@@SimRacingCorner no, i mean in game the wheel buttons show up as 0 through 12 and the shifter positions show up as 0-6 so when i map the shifter to gears, buttosn on the wheel will end up mapped as well. I did just find out i need to put the wheel in advanced mode and then i can use the dials separately but im still not sure how to make the shifter show up as anythignother than buttons 0-6. it always used to show up as gear 1 being button 13
@@dpounder101 Have you tested this in-game. That they actually overlap in use? And do try the test I mentioned regarding the game controller properties. btw, what game are you playing?
@@SimRacingCorner Sorry, I went in game last night after seeing this and found that though they say the same thing, they arent overlapping. I probably should have tried that first before getting alkl worried. :P thanks for the help. :)
@@dpounder101 No worries, my instinct was I didn't think you had a problem, so I was trying to make sure you properly tested it. Glad I could help out.👍
Do the buttons from G25/G27 shifter work as well? I'm buying that shifter for use with T300, I planned G25/27 because of all the buttons, but if someone checked and know that they doesn't work I'll just get G29's.
Yes the buttons work too.

Does the Driving Force Shifter/ G29 Shifter work with the G27 without any adaptor on PC?
No, some gears will not work
@@SimRacingCorner Thank you!
Hi thank yoi for this video.
Can you help if you have an idea about using the logitech shifter on ps4 with a thrustmaster steering wheel.
I have a drive hub and g25 shifter
I'm pretty sure this adaptor won't work with Drive Hub, but I'm no expert on that hardware.
I don’t have Logitech steering wheel pls help
buy one 💀💀☠☠☠☠☠☠
does it also work for xbox or playstation?
Is the website a safe website to buy from just wondering as I can get a bit sketched out when paying from different websites
Leo Bodnar is an established reliable company. Some of their high-end hardware is bought by professional racing teams.
@@SimRacingCorner Ok thanks
Will this work alongside my other steering wheel in the same setup?
Yes
Is this printer cable?
would this still work if i plugged the usb into a usb 4 port hub that i bought for extra usb slots?
It should be fine to use through a USB hub
for some reason i connect mine to all usb ports on my pc and it will not get recognized any help?
Try a different cable. Another thing to note, if I unplug the shifter from the adaptor, but leave the adaptor still plugged into my PC, the adaptor disconnects too. So it could be a faulty Logitech shifter, faulty adaptor, or the USB cable. Any one of these will prevent the PC recognising it.
@@SimRacingCorner wow lightning fast reply even on a video this old thank you, but i have tried 2 cables, i havent thought if it maybe being the shifter as it works while its connected to the logitech g29 base, but ill try another cable to see if it will work
Just good timing, I was on the channel doing some stuff. If the shifter works plugged into the G29, then I would expect it's the adaptor that's faulty by elimination. Ideally having another Logitech shifter to test it with would confirm that.
@@SimRacingCorner well back to trying another usb. It didnt work, so i guess it must be the adapter but as you said i dont have another shifter to try it with to see if its the shifter
