  • Well, it appears an early morning visit with my deer friend has become a regular occurrence. Both of us were in search of some good food. Said hellos and off I went.
I always have great expectations when I start my journey north. My name’s not Pip but i understand the feeling of what might become a reality when I get to the stream.
Depending on the weather, the trip down the farmer’s lane can be quite eventful. Getting back up, even more so.
I like to spend the time walking to the water and thinking about how I’ll approach the day’s fishing as water conditions could vary so keeping an open mind is good. And this stream gets clogged with early summer plant life making fishing challenging. Look at episode 4 from last year to see how lucky I was to catch a beauty, without a net even! Alfred and I are still looking for something similar this year although he did get a 23” brown last time up.
That’s when he pulled me out of the muck!
This is a beautiful place with great fish and today ended up a great day with a beauty brown, a few sightings for a future video and many specks. Idyllic day at the stream.
Thanks Alfred for putting the segments together, always fun to see the final version.
Hope you like our collective work!
    Cheers

Good day. Had to think about that question and then look at the car. I’m not in England. I was searching for the safest way down the slippery farmer’s lane and that was having my wheels on a grassy section on the left with the other 2 tires on the hump in the middle or close so I wouldn’t rip out the undercarriage. Was going to try the same spot soon so I’ll think about that when I go down that slope again! Thanks for the view. Cheers. brown trout guy
