And besides all that you are beautiful inside and out I believe. Will continue to follow your adventures, and stay safe.
I'm still not convinced that the wires were cut, to me they looked more like they were torn out, perhaps by the tow strap when they left it and the hook got caught? Also, I don't believe the thieves were that sophisticated, it was a very amateur theft.
@@johngreydanus2033 Looked a pretty clean cut to me though makes little sense for a common thief wanting the bike. Maybe someone wanted to slow her down. Kudos to the bike builder who foresaw the need for a basic backup wiring system to keep the engine running.

When the receptionist at the hotel in Erbil wanted to call his own manager instead of the police, I wanted to run out the door and chase the air tag. Your management of stress, your calmness in going to the street where the air tag signal came from, and your running when you first saw Frankie. made me feel much more exciting than any Netflix show.
OMG! The secondhand proud dad moment I had when you put her back together and she started and THAT smile! After fending off all the “help”. Going through the procedures and getting her started was simply glorious!!! 😎👍
that time noraly refused the help of Iraqis at the hotel shown how Noraly doubted the people there in fact she wanted to leave the "chaotic" place asap. The impact of the stupidity of the thieves did not only affected Noraly but likewise disgraced the image of Iraq people. As for me i will not dare to visit Iraq whose people i cannot trust. Take care Nora watching you from Brooke's Point, Palawan
@@JoelSiaton Nothing compared to the bike thieves of London or UK. Frankie would be long gone. Thieves likely parked it expecting a tracker to see if the owner would find it.
Sometimes when watching your adventures I get that restless feeling to go chasing horizons like when I was younger... but then I see that cute kitty wandering around your motorcycle, and I look down at my own happy, content cat purring and nuzzling my nose as I watch the video, and I get to thinking I'm pretty lucky having such a peaceful life filled with love, and that after awhile it has to get exhausting always being out on the road and dealing with hurdles like this all alone, under the weather and far from the comforts of home. I admire your courage, resourcefulness and resilience, Noraly, the traveling life must feel very rough when it gets like this, I hope it's smooth sailing from here on out.
Glad you dialed back to tell you are doing well and feeling better. To all of us watching this, Noraly's videos are excellent reference about what different types of stress are. When you are stressed trying to achieve something, the body is much more healthier with that stress and you can see that from Noraly's face too. She is always smiling and positive even in the most difficult driving conditions. And when the stress is the negative time like the damage to bike, the health suffers. Just give yourself time and try recovering first from any sort of loss you had in life. The health will improve as you over come.
Your fight and your drive to continue in the face of adversity is truly inspiring to me in my own struggles in life. I just want to say Thank you, keep being you, and keep on going. We love you so much.
So you're in a foreign country where you don't know anyone and somebody steals your bike. They not only steal it but drop it, and cut all your power wires. What do you do? You fix it and move on and that's one of the many reasons I subscribe to this channel. Pure perseverance, can do attitude.

Hi Norali! I just wanted to let you know your story is trending on the news here in Kurdistan! They showcased your video to the millions of people here on one of the most famous news channels! And with that, they also caught the thieves as well! I’m really sorry for that unlucky encounter and I hope you don’t judge all us Kurds based on those 2 jerks, thanks for visiting!
@ yea it’s on the most famous news channel in the entire country, vehicle thieves aren’t really common in Kurdistan, and Dutch/Eu citizens make up the highest percentage of tourist identity and even some citizens here in Kurdistan/north Iraq, even most my relatives currently live in eu and holland, so it was really unfortunate that it happened to her and the whole community and police were desperate to catch the thieves
I have been following this youtuber, a female motorcyclist who actually travels around the world, since her first trips in India, South America, Africa and Alaska. It's been maybe more than 3-4 years, I'm not sure... As a motorcyclist and a user, I admire her and on the other hand I envy her.. Of course, her trips... The thing I like the most is that as a modern-day traveler, she loves nature, being in nature and of course riding a motorcycle alone in nature to the point of devotion. Another thing I like about her the most is the way she overcomes the events she encounters and almost never falls into despair. I hope she stays as smiling and healthy as she has been in the future. God bless her!
Love your tenacity, Noraly. Just one of the many reasons why you're so successful. It's so fun to see the world through your eyes. Thanks for sharing an area that most of us won't have the opportunity to see. ❤️
Knowing what to do, having the tools, with the constant politeness of people coming up to offer help, AND whilst in that mind state. You are a saint of patience Noraly. You're built different.
Amid the chaos of fixing her bike and trying to leave Erbil, Noraly still finds a moment to show love to a sweet kitty. What a kind soul she is ❤ I hope the next few days you and Frankie get some well deserved TLC!!
There's been a lot of negativity in Dutch media and the socials, about Noraly riding alone in Iraq. Saying she's naive and stuff. But this video shows once again Noraly is much tougher than most people realize. If she has a problem, she'll simply fix it. This woman is unstoppable.
It's not her toughness that's in doubt. There have been quite a few Western tourists taken into custody at the Iranian border, calling them "spies". She has an amazing amount of resiliency but one day, with the chances she's taking, her luck will run out.
Overdrijven is een kunst … there was one single article in the Dutch mainstream media - in De Telegraaf three days ago. A rather informative, objective account of what we saw in Noraly’s video. No negativity AT ALL. So please don’t represent our media in a negative way. I don’t check socials, since the opinions on there are of couch potatoes with nothing better to do than ventilate negativity. Like your statement “there’s been a lot of negativity in Dutch media”, which isn’t true at all.
I admire your fortitude and spirit Itchy! You seem to have an endless amount of patience that this world could use too. Your smiling face makes my day! Thank you!
Dear Noraly, in your story there is the purest epic poetry of the motorcyclist and her bike, crossing this world together, in this time, in this space. We love you.
Hi Noraly from the east coast of the U.S. When I see you facing obstacles trying their best to try and stop in your tracks all I can picture is the old phrase "When the going gets tough, the tough get going!" You are so very talented in figuring out issues and how to conquer them so they don't ruin your day, stay well and focused in all of your travels. 🥰
Hey Brave Lady. I wish I could give you a big warm hug to just lessen the leap of pain, which you had to go through, which I can only imagine. God forbid if this ever happens to me I would simply cry out. Lady just remember one thing, what you have done or is doing is not something even me as a man can do. Meaning you are such a stong lady and a true mentor to me. Simple thumbs up n like is not enough to appreciate or put fuel into the recognition or honour you truly deserve. BIG BIG HUGS AND APPRETIATION TO YOU BRAVE LADY
I've never seen you smile more sincerely than when Frankie fired up. Your face went from concerned to elated in about 2 frames!! It's always good to see that patented smile of yours. Thank you so much for sharing this, Noraly! Always praying for your safety!
The thrill of victory 10:50. Big smile on my face seeing the way you handled the problem. Respect! Know the feeling well. I ride a 75 year old bike and many times I've had to remove helment and jacket after kicking guts out getting overheated in front of an audience. Beautiful accomodation you found. So happy for you! Thank you for another video Noraly. Ride Safe, Peace!❤❤❤
Man, the positive mindset that you have should be an example to everyone. I once had a loose wiring on my bike which made it so that it didn't start. Even before I could even analyse the problem, I went all doom and gloom and wasted so much time just cursing and feeling down before just calming down and fixing it. Honestly I don't know what I would have done if I was in your situation but you are just awesome!!
Noraly, you are truly an inspiration! Your journeys showcase your adventurous spirit but also your unwavering positivity and grace in the face of adversity. You embody the essence of courage and determination, proving that with the right mindset, anything is possible. Keep riding and inspiring, Noraly!
Never give up attitude, shame about the thieves but for every problem there is always a way to overcome it. For me the number 1 channel on youtube, each episode is never boring and keeps you glued to the screen, fantastic example of how to enjoy life. Well done noraly.
To stop it put it in a high gear, put on the brakes and let the clutch out to stop it....or put the front wheel against a wall etc then let the clutch out when in a higher gear ....slowly😉
Well done Noraly for keeping going despite Frankie not starting in the morning. I know that was probably a week away now, but honey is antibacterial and a good antidote for a sore throat (I'm a beekeeper and a biker). For the people suggesting Noraly is naive, that's BS, she has skills, her smile diffuses situations, her brain works things out..😊
Hi Noraly! As much as we wrote the past couples of episodes how easy life could be at timesfor a lady on the road, our heroine reminded us why we love her so much in the first place. I love this fierce, never-give-up attitude and when push comes to shove, she definitely masters all DIY tricks. Rain jacket and petrol bag gone? who cares! Cold ignition issues? So what! She just keeps going. We wish you all the best Noraly, and please also take care of your sore throat.
Hoi Noraly.

I'm glad you were able to sort the starting issues and hopefully your voice returns soon. I'm always impressed by how resourceful you are in all these situations. You're becoming a better and better moto-mechanic as you repair along the road. Bravo!
Zonnige groet, Paula
I just wanted to write the same. This way I even stopped 7ton Truck when the diesel pump wouldn't shut off. It's just like stalling your bike, so the risk of breaking something is near zero. I wish you all the best for your trip! You're awesome!
This can be done at short notice because the main cable to the ignition lock appears to have been cut off. The disadvantage of this method is that the ignition stays on and the ignition coil burns out over time. I wouldn't recommend this in the long term. All the best to Norally, you are an inspiration for the traveling motorcycle world. 👍👍👍Ah yes, I saw the sun shining at 10:50.😄😄😄
Always know it is Wed. or Sun. when your videos show up and make my day. Your calmness and resilience in the midst of troubles is astounding. Clear headed looking through tools, wires, connectors, to solve the starting problem while reassuring the men who want to help you that you have the tools and it isn't an oil problem. Such determination is a joy to watch nothing stops you or brings you down not cut wires or lost of your voice or stolen parts . Very strong and happy person.
A couple of episodes back, she stated that she had a flu which affected her voice. It didn't have a chance to heal before this, forcing her to over-use her voice before it recovered. Hopefully, she can rest it now and not have to shout where she is from to curious people standing too far away.
@@Volker_GR Right? It was interesting to see the security camera footage at Frankie's dump spot and arrest of the perps, knowing that it happened way before we even knew about it. Noraly in my view from watching her UA-cam videos has “sisu”, which is a Finnish term that I feel she has illustrated many times by taking actions that make many of her UA-cam videos viewers and channel supporters feeling such emotions as anxiousness and worry, etc., for her; Sisu, at it’s core meaning from what I’ve read, embodies determination, courage, and resilience; It’s the ability to persevere in the face of adversity, to confront challenges with tenacity, and to keep going even when the going gets tough, and as far as I am concerned she has demonstrated this many times in her UA-cam videos and I have much respects and admiration for this young lady and her passion of travel which she shares with us through her UA-cam Channe whichl helps those of us that enjoy such content. By the many comments of her UA-cam videos I see that she’s loved by many and I’m certainly one of them. Continued safe travels Noraly, I look forward to more of your videos to come, Happy New Year all the best to you and your loved ones in 2025.
Next time you need to bend the gear change, try this. Using your longest spanner, hold it with the open end upwards then move it so that the rubber part of the gear change pokes through the ring end. Lower the spanner onto the rubber then rock the spanner towards yourself so that the top part of the ring is on the top outer part of the rubber and the bottom part of the ring is on the bottom inner part of the rubber, now just lever the spanner towards yourself to remove the bend. This assumes the rubber was bent upwards (the most common problem). If it’s bent down just reverse the procedure. If this is how you did it, great but it didn’t look that way in the video. So glad you fixed her and got on your way, massive respect for your resolve.
No matter how hard it gets you get through, the smile when your bike starts is magical everything seems better. The world’s most interesting person rides again.

Well said
💝😇👏 words
I'm still not convinced that the wires were cut, to me they looked more like they were torn out, perhaps by the tow strap when they left it and the hook got caught? Also, I don't believe the thieves were that sophisticated, it was a very amateur theft.
@@johngreydanus2033it may have been staged.
@@johngreydanus2033 Looked a pretty clean cut to me though makes little sense for a common thief wanting the bike. Maybe someone wanted to slow her down.
Kudos to the bike builder who foresaw the need for a basic backup wiring system to keep the engine running.

It's wonderful to watch you deal with all the ordeal you go through with such calmness. You never seem to loose your cool and kindness. Stay safe and good luck on your journey!
Be that as it may, looking at that gives me bad vibes...
No GPS , No Electric connection in the bike, No Head Lights, No extra fuel bag, No rain coat, No proper throat today, No same luxury in riding Frankie.... But still Noraly is on the move.... She is unstoppable. ❤🎉.

You are amazing! When your bike ran on kickstarter, you looked at the camera and shared your joy and excitement with us, the expression on your face touched me so much that I shouted "you did it" along with you.
As an editor for 13 years you have a real talent at pairing footage with perfect music selections 15:29 "beautiful sequence". Like all your travel videography/documentary vlogs, I enjoyed the struggles early then to see you triumph smiling ear to ear in the end is priceless. I think everyone watching smiled at this point too.
Massive smile, haha. Felt a sense of pride I never thought I could feel for a stranger.
You go Noraly! You have such a positive attitude through all this. Keep smiling.
Lol.
Never thought I’d cheer out loud seeing someone kick start a bike but there we are. We’re all on this journey together!
Noraly I was a race mechanic for four years, 2 at international level. Often innovation is vital to success. I am in awe of you.
It would be great if Moritz gave her the wiring schematic for her bike.

that time noraly refused the help of Iraqis at the hotel shown how Noraly doubted the people there in fact she wanted to leave the "chaotic" place asap.
The smile on your face when Frankie burst into life said it all , safe travels Noraly.🤞

Respect!! Full respect!! Thank you Noraly for this new journey around the world.

"Erbil police arrest man for stealing Dutch UA-camr’s motorcycle" That is great.
That's awesome!

Man, the positive mindset that you have should be an example to everyone. I once had a loose wiring on my bike which made it so that it didn't start. Well done Noraly for keeping going despite Frankie not starting in the morning. I know that was probably a week away now, but honey is antibacterial and a good antidote for a sore throat (I'm a beekeeper and a biker).
For the people suggesting Noraly is naive, that's BS, she has skills, her smile diffuses situations, her brain works things out..😊
Make that about six weeks , considering the actual amount of lead time before this episode was aired , as deduced from a Dutch news source last week .

Hoi Noraly.

I just wanted to write the same. This way I even stopped 7ton Truck when the diesel pump wouldn't shut off. It's just like stalling your bike, so the risk of breaking something is near zero.

This can be done at short notice because the main cable to the ignition lock appears to have been cut off. The disadvantage of this method is that the ignition stays on and the ignition coil burns out over time. I wouldn't recommend this in the long term.
