    I just switched from my motif Luna to a zomee. Honestly, I love the zomee the best, and I’ve used the Luna for both my kiddos. The battery pack is a game changer for having a toddler with a newborn. And I like that the flanges are interchangeable with medela, making different flanges and parts easier to get your hands on, especially if you’re like a 21mm like me :)

      Thank you for sharing! Such great info to know! 🙌🏻
      And Zomee now has a wearable pump (the Zomee Fit) for mothers shopping for a pump to consider. I really like it. The suction is great and I love the look🥰
      My code works for all of their products if you purchase anything else from them and want a discount!

    would you consider this pump a "hospital grade pump". I am between the zomee z2 pump and spectra s2. I used my medela last baby and it sucked for me... it was painful regardless of the right size flanges.

      These are the two I’m in between right now! Which one did you choose??

    3:43 Massaging mode is the same as stimulation mode. These terms are used interchangeably, along with letdown mode. These all mean the same thing as they are fast speeds to try to stimulate your letdown. So most pumps have a massaging/stimulating/letdown mode then an expression mode. The Zomee Z2's modes are: Massaging, Expression, 2-phase. The 2-phase mode is what is unique with Zomee and what most other pumps don't have.

    I have been unable to find a comparison between the Lansinoh SignaturePro Double Electric Breast Pump and the Zomee Z2. I would be very interested in one. Thank you for this info video.

    I never used a breast pump so I’m clueless do I need a breast pump bra for it?

    • @birthingbalance
      @birthingbalance  Рік тому +2

      I would definitely utilize a pumping bra! Either the mom cozy, which is a nursing and pumping bra. Or you can take an old sports bra, cut holes where your nipples would be (large enough to fit the pump flanges that go on your breasts through them). That would make a DIY pumping bra!
      A bra helps hold the pump flanges and bottles in place so that you can keep your hands free and avoid pushing them into your breasts and causing issues like a clogged duct.
      And it’ll be best to have a few of them! So you could even get/do both of these options!
      If you’re interested in the pumping and nursing bra I mentioned, here is the link!: amzn.to/3GCgB8q
      This is also one of the nursing/pumping bras I have and is the most affordable one😊

      I’m so glad you find them helpful!!❣️ I really enjoy doing them since I’m a mother who has pumped before and a lactation consultant!
      So, both the Zomee Z2 and Spectra are rechargeable so you don’t have to be near an outlet to pump if it’s charged! Or are you talking about a wearable pump that doesn’t have the tubing?

    • @ArielleMarynn
      @ArielleMarynn Рік тому

      @@birthingbalance thank you for your reply! Im likely going to go with the elvie stride as we can’t get the zomee here in NZ, but was hoping you may know about any of the wearable ones without tubes! I want something that is convenient as Ill be in the office but I don’t want to sacrifice loosing my milk or not producing enough. Do you know anything about these?

    • @birthingbalance
      @birthingbalance  Рік тому

      @@ArielleMarynn I would love to receive one for a full review! But from mothers I have helped who used the Elvie Stride, they say it’s a good pump and generally don’t seem to have issues with the pump itself! I have heard it’s a good discreet pump too. Every pump can be different depending on the mama, but ensuring you have the correct flange size with any pump is a MUST! I have a course that goes into everything about breastfeeding and pumping from an attachment-parenting perspective that goes into this and so much more that is listed here if you’re interested:
      birthingbalance.com/the-balanced-breastfeeding-course/
      Another tip is to make sure you get a big enough bra so that the wearable pump isn’t pushing/tight on your breasts. That could cause clogged ducts which can lead to mastitis or other issues! I hope this helps❤️

      @@birthingbalance thank you soooooo much! With how expensive these things are it’s an absolute nightmare trying to decide what to do! I really appreciate your response and will definitely check out your course!! ❤️

      You’re welcome! Also, you can check out the Unimom Minuet and that one has a bit more suction power which I like! Unimom is the sister company to Zomee, so you can use my code katelyn20 for 20% of that one as well😊

    What do think about the Zomee in comparison to Motif Luna Battery

    • @birthingbalance
      @birthingbalance  Рік тому

      I haven’t had my hands on the Motif yet! However, the Zomee Z2 has a more gentle suction overall, quiet motor, and is lightweight and looks very nice.
      I have the new Zomee Fit wearable pump coming in the mail, so I’ll give a review for that either on UA-cam or my Instagram! (@katelynllauren)

      Another channel here on UA-cam just recently reviewed the newly modified Motif Luna. I think the channel is called New Little Life. It’s basically not the same as before.

    How do you wash the tubes?

    • @birthingbalance
      @birthingbalance  Рік тому +2

      You don’t need to wash the tubes because it’s a closed system, so breast milk doesn’t go through them! If needed though, you can use a wash cloth, pump wipe, or gently rinse with warm water 🙂
