I will most likely never get to see in person.
A perfect distillation of what I imagine is the most beautiful of Indian culture. The views from inside the fort .... wow. Lots of pretty lattice work, too. I loved today's tour, thank you.
Your tour of Jaiselmer brought back so many wonderful memories. I walked the same streets and climbed the same palace stairs some 20 years ago and nothing seems to have changed. Thank you so much for sharing your travels!

I love your Alaska and how well it did but I must say I am impressed by this Royal Enfield. The motor has plenty of grunt and never seems strained but always smooth. Has a pleasant sound too. Really incredible trip through the maze in the city and seeing the fort. Wow.
Truly. And the fact that the motorcycle did well in both the cold and freezing heights of Ladakh and the dry and humid climate of Rajasthan says something about it's quality.
Another great video. The Indian architecture is amazing. What is also amazing is that without it seems, many rules and regulations, people move around freely and in harmony. Also, that many have a smattering of the English language. A left over from the colonial days. I look forward to your videos, Noraly. I admire your intrepid adventures into the unknown. Stay safe.
So much to see in these videos, must watch multiple times. Getting quite a diverse education on India! Makes for great discussion at work. So happy you got a beautiful upgraded luxurious room because some of the rooms you have had over the years were at the opposite end of spectrum! The architectural detail in some of those buildings boggles the mind. Can anyone even do that today? Thank you for the hard work it takes to bring us enjoyment. Ride Safe, Peace, and God Bless! ❤❤❤
We can still, in fact Rajasthan is known for such talented artisans. The newly built biggest temple outside Asia is in New Jersey USA, the entire structure of rock is carved in this state of India. You can look it up 'The Akshardham Temple New Jersey'.

Watching these Indian travels, surprisingly I find myself missing the traffic sounds of traveling India roads with a motorbike. While living there it often became overwhelming, but I now see the benefits to be greater than the annoyance of loud horns being seemingly wired to the brakes.
140 kph = 87 mph which is excellent for a fully loaded bike of that size. I'm really lovin' your India series. Also chai is the best! I remember your tube change episode from Argentina. The buildings were very cool. It looked like the woman on the back of the scooter was holding on for dear life. A bike bigger than Basan2 would be a disadvantage for the streets you're riding. Great episode! Thanks, Noraly!
140 is ok but there are other bikes in that class like my ktm390 adventure and my mates bmw310 GS that we have both had over 160kph here in Australia whilst loaded up with luggage on multi day camping trips. And both those bikes are also made in India
@@anthonysimoes7307 hi mate. While I am not a professional or anything, Duke 390 ADV loves high rpms. It is not meant for low rpm/slow speeds is what I read/heard. It is a short stroke engine. So, no wonder you can hit 160 with that. It's 44bhp anyways. And it is much much lighter than Himalayan. That factor helps in speed. I do not have any idea about 310GS though. Cheers.

Film-maker par excellence , ride on 👍
I found it surprising that Noraly visited the Rat Palace and I found it even more surprising that I watched a video featureing rats!
What a beatiful place ❤ my kind off town! 😊
Peace!
@@jasonzerbini2375 Agree with you fully
You are so amazing at making your travels through the narrow pathways, dodging cars, people, motorbikes, cattle, dogs, and traveling stores...look so easy. The buildings are works of art! Absolutely gorgeous fort, and view of the fort from your window in your luxury room. Great video, Noraly.
she has riden the whole of Africa.. you should watch her other earlier vlogs.. there were such an eyeopener to watch.. crazy.
@@coolasta1987 I agree, having watched all her videos, starting in India until todays video, twice. Her abilities since her first video on Basanti have shown great confidence and experience.
I would love to ride my bike though those streets, what an amazing experience it would be.
I've noticed the same with other desert dwellers like in Mauritania, Africa.
The Himalayan sure has had quite a diverse assortment of roads and riding conditions for you to test in this series, Noraly.
Looks like it has passed with flying colours, so far!
And Bravo to you for being able to negotiate the Indian traffic!!
It's not just a motovlog it's a whole infotainment channel & the best one on UA-cam!!
This roof top vista from the fort truly gives a birds eye view of the city. Thanks for taking us places we may never be able to visit.
Hi from NZ Noraly, I absolutely love this current series. Your cinematography is on a new level, also really enjoying your people interactions and sightseeing. My wife and I adore your wonderful episodes and your fearless adventurous spirit.
Noraly has raised the bar more than a few notches regards to Motorcycle vlogging... Her channel here is like an immense treasure trove of raw adventure & an in-depth look at life behind the scenes from numerous places, cultures, people etc... Noraly.. you never cease to amaze us... Keep going... More power to you.. Cheers !! Stay Blessed.... ❤🎉🎉
Love the Rajasthan…Jaisalmer was spectacular…such beautiful contrasts of sand coloured structures and vibrant clothing.
The cities and villages you share with us are just amazing! Plus, the people are kind and friendly. The palace appeared to be centuries old! The new Himalayan seems to be a great motorcycle! Thanks for sharing this day in your adventures with us! Ride safe Noraly!
India has the most number of heritage sites. But do we fund and maintain them? No
The fort was laid down in 12th century, it grew afterwards.
That palace gave me definite Mc Escher vibes! With all those stairs and arches seemingly going everywhere...
Hallo Noraly,
Wij genieten volop van je avonturen in India.
Met dank en hartelijke groeten,
Jan.
I travelled to Jaisalmer back in the 1980s and watching this video has brought back many happy memories of the place. Keep up the good work Noraly!
can't recognize the place any more
13:00 Noraly is a true master of riding the highways, sand tracks, city street traffic-alleys-streets like a local biker!!
I'd like to give a double "thumbs up" on this episode. Loved the palace, the homes, the people.
❤ No doubt about it.Noraly's UA-cam channel has everything that you're looking for; adventures, thrill, excitement and passion for discovering new places. I like the most is the interaction with locals.❤
Notaly’s interactions with the locals are generally positive and fun to watch. It is amazing how many countries and cultures she has encountered on her adventures!
@@WillysPerformanceCycleCtr She is an extraordinary woman. We are so lucky finding her channel and learning, enjoying her adventure. Thank you!
Your videos get more sublime every time. The quality of the editing and the hard work you put n to the whole adventure of life never ceases to increase my admiration of you
I WAS ONCE A RESIDENT OF LAMU TOWN AND OLD MOMBASA TOWN IN KENYA. THE SWAHILI CULTURE HAS SIMILAR STRUCTURES LIKE WHAT HAVE SEEEN IN THE VIDEO. WOOOOW
What a truly wonderful and beautiful planet we have, I dearly hope mankind can get its act together and look after it. Keep going Itchy, looking forward to the next episode. You're certainly building up a lot of 'keeper' memories with your adventures, Thanks so much for sharing this one!
You have inspired me! Currently in the western Sahara! India in February!
the colours, sights and sounds...it was a feast for the eyes...seems as though living in the barren desert has made the people imbibe all richer, colorful and ornate elements in their lives...such lovely golden mansions
What a cool place, the homes were fantastic with all the detailed architecture. The amount of motorcycles really surprises me. You never disappoint Noraly!
Oh, the tapestry of India unfolds,
From the icy Himalayan heights, where stories are told. ❄
Through valleys striped and mountains bold, 🏔
A journey of contrasts, a beauty to behold.
Kashmir's embrace, where greenery dreams, 🍃⛰
Punjab's vibrant hues, where culture streams. 🌈
Now, Rajasthan's sandy dance in sunbeams, ☀
Incredible India, in every heartbeat gleams.
From the chilly whispers to the desert's heat, 🔥
A symphony of landscapes, oh, what a feat!
In every step, a different world to greet,
Looking forward to what India offers more, a promise sweet. 🌟
The present unwraps, with tales replete,
Incredible India, in each moment, a new heartbeat. 💓
Best wishes poet
Lovely!
You deserve more likes for your poem.❤
OMG as an Indian i can't believe that Jaisalmer is so amazing like this. I never visited Jaisalmer and any other desert city bcz I have skin issue. Believe me dear i view so many videos and vlogs but not a single one show Jaisalmer like this, they always visit desert and show some cultural program and stay in desert or food.
Thanks a lot dear such an amazing girl you are.
Absolutely aMAZEing! Thanks Noraly for taking us along!
The more places in world you go the more places I want to go! You sure seem happy in India. Never would have made my list but now I so want to visit. Thanks for opening so many eyes to the beauty every Country seems to have.
Stay safe.
Knowing a bit of English has more to do with the numerous tourists that go to Rajasthan. It is one of the most preferred destinations in India.
Noraly, So glad you are revisiting India. What a diverse and fascinating country. And as usual, you meet some wonderful, friendly people. Today’s video was especially interesting in the city of Jaisalmer. Love watching you weave your way through the narrow streets and alleys. Amazing video. Cheers and ride safe. Dan ✌️🏍🇨🇦
♥️🇮🇳
In this time of friction between cultures it is nice to see such a welcoming and accepting people. The Indian way of life is very different from the west but does not seem incompatible as others do.
I think it’s because there is no homogeneity in India. People are just used to living and letting others live without imposing themselves on others.
@@shantanushekharsjunerft9783absolutely 💯 % agreed 👍 👏 👌
Wauw India is so beautiful! What an amazing place and the fort is so big. Definitely a place I wanna visit in future.
The way you lead us around is lovely. The place where you spend the night was really pretty ❤
So wonderful you are in India!!! Enjoy Noraly and stay safe ❤
You are very courageous lady and very few are the women who are courageous like you.God bless you abundantly.
Not only is this THE BEST travelvlog but also THE BEST moto vlog & the best overall UA-cam channel out there. I recommend this to everyone from all backgrounds.
So many bikes! Noraly really seemed to be in her natural element in this episode. Amazing how comfortable she appears riding on the opposite side of the road in that chaos. Awesome.
That was a fantastic video, all the sights and sounds, chaos and culture compressed into 20 minutes. We can see that you are truly at home in India.
Definitely one of my all time favourite episodes. Very diverse in it’s subject matter. 🤩
Bike looks ideal for this trip - fascinating to see parts of India off the regular tourist trails
The architecture is unreal. Makes you wonder how they built this 1000 years ago with no power tools. Thanks for sharing!
The temples in the Jaisalmer City is even more impressive. People still build these structures.
They still use the same methods today. Lots of people and many hands.
Now that's a really exotic and beautiful fort Noraly. Your adventurous spirit and personality just blows me away. It is such a pleasure to watch your videos. Lots of love from Gene in Tennessee.
What beautiful Architecture! Thanks for showing me India!
The Indian Bureau of Tourism would love this coverage. Its fantastic
Watching these Indian travels, surprisingly I find myself missing the traffic sounds of traveling India roads with a motorbike. While living there it often became overwhelming, but I now see the benefits to be greater than the annoyance of loud horns being seemingly wired to the brakes.
It is a really amazing city, with such intricate artwork everywhere.
I was waiting for her to fly off too!
It can still do more around 150 to 160 you just have to stretch it more on a free Highway
Cheers.
@@anthonysimoes7307 Do you know the service intervals for these three bikes?
Jaisalmer is a spectacular city. Love the intricate carving on the buildings and the fort is amazing. Once again you have managed to find something interesting to share with us. Thank you Norally.

The videos that make my life happy, thank you once again Noraly for such excellent work and allowing us to be part of your adventures, take care
On the sandy tracks, your riding skills show out. Well-learned in the Kalahari, Baja and Sahara deserts.
Always Best Wishes and Safe travels! 🙏💖🏍🤠
India is an amazing adventure of a destination. Beautiful people, sights, sounds and smells. Noraly is an amazing ambassador of good will. Stay safe, watch that uncooked food. Big thumbs up, what a journey
Loved the interesting variety within this video! People. Culture. Countryside. City life. Architecture. History. Animals. Colours, textures etc. So rich and enthralling. Amazing footage Noraly. Thank you for this epic armchair entertainment, showcasing India at its best!
Another adventure! I needed this today. Amazing country, amazing people.

The only channel I hit the like button before even seeing the video. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us Noraly 💚
Noraly is an adventure to follow. Genuine human interacting with our planet and species🙏🏻🇨🇦
This is such a great episode give us a really good in-depth idea what some of the Indian cities look like and how they put them together. With the great architecture that is there!! Really great Video shots of the city and this Castle. Thanks soooo much!!
Quel plaisir de vous suivre le bonjour de la France ❤
It's still amazing navigating around all kinds of crazy traffic and narrow streets...great job Noraly...
Wow, India is incredibly cool, but the cities seem so hectic! Great video series, Noraly, and such a great city to explore.
Noraly you are amazing!! In one episode you tested the Himalayan on fast highway, desert sands and dense urban twisty streets!! You are the perfect road tester.
Noraly, you certainly know the best places to visit. I have a feeling that your ‘down time’ is anything but that. Surely you spend much time researching these locations before you arrive. Well, all I can say is that it’s much appreciated. To see the treasures of foreign lands through your eyes is truly a treat like no other. Since following your videos my outlook on the world has changed drastically. You are just wonderful, thank you so much…❤❤❤Rick
You're a joy to watch, Noraly! You are having so much fun and your attitude certainly brings joy to many of us who are taggng along. Thank you!!! On UA-cam yesterday I watched an Indian rider on a highway take the new 452 up to 151 km/ hr! Impressive! ❤
The motorcycle is but a tool to take you to such fascinating locals. I do love the R. E. Himalayan
Loved the tour through Jaisalmer! Your respect for the bike shows the depth of your character.❤
So wonderful to see this video. We have traveled to this area a few years ago, and visited the Fort - so much fun to see it again! Loved your riding through the maze of streets - the houses are indeed beautiful!
