I was just a couple days past my 11th birthday when this last episode aired and I still get chills when I see this final scene even now. They don't make 'em like this anymore.
I grew up watching this series. Best of all time. Nothing like it since and never will be again. I miss those days. Good news. You can stream the series now.
Miami Vice was and still is the best Police story ever, Crockett and Tubbs were the two coolest cats around and the music set the standards and gave a true feeling of the 80s. Bravo to the actors, and to all of the extras including the crew that developed MV into the best, we may never see the quality and drama this show gave us. MV forever, we will miss Zito, Switek, Gina, Trudy, Izzy, Noogie and Lt. Castillo. I’ve had the box set since it came out and am thankful for the memories.
Exciting finale, sad the series had to end but I gather it was better to end it on a relatively high note. One of the best cop shows ever on TV 👍

Before Peacock dropped Miami Vice, every time I watched the finale, I cried. It had to be very emotional for Don Johnson and PMT as well. I wonder how many takes it took for them to get through it? They were born to play Crockett and Tubbs and there will never be another show like Miami Vice ♥️

This was the era, the show that started it all! With the best music of the 80's, the stars making appearances, the fashionable clothes that created the style for then. The 80's was the best of it all!!! To bad it all had to go by so fast and end a great era....

I’m 22 and I came across this show from watching phil Collins videos and I’m thankful I did..The iconic legend pilot episode car scene and I was hooked ever since..got the boxset and this episode legit nearly put me in tears. The best duo ever to be seen, best friends after everything they’ve been through with romance, bust ups, deaths, accusations etc all to come to an end 😔. Hopefully if the reboot happens Vin will include the original cast as the film proved it isn’t Miami vice without THE Don and Philip and co👌🏼

I grew up with Miami vice and when I saw the free fall episode when Crockett and tubs threw there badges on the ground I knew Miami vice was coming to an end I hated to see this show go but I have collected alot of Miami stuff including the badge and a replica of Crockett gun and bunch of other Miami vice related stuff

John Williams In deed it is. My father was a big fan Miami Vice in the 1980's when I was born. As a teenager, he introduced me to it via VHS tapes and reruns on television, It is now one of my favorite television shows ever too.

I bought the box set several years ago and I have never regretted it. You have to have it if you loved this show.
I have the first season ,..need to buy another one ,..skips and pauses like I had been pausing it to get up and make a drink or something,...?

How else would've it ended? Vice became corrupt by the time they left, and all faith towards the justice system was lost.
It's sad, but the dirty politicians who run this country are no better than the drug lords in Central America..

@@Heyitzj0sh I think even Don Johnson by playing Crockett had come to the end of the character. See the development from the first episode season 1 to the last one season 5. There was nothing left to tell. He had given us all he had to give.It was time to bring the series to an end.
