    I’ve seen reviews that over time suction and milk output decrease and that it can be the case even after replacing parts. Would you say this is a good pump for an exclusive breastfeeding mom? And that it holds up well?

    Thank you for these videos!! I'm choosing my pump this week and these have been so helpful! Right now, I'm looking between this and the Ameda Mya. FTM and I love the idea of not being stuck on the couch to pump every time. Between the two would you still recommend the Lansinoh over the Ameda Mya?

    • @MommaAlia
      @MommaAlia  4 роки тому +2

      I personally respond a bit better to the Lansinoh but I like both! If you’re wanting something super portable the Mya would be better for that!

    Amazing review, I loved my Lansinoh pump when I was on my EP journey. If I have any more babies in the future I will buy the 2.0. Thank you for making these kinds of videos.💖

    What is the level of vibration on this pump? I'm looking for a pump that is looooow vibration--the higher vibration pumps were so irritating for me the first time around. Couldn't handle Spectra. Medela freestyle was better. Curious about trying the Lansinoh.

    Awesome! I used the original pump with my first and baby #2 is due in June. This pump is not currently available on the aeroflow website - does that mean it isn't covered by insurance yet? I'm hoping it will become available in the next few months (I would currently be able to get the original pump at no additional cost through insurance).

    How is the battery life and is this pump discreet enough to use when I return to work?

    • @MommaAlia
      @MommaAlia  3 роки тому

      It’ll depend on the batteries you use. I use Amazon Basics brand and they work great. I easily get several sessions worth. It’s definitely smaller and light so pretty easy to travel with and the noise is on the quieter side of other pumps around the same size! They are smaller pumps but they don’t offer quite as much setting wise!

    Sorry, I know this is off topic but how do you feel about the Haakka, or the silicone manual pumps? I have heard so many good things about them but I'm still a little weary. Have you ever tried them?

    • @MommaAlia
      @MommaAlia  4 роки тому +2

      The Haaka worked okay for me once my milk came in but I don’t really like it. I’m large cheated and it only further got in the way of everything. I much prefer a milk catcher that can be worn in the bra or something like the Booble on Amazon!

    • @yojs17_
      @yojs17_ 4 роки тому

      I have tried it for 2 pregnancies, I find it difficult to breast feed and use the pump because I’m trying to make sure the baby doesn’t kick it off. Also, in the middle of the night I’m not about to attach it just for a few ounces of foremilk.

    Have you ever used Pumpin Pals flanges? Do you know if they are compatible with the Lansinoh Smart Pump? I have used the Pumpin Pals with my Medela Sonata but have noticed I have to really turn up the settings when pumping with these flanges to actually express milk.

    • @MommaAlia
      @MommaAlia  3 роки тому

      I have used the flanges but never with my Lansinoh pump. I would consider emailing Lansinoh customer service and seeing if they know if they’re compatible! Or possibly reviews on Amazon? Sometimes people let you know how it fits on reviews. Hopefully you can find that info somewhere momma!💕

I’m using the madela symphony from the hospital but will have to give it back in few days. I’m debating between this pump or the madela Flex. Since I’m still exclusively breast pumping until baby will have enough energy to take the breast Which one should I ho with??

  • @lovas1196
    @lovas1196 4 роки тому

    I was hoping the 2.0 would be available through my insurance before I had baby #2 but it doesn’t appear to be the case. I have the original Lansinoh pump and loved it with #1. I pumped while at work for 1 year (30 min ish for an average of 3x per day). Do I get another Lansinoh original pump for $0 through my insurance? I also have the motif duo and luna available as free options through insurance. What do I do? It seems silly to shell out for a 2.0 when I have a free option through insurance. If I knew my current Lansinoh pump would be ok for another year, I’d probably get a motif duo because I drive a ton and am typically pumping on the road and that seems most portable. WWYD?! Love the channel!

    They both seem comparable, mya is slightly quieter, has more power; lansinoh has an app. Which one would you say is easier to use and has useful features. Any glaring difference among the two you can mention? Appreciate it.

    Hi Alia!
    I have been binge watching so many of your pump unboxing, pump reviews and how to use certain pump videos over the last 2 weeks. Thank you so much for sharing all of this information with us Moms and Mama's to be.
    I am 33 weeks with our second girl so I have been doing A LOT of research on pumps. My first pregnancy I had no idea there was so much to pumps. I just picked a brand I had seen and heard most about and it was an okay experience but the research I've done recently has shown me there a whole world out there surrounding all things pumps. I went into my search with an open mind. With that said I will be honest and say I never thought I would be strongly considering a Lansinoh pump. I knew them for their lanolin and milk bags haha I had no idea they had a pump. With all your videos and videos from Kimberly Ann I was able to narrow it down from 10 different pumps I have access to through insurance to 3.
    I was so excited when I learned I could get the original Smartpump through insurance! But I also really like some of the updates on the Smartpump 2.0.
    So my question is should I just go with the original Smartpump or should I go with the 2.0? Is there enough to set them apart to pay out of pocket for the 2.0 or are they so similar that getting the Smartpump through insurance would be the way to go?
    Again, Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with pumps and all sorts of different products, it has made this decision so much easier to make.

    • @MommaAlia

      Aw thank you momma❤️ I think we talked on Instagram! I would get the SmartPump for free through your insurance so you don’t have to pay out of pocket. If you don’t mind paying you could get both - one through insurance and the 2.0 through your own purchase!
