Stanley has always been on a level that most cannot comprehend, guitarists are just now beginning to make more popular his style he was doing 40 years ago!!!No one can really even come close to duplicating this master!!

That is so true. There are a handful of great players and they are impressive. But then there is Stanley. He is on a different plane.

I'm not sure Stanley will love that kind of action. Although maybe Jimmy acknowledged the greatness of Stanley's guitar skills. Isn't Jimmy Page is inspirator and idol for many world guitarists, including Stanley. Many guitarists want to be like Jimmy Page, other than become themselves. How ever, Stairway to Heaven is a masterpiece from Jimmy Page. So it feels inappropriate for a copycat to claim to be more powerful than his first creator. Moreover, Stanley Jordan is a very humble guitarist. You can see it from the interview with him on youtube. Both are great in their own league.

Arrangement? There's no arrangement dude. There's no sheet music. This is improv over a rock standard in the style of Stanley Jordan. Jordan was discovered as a NYC busker and The drummer is so prolific as a studio cat that he has his own beat named after him - The Purdie Shuffle.

Stanley is a mind-blowingly talented and original guitarist. Like, no kidding huh? But by his impossibly high standards this performance seems a little sloppy to me. He's flubbed quick a few notes and there's some buzzing with his left hand. Just not quite on his game this night I'd say.

Master at his tapping... But unbelievably sloppy at shredding in the "traditional sense". So for any of you saying "I could never play like that," keep in mind, it's clear that he spent his time and focus on one primary technique. Focus all your time on this style and you can come close... Maybe.
