Hi. Great to see your comment. When I was just starting fishing with my dad and then later, alone, it was always Brook trout, never saw a brown but certainly heard a lot about them. Realized I might be fishing in water that was too cold for them, 68oF and not the 72 that they can tolerate. And you’re right, I knew the browns were there, I just didn’t understand the stream well enough to get their interest. It took 3 seasons and many misses to start catching the fish you see in episode 4 from last year and Alfred’s 23” brown from 1 of the last videos, the 1 where I need help getting out of the muck! Anyway, Alfred and I are still trying to catch several biggies from that stream before the aquatic plant chokes the waterways. So keep on trying as it’s great to be outdoors and sounds like you’re pretty successful with what you’re doing! Again, thanks for your thoughts, they are appreciated.
