Love these little trucks, as a mechanic and enthusiast, these trucks just won’t die. Good luck to everyone entered into the giveaway
The instrument panel is badass! Fits the truck like a glove and is super readable! Amazing resto!
No need for a plane ticket, I'll just take it over on Desert Inn 🤗
Wicked truck 🛻 ❤
This is the truck giveaway I've been waiting for. Time to empty the piggy bank for some Hodson merch.
Alright this is way to clean, what a dream it would be to own a clean pickup like this !
This is so well done! I’m very excited to buy some t-shirts. My absolute dream truck! Thanks for keeping the 22R in it!
Such an awesome truck! My #1 favorite vehicle/truck! Love this truck soo RAD 💪 I’ve never entered one of these but I had to with this truck 💪🔥🔥 Good luck everyone🤞
Greta looking toyota
Yall did a great job on this truck. Hope this my new daily!
In 1982, I was 15 and working for McDonald's in Tulsa... My store manager had a Toyota pickup with same vinyl package. 👍
I'm a lucky Bastard in that I went down and bought a new SR-5 Short Bed in 82 for $10K and I have driven it ever since! Would love to have another one though!
This is the one I've been asking for for years, I need the win.
Amazing job as always guy's who ever win is getting a beautiful daily!
Awesome truck. Out of the last 3 small trucks, (ranger, Comanche, and this one) the Toyota is by far my favorite truck
No joke about that
I can’t wait to drive this home! I would love to win it.
Same here
This is so amazing. I'm 6'5" as well, but definitely have a soft spot for the old yotas!
These are such fantastic little trucks. I would be partial to the Comanche, but I grew up helping to work on a '79 Hilux. So this would feel right at home.
Love it! Nice Work!
Absolutely epic ❤
Sweet little ride..👍🏼
Well done . Can't wait to see it in my driveway !
Good luck , I’m hoping the same thing , guess you have to fly out to pick it up
Such a cool truck.
Nice rig
Well done
I had a 86' Shortbed almost like this one lifted a bit on 32's but it was painted Hunters Green w/ the 22R. (Needed more power)
The engine needs to be larger. That coolant hose under the left side exhaust manifold will get you in trouble & cause overheating thus a cracked head, etc. Like what happened to mine.
The 22RE or Fuel Injection is a better engine. You won't be towing with this one.
Mine did good the 3yrs I had it but didn't stand a chance to my 02' Blazer ZR2 that I bought in the Toyota's place. (Both cost me $3k at the time) over 300k on both & my Blazer is still running like new & getting 17mpg. Cold a/c, etc. Something I didn't have in the 86' Truck
Rear bumper was actually a factory extra on that truck that year. Crazy to think.
Love these little yotas
Australia will be go to for parts pal
Entered. Goodluck felllas
Man did this bloke swallow a tape recorder 😂gees he could talk the legs off a iron horse 😂
Nice
damn i Love this truck ... Slap some te37XT M-Spec wrapped in Toyo Open Country Mud terrains
Do you have a list of of all of the items you had to buy for this truck? Great work!
We’re did you get that radio from? Thanks.
My 1981 had std gauge dash cluster and plugged 1980 sr5 dash plugged right worked fine i tried 2wd and 4wd only difference was green 4wd light. Non power steering is ok unless perolel parking or tires any bigger or wider. Even 31x12.50 actually 31x10.50 on offset 15x10 you learn to hate it. A small little grant steering wheel will tear your thumbs off
What shocks did you use exactly for the pick up?
where did you get the decals??
Are the awesome pictures that you usually do on the build still coming to the website?
They're up already!
Great truck! Y’all did a great job with this classic! The only thing I’m doing if I win is taking all the California compliant crap off
And that's what we'd do if it was our truck! Probably would save up my money for a 2 barrel Holley sniper.
@@hodsonmotors Holley Sniper? Now that’s what I’m talking about! Great work guys I love watching your videos!
Never woulda thought of the California stuff that’s been put on it
I guess I will win this one, I am 6”5 😂. As a teenager I spent ours in a 83 and a 94 Toyota pickup. For some reason I still want to win it, my wife would take it from me anyway
Curious if this 1 will get over 40k entries like the last giveaway.
Make a ton off this little cheap truck
Would be better with a dshk mounted in the back
