I just started out in stop motion and I try to refrain from making a minifigure fly or throwing an object because I don't have access to editing right now, this helped a ton!! thanks!
I've never died, I've never tried, but one thing I have done is subscribed.
Awesome!!!
I have died tho lol
That was super cool 👍👍👍
lord knows I've tried
What the heck?!?
That's an interesting method I never thought of.
Thank you I am glad it was helpful!!!

@@abaebae2 Yeah!

This method is exactly what I'm thinking I'll do for my next project. I've put blue tacks and aluminium wire into my wishlist for some time now. I'm glad to see that the method can really works. Thank you for the video.
Wow really clever. I like stop motion, but I didn’t know how to do this. Then one day this video came into my recommended and I watched it. You, sir are a genius!
Thank you I’m so glad it helped!!!!!!
I knew about this but this had more detail
I never thought of it like that. I don't have much access to computer effects so thank you!

This channel is so underated, awesome tutorial, high quality animation. You deserve more subs (just subbed)
Thank you very much I appreciate it!!!
Another trick we used to use was a sheet of glass or acrylic. You can stick stuff onto it without the black stick, but take care, as the tacky putty marks must be cleaned off each frame. The result is like no other though.
Great tip!!!
Cant believe its been about 1 year since I first watched your videos. I am making a Stopmotion video right now but I also kind of avoided throwing something because I dont have the fancy technology to make something look like its flying. Now I can just get sticky tack and use that for my videos THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH
I have never done stop motion and don’t intend to, yet i still feel drawn to this video.
i'm new at stop motio, your channel is the honey pot i've been looking for. I don't want to learn masking yet so this is awesome
Thank you I’m glad you found it helpful! How are things going with stop motion for you?
Huh. This was interesting. I'm pretty fast with masking, but I can see why it might be nice to do this option. You make it look amazing. I can't see the stick at all. Thumbs up! Frutz wuz here.
Frutz LovesLegos thank you very much!!! I’d like to GET faster with masking lol. There are instances where masking is a better technique to use, but yes you’re right - what I show is a fast way of getting it done.
yeah im super good at masking supports because of practice
I saw this video in recommended and came to see it to get some ideas. Now I’m subscribed 🤣
This video was super helpful thank you I was trying to figure out how my minifigure was gonna throw a Molotov cocktail.
MY god thank you bro i always wanted it!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope it helps!!
When I want a car to be fast I think I do big skips? Am I right?

Love this advice! I've been considering doing stop motion with my Legos and have been looking for tricks that don't need editing all the time. I am definitely subscribing to check out more tips!
Good idea!, I now learned this technique from this video. I also found a lot of uses for sticky tack in my stop motion videos.
Good idea!
Thanks!!! 👍
Slime and pipecleaners have helped me achieve the effect, thank you!
Wow. This is really clever. Wonder why I haven’t thought of that. I thought he was going to place something to hold the dynamite on the floor and erase the object later.
Thank you very much! I usually try to do everything in camera if possible. Masking is incredibly useful and you can do just about anything with it, but there’s something cool about pulling it off without that. Plus it’s a time saver 😂👍
But he said without masking
dude he. said without editing
THANKS, ive been using a invisble wire with 2 studs on the end so i can put people on or objects and this is a WAYYYYY BETTER SOLUTION
I don't make stop motion, but have always been confused by how the mid-air shot were done
Green screen
@@Etiz no
most of the time its masking
VERY good video sir. By the way, you can do this easier with that great set you built: tip it onto its back and shoot down from above (the back wall being the bottom of the set) so that your stick with the thrown object can stand straight up vertically. That will let gravity work for you, and you might be able to light from above to eliminate that stick shadow:)
Yes! That's a great technique as well! I don't have a tripod that can do that shot, though. What tripod are you using? I could use an upgrade!
ive thought of this before but thought it sounded kind of far fetched good to know it works
That's amazing. I love simple yet effective tips.
Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦

Grab a wire and put it on the object/figure and hold it like it's floating
You can’t even see the shadow while the footage is playing, nice job I used this technique in one of my videos

Why would parents mind buying it?
Parents sometimes don’t want you to buy stuff without their permission .
Thank you This was REALLY Helpful👍👍👍

That’s pretty cool. On the iPad though with stop motion studio there is a tool called erase.
Yes! I love that app! I still use it! The érase tool is so cool... I love how all the tools are included in that app. Definitely worth the price!
@@Brickology That Spanish autocorrector tho
Ya it's really nice the app
Is that pro?
Cost money tho
Wow! I’m really glad you showed up on my recommendation I never thought of this! This is amazing!
Thanks Thomas your trick worked really good
That's interesting now I can make lego stop motion
The sticky tack is on the level of Duct tape - I use it for marking the area that is in-shot so I don't move out of frame when I'm filming my hands or something. Very useful. I really like how you've used the object itself to hide the pin - great use of the camera angle! Wonderful! Thanks a lot for sharing this and keep up the good work :-)
Thank you always for the support and encouragement!!!! Building a youtube channel is a lot of work and your channel definitely inspires me! The tacky putty has so many uses for LEGO people! I think the one thing I DON'T use it for is to put up posters on the wall LOL
Brickology ha ha ha :-D it’s true!
This is an awesome tutorial thank you - going to give this a try
Never thought of this. I usually animate pretty far away from background items of any, I’ll keep this in mind. 😄
Thank you. I figured this was how it was done but I wanted to confirm it before I tried it. Plus I feel this would be easier than editing out the thing keeping it up.
Thanks this was a lot of help
Thank you I’m so glad the video helped you!
thanks so much.i never thought of this
