i cant wait for the future of pcs
Awesome Vid once again.
I like the new Ace Ventura look.
Great video
Yooo man always love your video and I hope to build a pc one day and I would recommend a ryzen 77800x3d because of upgrade in the future and the performance
7800X3D is honestly the best choice. 5800X3D gets an honourable mention. Literally no reason to get a modern intel chip for gaming right now.
great build and vid as usual, have the non-super Gigabyte OC RTX 4080, amazing card, OC's like a champ, also the AIO is a bit more than 100pounds, around 200 actually, goes for 270US when click link, def hoping to get a new AIO in the future, become a fan of Gigabyte hardware, have 2xGPU's 4080, 3080 and a 31.5" 1440p 165hz Monitor from them, GG
I have the be quiet! Shadow Base 800 FX - Black. I love the case and it’s so quiet 😁
i loveeee this pc, looks good, great performance. just love it
Great vid as always. If I wanted to go for the 3DX what motherboard would you recommend?
Can u do a similar build in the tower 300?
Does 32 gb ram 7200Mhz CL 34 make sense in this configuration ?
I pretty much ordered this exact setup hours before seeing this video, but I went with the Asus ROG motherboard and 64gb of RAM. What score did it bench test at?
Hey there, great vid. , I was just wondering if there is an ASUS MB that is the same price range for this build as the Gig. one?
I own this case. Its expensive but the build quality is superb and the Silent Wings 4 are some of the best fans on the market. Great case.
As far as cases go, I found the diamond in the rough with the MSI Gungnir 120R. It looks sick! Very few youtube builds with it though. I absolutely love it. Maybe check it out? Love the channel.
love your videos, everything is so helpful and informative. also funny lol, mine and everyone elses soul left their bodies when you almost dropped the 4080super lmao
what monitor do you use for these videos?
Great viceo
A very nice build! I have a similar one: Intel I7-14700KF with 32gb Corsair ddr5 6000mhz. A 2tb ssd Kingston KC3000 Asus Tuf gaming RTX4080 Super, 850 Corsair platinum PSU, Corsair iCUE H150i elite capellix xt and a what older Corsair Crystal X570 rgb case that i will replace with a Corsair iCUE 5000x rgb case soon. Asus rog strix Z790-H
Very happy with my build and it runs very smooth. Main monitor 1440P 165 hz IPS Agon.
How much did it cost you?
sorry Editor Karl, we are in the same boat unfortunately
So the only diff between 4080 and 4090 is the max Ray tracing in 4k while having how many fps versus how many?
I wanna buy that type of a VGA so Is there any CW?
What an amazing coincidence! I just put my order in for almost the exact part list.
I'm upgrading to a 4080 super pc from my old, trusty gtx 960 laptop. I'm super excited, great video as usual!
Enjoy i have the 4080 non super and its a beast!
What is the difference between a 4080 super and 4080 TI? Or is that the same thing? Probably going to attempt building a PC for the first time.
@@DarthTheron there is no 4080 ti at time of recording. 4080 super is slightlu better than the normal 4080, with the real upgrade being a 200$ discount. It costs 1000$ instead of 1200%. I think you might have thought of the 4070, of which there's four versions: 4070, 4070 ti, 4070 super, 4070 ti super. In order of worse to better performance, they would be: 4070, 4070 super, 4070 ti, 4070 ti super. And since the prices aren't really that different I would go for the 4070 ti super.
@@teifan6674 ah yes, that's exactly it. I was confusing the two. Thank you for responding.
@@DarthTheron no problem 👍🏻
Great overview. Currently looking at building my first gaming pc and debating the 4080 super or the 4090
If you have the money, then the 4090 is the obvious choice but for two times lesser the cost, the 4080 Super is the best you can go for. It's the 100% worth it.
The only piece I have left to buy for my first PC is the ASUS TUF 4080 Super
I can’t wait
could you show the games running while streaming with obs and using restream for twitch and youtube at the same time?? as pretty much any pc can play those games without any real problems. 🙂
Will I have to update bios with this motherboard & cpu?
Would a 4080 super bottleneck a 5800x3d? I’ve currently got a 4070 stuck between buying a new graphics card or going with a new am5 cpu and ddr5?
I'm gonna build this and pair it with my Onn 1080i monitor. Thanks!
Please get 1440p😭 or even 4k
Why all those really high end parts just to play on 1080 anyway
Appreciate the F1 reference 😄
can you use liquid metal instead of thumal paste
Hey, Any chance you could build a pc with an Aorus B550 Elite V2? I'm building my 1st ever pc and I was told this is a great starter board
I'm building my new pc with that motherboard.
Got the 5700x3d chip
32g dd4 ram
Still going to use my old gtx 1070 till i can get some cash for 4080 super or something like that.
i just did a 14700k/4070ti build hope it end sup holding me over for at least a few years.
Should have went with the 7800X3D
What is the fps monitor you are using?
Can you put a 4070 ti super with a intel i5 on a b560 ds3h ac gigabyte motherboard with a nzxt 850 gold psu
W Case!!!
be quiet makes great cases, i love the shadowbase 800
What do you think about the Arctic liquid freezer III 420mm?
Testing it soon, the air cooler worked so good in intel with the plate
How much is it all in total to make it
Is 850 watts enough I tot 1000watt to be safe ? Any comments
Please try it with ryzen 7700x
Yo, currently saving for a new pc. Thinking of getting the i7 14700KF with a rtx 4060 ti. but saw that the newer motherboards are coming out by the end of the year, same with the new intel cpus, do you think it would be worth waiting for the new motherboards and cpus?
Bro don’t get the 4060ti it’s ass it’s equivalent to a rtx 3070 only a little bit faster DONT buy it get a rtx 4070 super atleast bro or 4070
appreciate the input @@KingPresleyXI
do you think we'd need a 4090 to get 240+ fps for a 240hz monitor at 1440p ?? for warzone 3 ?
I just bought mine and I was stuck between the msi suprim of gigabyte aorus
hot daum, that heatsink on the Gigabyte gpu.
This might be a stupid question, but can I add extra memory to this build? Either add two more memory cards or would the 64 gb of the same model of memory be compatible?
Yes, of course
i have 5600x + 3070ti. I mainly just play competitive Counter Strike 2. What should i buy? I read AMD GPU's aren't great for cs2. Anyone can confirm?
I have almost the exact same build 4080 super, 14700k except with asrock, which was primarily because I have used a motherboard in the past 2010's from them, my previous gigabyte motherboard did not last very long and had leaking transistors, this was during the early 2000's
Can this build fit a 4090? Or would I need a different motherboard or case?
it will fit. i can confirm the gigabyte oc 4080super is the same size as 4090 gaming oc from gigabyte. everything else remains same
I have this 14700k processor with a MOtherboard msi pro max z790 wifi I had to make modifications to the consumption due to the instability of the processor.-
What is the difference between AC and AX in gigabyte motherboards?
I’m pretty sure ac is wifi 5 compatible while ax is wifi 6
Just the wifi standard
cant wait for the rtx 5090 next year!! going from a gtx 1080 to a rtx 5090 is gonna be insane
When does it drop?
What program(s) does Karl use to edit your videos?
Resolve Studio
nice
what CPU would be better for gaming the i7 14700k or ryzen 7 7800x3d at 1440p
La 7 7800x3D
You put 2023 in the title, not 2024
your AIO block is tilted??
Whats yall thoughts on a msi codex r i5-13400f gaming desktop computer rtx 4060 16gb 1tb windows 11 for 1st pc comming from a ps5?
It will be a nice upgrade 😊
Just ordered 4080 super for my 7800x3d 😊
Where did you buy it from?
@@Deupmvxft very just out of stock sorry 😞
Excellent combo, im doing the same thing
What parts would you suggest if I want pc just for gaming. I want to use rtx4080 super and ryzen 7800X3D. Or do you have video for this type of build already?
That build is good just for gaming. Buy it. I have my first all white high end build I built last year with the gigabyte aero oc 4090/ 7800x3d/ 64 gigs of ddr5 in the white phanteks nv7 and I just game on my pc.
@MrAnimescrazy what motherboard are you using and would 32gb of ram be good enough?
@leroyjenkins9623 My pc is my profile picture. I am using the nzxt white b650e motherboard to fit with the white theme. Depending on how long you will have this pc and if your budget is high enough go with more then what you need. So a b650e or an x670e motherboard and yes 32 gigs of ram I would say is the bare minimum nowadays but if you will only game and do light productivity. I would go with 64 gigs of ram and get cl30 6000mhz ram but if not then 32 gigs of cl30 6000mhz ram.
That looks great 👌 I was thinking of going with the b650e taichi lite.
Amd gives better prices for pure gaming. People pick nvidia because they are also good with content creation and AI.
I want be quiet to do a chamber case
Can anyone tell me which monitor he is using
Monitor name plz
How much was this build?

2684 Pounds with VAT
2878 Dollars without Tax
I wish that you would show us the results using the native resolution raw performance instead of dlss, when using Nvidia cards. It would be more fair and will make it easier to compare between Nvidia cards and their AMD counterparts.. because you usually show the raw performance when reviewing AMD cards and then expirement with Fsr after.
Look at other channels for raw performance comparisons.
Fr, especially when he makes nearly 3 pcs per new gpu
Doesn't help AMD that they have the worst upscaler visually. Even Intel's looks better in side by side comparisons
If you are paying 1000+ dollar for a gpu, you need to know the raw performance first, then the upscalling capabilities. That's why only showing the benchmarks while using dlss, without showing the raw performance, is misleading, and its not different than what Nvidia does, when it shows side by side comparisons of 4070 against 3090, while using dlss and frame generation for the 4070 and then claim that the 4070 is 50% faster than the 3090.@@Shadowangel09
To what end? To give AMD a fighting chance because their upscaler is absolutely atrocious? They don’t deserve any pity or mercy. If DLSS was a niche feature that 99% of users did not use and 99% of developers ignored, then it would make sense to disable DLSS.
7900xtx please
In Alan wake wasnt that at 1920x1080 not 4k?
This is the exact build im going to be building for my first pc! In CAD$ its ginna cost like 4500 though so its going to take forever before i can get it but worth it forsure! Do u sell these pcs?
Haha same, i’m about to build a similar system with a 4080 super and 7800x3d. I’ve waited for 3 months to put all the money together and buy the parts, the last piece, the case just arrived the other day, only left to build it now.
I do need to buy a high end monitor too.
@@danidana221 yep the monitor i plan on gettings another 4-500 and i need a good controller cuz i play controller on warzone so gonna be expensive gonna take forever ta get it saved up😂
@@Jazofficial1 1000 for me lol, i plan on getting a lg c3 42 inch 😂
For controller i got a dualsense 5, for just 70 euros
I am in Canada as well also with an identical build. 4080 paired with a 14700k on a MSI Z790 Tomahawk mobo. Price totalled to just under $4000 CAD excluding tax. Price doesn't include my monitor though (Gigabyte M28U) since it's not part of the rig. Make sure you get at least a 144 hz 4k monitor if you're going with these specs to take full advantage of your PC's power. Good luck!
@@dizzyfist7 im an online game player and even on single player games i like it to feel smooth so i prioritize frames which is why i cant do console anymore, the monitor im getting to start is 1440 240 frames, the games i play i dont really want in 4k anyways but if i need an upgrade later i will forsure
I’m new to pc and I bought a pc from nzxt what’s your opinion on my build

Can you do a video on a PC that’s let’s play youtuber friendly?
A PC it’s great on streaming and gaming (games like God of war, Ratchet and clank and other games that use ray tracing)
I want to be able to see whats the best for this duo. I know it can be hard so I’m kinda looking for some insight.
I would grab the 7950x or an i7 / i9, then just pick the top end GPU you can :)
I really want to upgrade, so unsure, can anyone help?😅
Is there any video that can build the most cost effective intel i9 14900k machine with rtx 4080ti. Forget luxury.... Bang for buck with peak function without looking flashy like rgb or fancy fans.
question but umm...if everyone is saying the 7800x3d is such a beast and nothing can compare in its price range
and how op it is for gaming....why are people still using intel cpu's
genuine question too
like should it not be a duh moment to use amd instead then ? or am i missing something here that explains why they are still being used ?
just for karl man!
buy him a wifi plan
Does anyone know what program that he’s using to see his FPS/Latency in game?
Think it’s msi afterburner with river tuner statistics
Frameview or MSI afterburner
Marcus what Nvidia should have done is produce 4 different tiers of 40 series cards. EG 4090, 4090TI, 4090 super and 4090TI super.
I really like the look. I could never afford this pc, though 😢 mines quite old. I pay too much tax. I hate paying tax.
You could give it to me and cheer me up 😊😊😊
dancing rose
You activated my google lol
i would caution to new builders to pay attention here as the advertised speeds he is getting in 4k here are using DLSS. dont expect your 4080 super to push these numbers for fps without it. the only gpu than can kind of consistently do that is the 4090 currently.
If you dont use DLSS SR at 4K you are wasting free FPS
Great content as always. Just one minor gripe. You're British so it's Zed not Zee.
didn't know 4080 super was in 2023
🤣 fixed
it released january 31st 2024
you jinxed Max Verstappen's race at Australia..
WHAT A SHAME
@@PcCentricSad was had on Sunday...
looks like my 4790k & aorus 1080ti xtreme can compare...
No contact frame? Come on...
The 4080 cards are awesome I have a msi 4080 ventus i7 12700k 64gb vengance ram runs awesome have a samsung oddessy g7 monitor no fault what so ever some insane fps in games to call of duty 268 fps 🤪 rdrd2 199 to 205 fps people don't let the 16gb of vram in the 4080 put anyone off currently upgraded from a 3090 gpu
Spend more than $600 on a graphics card. And I had bad experiences with AMD some years back. So my build will probably be just under $3000. I’ll use an I9 and a 4070 Super.
Is this a good build for Roblox or Minecraft?
No, too graphically demanding
Verstappen catching strays in a pc building video 😭 (he deserves it)
CHECO PEREZ GANG
Team LH ✌️
bro 1% FPS shouldn't drop to 20 fps when avg 200+ with these specs, no?
It looks nice. But I think the parts are too expensive for what you get. Aesthetically it looks good though.
4 TB NVME SSD perfect example. Case's can be had that are just as good for far less. PSU overpriced. GPU, you could get a 7900XTX for nearly £200.00 less.
Plus I don't rate Gigabyte. Their GPU's have had cracking issues on the PCB's as recently as 2023.
(Dutch National Anthem playing.........)
"The ultimate gaming build"
"Yeah the 7800x3d is the best for gaming but you might want to do other things, so we're using intel"
That case has horrible negative airflow
call TONY
RTX 4080 Super future games at 4k will be limited by 16 VRAM. Not the best choice for 1000 $ (1000 €). RTX 4080 must have 32 GB VRAM and 512 bit...
Seriously, if I had the money for 4080 Super rather than 7800XT… I would definitely go Nvidia, hell a 4070Ti Super would do me just fine, but alas, I will stick with the 7800XT for now :)
But this build does look really good, I am a fan of both the traditional single tempered glass side panel AND the panoramic style wrap around glass look :)
7800xt is beast i will keep it for 2 to 3 years and then buy new pc
@@user-lz8gf7dg9z the whole idea of me building my own PC was so that I didn’t have to buy a complete new system every 3 - 4 years, my PC has just replaced a 4 year old laptop :)
