I've been running mostly Debian/Ubuntu and their flavors since 2010. Last year switched to Fedora Workstation and in my opinion it's much better thought of than Ubuntu, call me crazy but I can notice the difference how much snappier and quicker everything is.
I typically manage to end up with 3.5-4hrs. If you just lightly use it, and dim down the display, it will get to even more battery time. But as usually: It highly depends on your usage, and even your browser.
I have Windows on the same machine, and it typically gives me roughly the same times - probably like 15-20mins more, but that is to be expected, since Linux is not that optimized for Laptops as Windows is. I’m fine with the Linux stats, and in fact, the device runs way quieter on Linux than on Windows.
Loving this combination!
As soon as I can verify that MX Linux works with this laptop I will have one coming my way. Good video, thanks.

You say battery life is "appropriate". How many hours of document and web-based usage does that mean?

@@opentaq Thanks for the response. That's disappointing. Much less than the amount of time reported for Windows.
