So jealous you have the room to run prototype trains on prototype sorts of curves and through amazing scenery that you've created. It looks like a real Short line there are tracks everywhere because there isn't enough space to separate things properly. Beautiful! Thank you for sharing this.
One of the best model scenery layouts in On30 and for that matter, aside from a handful of HO premium layouts, anywhere else that I have come across. Worthy of the best Master Modeler for sure! Thank you for sharing a personalized tour of your dream ♥
Another layout that’s proof narrow gauge guys are just always on such another level when it comes to detail. I’ve got a coastal Texas layout set in the early 1900’s so I enjoy those harbor scenes. I have three bay wharfs, and one will have a boat or two in the scene itself.
I've seen so many layouts both in person and on UA-cam, that I'm rarely surprised. Impressed? Almost always. But rarely surprised. LOL.... color me equally surprised and Impressed on this one. This layout is a gem. A pure joy to look at. I could set up a lawn chair somewhere and just watch this layout all day. Excellent work sir!!
Absolutely wonderfully done. Years ago came very close to choosing On30. Was in the train store one day and noticed S scale right beside the On30. To me it looked like someone had made the S scale to run on HO track... So now I'm going to go with the S scale. I'm almost 80, grew up with American Flyer, so it just makes sense. To me anyway... Once again, congratulations on the superb job. It's definitely museum quality... Thanks for posting
Hello Steve very nice layout. I belive I bought your N scale L&N locomotives and rolling stock back in the 90's. Anyway glad to see your still in it same as I am. Hopefully next year people here in GA can go out and visit layouts again.
sorry to be so off topic but does anybody know a trick to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the account password. I love any tips you can give me.
@Jayce Jadiel I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and im trying it out now. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Awesome layout, love everything about it the history of it down to all the details and realism put into it. Youve done a amazing job and you brought it to life
Steve, Thank you for the tour of your layout - very interesting how you have been able to combine and compress so much detail and variety into every scene. Well done. I would like to feature your layout in a future issue of the NMRA British Region Roundhouse magazine, please contact me.
Brilliant layout, my only issue for a narrow gauge layout is that your track is too pristine and neat. Every sleeper is visible where on a real railroad it wouldn't be so neat and there would be ballast covering the sleepers. Also very scarce evidence of any weeds growing, maybe the track crew get them out before they grow
Great job Steve. The cowcatcher ride video was shot using a Mobius camera mounted on a flat car. The full length cowcatcher video is available at: ua-cam.com/video/Gcir8W3GYtA/v-deo.html
Hi all - I'm from New Zealand. Currently collecting bit's for a 0n30 build. 0n30 stuff really hard to come by down here, but do have someone ... in my town, that I'll be buying 2 loco's a rolling stock off. My question (new 0n30 - have done N and HO over 30 years ago), are 0 scale buildings passable? as I can get these, or will I have to re-scale them?
If there was such a thing as an instant mmr for an individual based solely on his/her layout I can't imagine a more deserving candidate than Steve here if he isn't already one.
Spectacular just doesn't sum up this beautiful layout. Fine, flowing track and more details than one can imagine. Thanks for letting us see your work.
Beautiful layout. The harbor is a real piece of art, as is the lumber mill.
Fantastic railroad!!
2:46 Something I never noticed on any other layout: a mailbox in front of a house. Awesome!
This is a gorgeous Layout. You have done a fine job of putting together realistic scenes that enhance the outstanding structures you have created.
This is no On30 layout, this is an On30 world 👍! One amazing job. Thank you for the video !
The details in all of these scenes is just really superb. Remarkable layout and video. Thanks.
That's amazing workmanship Steve.

Beautiful in every detail! One of the best I have seen. Love the creek area!
Hopefully I can once again see this layout in person during the 2021 Pilgrimage.
Thanks!
Beautiful layout, truly enjoyed the video.

Great stuff, Steve, as always! Thanks for sharing!
Dit is een schitterende baan. Zeer gedetailleerd en ontzettend mooi gemaakt. Grote Vakmanschap!!!
What a stunning looking layout, the details are phenomenal, very inspirational modelling skills. Thanks for sharing.

Ver nice layout.
How did you make your trees ?? I’m trying to remember what the trucks are I’m guessing mustard branches then you spray the tops and add flocking

wow
Very nice!
Where do you find rolling stock for on30?
I've been in On30 40 years. I know where to look. Many are Bachmamn On30, some are Banta, Stoney Creek Designs,
What are the two-bay hoppers behind the diesel? Are those S Gauge?
Kewl...

O scale buildigs are fine. Youy can widen HO wagons as an economical and fun way to add rolling stock at very little cost.
what DCC Sound id you use for the Mallets?
Very nice job. Great layout!
