The trick to easily and safely remove the top plate with the buttons on it is, after removing the two screws in the rear, gently lift the rear of the plate and then push the top plate towards the back of the machine. If you do it the brute force way shown in the video, you will likely break the small plastic fingers that engage the front of the plate to inside of the plastic body structure and it will not go back together securely unless you effect another type of repair to do so.
Thank you for this video that help me to repair my Delonghi EC685. For mine, it was the Flow Meter the problem. I bought one on Amazon for 13 Euros, I replaced it and now all is fine.
Igor, thank you so much, just wanted to let you know of another success!! Had to make a few trips to the hardware store for the torx screw and hose clamp, but it worked! A note for others, my new Anti-Drip valve came with the O-ring already in it. Also, Thanks to Adam for the heads up on the lid tabs- I was able not to break them!
Thanks for this, Igor. It gave me the confidence to attempt the replacement of both pump and valve. Sadly, the fault remained - which was not lack of pressure but inability to pump through the coffee filter. Turned out the filter was blocked and needed cleaning, which I only discovered after four hours of work on it. Also, the UK versions are a slightly modified design with earthing (grounding) ties, which makes removing and replacing the mechanism from the main housing a bit more fiddly. You don't need a Torx-head screwdriver; I managed with a small straight-head screwdriver. Thanks again, Igor.
Thanks for your feedback Kevin. If you meant the portafilter getting blocked, then this is the first thing I usually check. There’s a small opening right in the center that gets blocked by the coffee at least once a year for me. I just use a needle to clean it. Yes, the European version is slightly different
@@IgorKadulenkov Thanks Igor. Strangely, the pressure still seems to be low. I wonder, is there anything else that might need looking at? Circuit board perhaps?

I've just made a start on mine due to the same issue. £30 in the UK for the parts from Amazon. I'd like to note that there have been some slight design changes / upgrades. The top red pipe which in videos appears to be a one time use clip is now a compression clip you can squeeze and re use which is nice. Inside the 3 pin plug below the pump is now actually covered with a conical rubber housing. I guess to prevent any water damage to that socket I imagine there must have been warranty issues on past models which steered these slight design changes. Anywho... Thanks for the video I've watched it several times throughout the process.
Many thanks Igor, you gave me the courage to replace the valve after my machine lost pressure after about 3.5 years of daily use. I initially thought it would be the pump but your explanation as well as in similar videos and seeing the little rubber stent in the valve worn away made it pretty clear what needed replacing.

I had the same problem, nearly no water or absolutely no water coming out the "furnace", but the steamer was working OK ( steam and hot water coming out ). So I knew the problem is not the water pump, but the Anti Drip Pressure Valve ( little white plastic part ). Don´t forget to get out the little black rubber ring from the old one and replace it to the new one! And don´t be afraid, its not that hard to repair.

Hi there! I'm planning to remove the water tank and connect the coffee maker to the pipe directly. I was planning to use a flow pressure reduction, like the fridge use. After the reductor, i wanna install a carbon filter. My question is: May I connect the water to the flow meter directly? Should I make a loop and connect the tube 3 to the pipe? Thanks in advance!
First off thank you very much for the walk through on taking it apart and your tips!! I'm thinking I have a faulty pressure valve. My problem is I had zero brewing pressure (the motor even sounded muffled, but was loud, normal sounding when I turned on the steam wand) I gave it a good cleaning and the motor sound returned to normal but the brewing flow was very low. I ran a descalling on it, it helped but now I have water coming out the steam wand eventhough it is off and back to almost no brewing flow. I'm going to start w/ the pressure valve. If anyone know's the actual problem I would be thrilled to hear your feedback!! This machine is only about 2 yrs old and I'm very sad that it's turned into a waste of $300.
Thank you! It sounds like the faulty pressure valve. Mine was loud and produced no pressure. If there's any way to see if it's pushing water back into water reservoir, it would prove the point. But it's cheap to find out by swapping the valve. For the water coming out of steam nozzle - you might also have the faulty steam valve.
A bit late, but it might be the the boiler-generator (see 00:30 for the parts). It was completely clogged with sand to the point that there was nowhere for the water to go. Cleaned it with a small screwdriver and needle.
Hello Igor! Great video!!! Thank you so much for the great instructions. I have a question: Im currently experiencing LOW PRESSURE within the steam wand. Sometimes the machine pauses itself(flashing buttons light) in the middle of steaming milk. If I replace the OPV only, do you think this might solve the low pressure steam?
Thanks for the video. Very good instructions. I have a leak somewhere inside coffee machine and I can’t figure it out. Looks like around pump area. Do you have any idea what it might be?
Hi Tom. I've been following your skill on how to fix my Delonghi Dedica coffee machine. I lately have had an issue that the steam wand leaks when the pump is running. Do you have any suggestions on what is going wrong? Thanks. Addy
It would also be good to know where to find a replacement for the one-time-use pex crimp clamps which is approx. 3/8" inch. Once you remove these hose clamps, you will spend the next 3 days driving to dozens of hardware and automotive stores trying to find something similar.
Hi, nice video. I have a question: does the OPV make the flow meter inaccurate? It is measuring the water to the group head plus the water to the reservoir when the pressure overcomes the OPV.
Awesome Video Igor, save me lots of money. The only thing I would mention is that the base of my machine had T20 star torque screws and it took a while to find a bit that worked.
Do you know how to fix if the portafilter opening itself during brewing. It will moving and then sudden pressure bursting out. Tried changing silicone gasket and coarsen the grind but still the same.
Useful video, thanks. I tried replacing both the water pump and the valve on my EC685M, but it didn't work. Finally I was looking around and I found out that the boiler-generator was completely clogged with sand to the point that there was nowhere for the water to go. I cleaned it as much as I could and then ran water with vinegar though the system 20-30 times (initially the descaling process didn't work, i.e. water wasn't being expelled through the steam wand after the firs 2 minutes). Now it seems to me that everything works alright apart from some driping coffee even 2-3 minutes after the espresso process has ended, plus a pulsating pump while using the steam. Are these 2 normal, or is there something I can do? LE Drip issue has been solved by readjusting the spring in the 3 Way Valve (round side up; spring side down, towards the coffee pod)
Hi. Thank you for this. Im figuring out the problem with my dedica, it seems that it is pumping however after a while it just stops. Thought it was programmed timer that is wrong however even if i hold the buttons, it does stop. But after a failed attempt, when i again press the button, it does proceed now normally.. and is so annoying if i kept doing this. I think theres a problem here. this was just 3 months old.. I suspect it was a too fine grind, or a different bean however if i grind a little coarser, the flow is too much.. Is this also a valve problem? Or a pump failure?
Thank you for the video. I have replaced the pump and valve with new ones. However water is still not going out, neither through the milk frother or the coffee brewer. Also, I have checked the three-way valve above the coffee brewer and the frother valve, they seem to be okay. Water also seems to reach the end of the outlet water boiler hose. Does anyone have any ideas what else could be causing the issue.
Hi Igor, I replaced the valve and the pump thanks to your video but still no water is coming out neither of the brew group nor the steam wand. The pump does make a sound and there are tiny drops of water coming out after like 15 minutes or so but that's it. So you have any idea what the problem might be?
My unit started doing this after 6 months of use. Steam is still fine but none or hardly any water coming out to the espresso basket. I'm not going to send it away. It will be forever before receiving it. Thanks for the video. I guess you recommend replacing both since its hard to know which one has failed?
Could also be the drip valve, the easiest to check. Just unscrew the bolts holding drip assembly and check the valve and spring. Some people had to slightly unfasten it to make it work, because it was too tight. But otherwise, judging off the comments, usually it is the pressure valve going bad, not the pump
Great video. Do you think the pump could be replaced withe a lower power one? I would like to decrease the pressure from 15 bars to 9 bars (like all the proper espresso machines) I thinks there is no over pressure valve that could do this without changing the pump. I am not sure if changing the pump will affect the steam pressure as well?....
Hello, you can definitely try, there’s a small valve with a spring at the drip opening, which lets the water go through when the pressure is at certain level. There’s a small chance it would stop opening with lower power pump. I think steamer should be fine as the pressure is not as high there
I have measured my basket pressure at 6 Bars. Looking at the back i see no backflushing, so my assumption is the pump isn’t getting enough pressure to actually get to a level that the opv is flushing water back in the tank. Is this correct?
Thanks for such a great tutorial, I'm trying to fix mine, sometimes drips the right amount of water and others it's completely powerless and doesn't drip any water, what do you think is the problem?
Thanks, David! I am not sure if the anti drip valve could be malfunctioning intermittently or just break like my did. It sounds like it could be the water pump. Does it change how it sounds when it stops dripping? But really, could be any of the two. Good news is repair is cheap.
Hard to tell, it could be either one. I have my old pump, which is still good, laying around. If you're in the US, I can ship it to you for free. If you want, shoot me an email - igor@kadulenkov.com. Otherwise, I would start with the valve as it's cheaper.
Hi dear Igor. My delonghi dedica can brew espresso, but there is really low pressure on the steam wand. I opened the machine and I guess the pump is fine. do you think replacing the anti drip valve can fix this issue in my case?
Tip: If you are having drip after the water was released and you hear whistling sound from water pipes, then you have probably turned the mushroom spring thingy the wrong way inside of the 3-way valve. The head part is going up and the spring is going on the plastic base.
Hi Igor, could you tell me why the pre-infusion no longer works? I even changed the motherboard, opv filter, pump, boiler, could you help me, it no longer does the preinfusion
I'm not sure what my issue is with my machine. When I want to use the steaming Wand, the steam comes out of the group head and not the steaming want. I took the machine apart and the steaming Wand is not in any way blocked. Any tips? Pipes looks clear as well

Thanks for your video! Amazing!. Let me share the problem that I have with my machine: when I’m preparing my coffee pushing the bottom for one shot the machine is serving me the coffee but suddenly the machine stop and the 3 LEDs start to blinking and after 2 seconds more or less , the machine is ready to serving coffee again , but when I try again the same problem happens. I have tried to test warm milk with the steam, and the steams comes out but after 4 seconds the 3 LEDs start blinking again and after 3 seconds only remains blinking the LED for one cup and the LED for 2 cups
Check the water Flow Meter. Sometimes you just to flush water through the machine using the following method: 1. Press left button while starting the machine. All three buttons while have the light on. 2. Press left and right buttons at the same time. Keep them pressed. This way water comes out. You can also open the vapor valve while doing this to clean that side of the circuit. Use at least 3 full tanks of water for this process. 3. If it worked, your machine should work now. If not, you need to open it and either manually clean the flow meter or replace it. Hope that helps, I fixed my machine that way
Hi Igor, Many thanks for sharing this video, it has been a saviour! Our machine kept stop brewing and steaming with three flashing lights and wasn't quite sure whether it was the motor or the anti-drip valve so went on to replace both. As a complete novice for this kind of repair it took me about two hours to replace them and it has been working perfectly ever since. Couple of watchouts: 1) When removing the top lid it needs to be slid towards the back to avoid snapping the tabs like explained here: ua-cam.com/video/baVoeQNHkqU/v-deo.html 2) Not sure if it's specific to the European/UK version but I had 3 grounding connectors to detach that connect the inner assembly to the outer chassis, two on top and one at the bottom. 3) The pins of the On/Off switch looked a bit fragile and needed a lot of attention to avoid damaging them when removing the inner assembly. The video is really-really helpful, thanks for creating it!
Hi Ádám, when you say three flashing lights, did this happen to you - ua-cam.com/video/iMw8asBRey8/v-deo.html I am currently having this issue. If you had this as well, do you mean you were able to fix it by changing the pump and anti drip valve? Do let me know! :)
Could someone please tell me how much liquid 2 shots of espresso is supposed to be from this machine when it's working normally. We replaced the pump and valve following these instructions yesterday, but I'm still not sure if it's working right. Pressing the 2 shot button on my machine currently makes about 1oz of espresso shots.
Thank you. This is way beyond what I dare to do! My shut off valve on the right leaks, will not cut off so I use clamps to keep it all the way up and closed and have given up using the steamer. I can't find anything about the shutoff valve not working. Perhaps you have a link or info I haven't found. Thank you!
good job.. exactly.. I dissable all the ec200 to find out the reason.. and reason was that valve mention at 1:00 minutes of this video.. Strange silikon inside is teared. and broken.. and did not want to invest 12 usd even.. lets see if I can glue it with silikon glue.. but such a great video. thanks
Hi I replaced the whole thing then I snapped the spout on the steam valve assembly as I was tightening the hose clamp. Any chance you know how to replace that?
[EN] Igor, many thanks for the instructions, really helpful! Last evening I replaced the anti drip valve and that has helped - now there's pressure in the brewing block. However, when I tried today to make a capuccino, I discovered that the steam stopped working normally - it is making very low amount of steam and pulsating. Going to disassemble again and recheck everything, but just in case you might already know what's that, could you please help with a suggestion?
Hi Andrei, so it brews just fine, but there is an issue with the steam? Could it be the pump this time? I am not really sure what else could have gone wrong. Maybe it just needs descaling?
Hello again! Eventually my Dedica is fixed, and so I'm adding my comment here, as it might be useful for somebody. Indeed it was an issue with the new valve! I was in pretty much doubt, disassembled my Dedica several times, verified just everything, but couldn't imagine anything else but the new valve not functioning properly as well. So I ordered a new one, have just replaced it and - bingo! Now both the brewing pressure and steam pressure are good again. So, the bottom line is: bad OPV may behave differently: either it makes too low pressure when brewing, or it makes too low pressure when steaming (and a lot of bubbles in the water tank, with noticeable noise). In any case it should be replaced. And if after replacement the problem is still there (or flipped from brewing to steaming or vice versa), that means the new OPV is still not good, that really does happen - just replace it once again. Cheers!
Hi Igor, I have the Delonghi Dedica EC680 and recently the descale light seems to stay on after descaling and also the coffee seems to be coming out too quickly and not producing a decent cuppa. If it runs out of water whilst making a coffee it doesn't want to continue and the lights flash. The only way of getting it to work again is to switch off, run steam through the nozzle , switch off and on again then it works (but the taste of coffee just so watery and unpleasant. any suggestions?
Hi, Great vid BTW. The pump I removed from my machine says 230v 50hz I see yours is 120v. Does it matter which pump you use depending on which plugs you have eg UK, European plugs? I'm based in the UK Thanks
Must only last two years for these pumps. We hammer our machine 3-4 coffees a day everyday. Pumps gone again just shy of 2 years since replacing the first time. So new pump ordered again. I would like to get a new machine at some point. But then I keep thinking unless it's a proper bean to cup upgrade there's no point because they all use the same pumps! So high on the list of an upgrade maybe in another two years is checking the ease of replacing the pump so at least I know it can be fixed.
Hi, do you or anyone know what unit of the machine actually detects too much pressure, so that the extraction process gets cancelled? Is there a pressure sensor or might it be the flowmeter? I just cannot find an answer to this, so I would be really grateful for help!
My machine aometimes work good and many times cant put water though just dripping and all my puck is stuck with lot of water. Found need use hot water in water tank and it will work but i m losing patient and soon will maybe after 1 year i use it just forget about it and buy new one and difference
Thanks! Yes, generally, it’s the first thing to check - if there are any leaks. Sometimes it’s the steam valve or any of the fittings. There’s also a small valve in the dripping assembly, behind the metal mesh plate, that could get stuck. Then if the pressure is there from the pump, it’s usually the anti drip valve.
Hi igor, are you also replaced the opv with an adjustable? Saw a pic in reddit. If so, can you share witch parts you used for only replacing the standart opv?
I'm in the process of changing that valve (the new one will be here tomorrow). I found I was able to lift everything up far enough to remove it (the valve) while leaving that orange steam line connected. I don't have the tool for those compression clamps they used on the orange steam line.
Good point. For the clamp, yes it’s impossible to reinstall if you take it out. But you can replace it with a screw clamp , it’s sold at any hardware store
@@IgorKadulenkov It looks like I might need to do the pump too. I still have, what seems to me, pretty weak flow. I'm using a non-pressurised basket with a Eureka Facile grinder. If that doesn't do the trick the last part to try is the flowmeter (#5213214671). If that doesn't work I'm giving up and buying me a Gaggia Classic Pro. :-) And yes, I did forget to move the washer. :-) Water went everywhere. Fortunatly, I hadn't tossed the old valve yet so I used the o-ring and that fixed the leak. Live and learn.
Great video. I plan to replace the valve soon. No water coming out to make coffee but it is coming out the bottom of the machine so I think valve is bad plus I have a leak from valve to water tank. Im curious, was your punp bad or just replaced preventively? Trying to decide if I should replace pump too.
Maybe it's just one of the connecting hoses came loose? I replaced pump first thinking it was the issue, but then figured it was the valve. So I featured both in the video. The new pump is much better at handling running out of water, so I kept it.
Thank you for this video! I'm having an issue with my DeLonghi ec685: the first extraction after power on is just literally few drops, then by extracting more and more times the coffee gets better and better. The more times I make the extractions in a raw, the better the extractions themselves get. It's always like this. Does anyone have any thoughts??
I would check the little automatic valve in the center of the drip hole first. You’ll need to unscrew 3 bolts from the top inside. There’s a little spring pressing it closed, some people reported that unscrewing 3 bolts 1 rotation CCW helped to unstuck the valve. If that doesn’t help, it’s the lack of pressure, meaning it’s most likely the anti drip valve or pump issue.
TI couldn't have done the job without this video.

Hi Tom. I've been following your skill on how to fix my Delonghi Dedica coffee machine. I lately have had an issue that the steam wand leaks when the pump is running. Do you have any suggestions on what is going wrong? Thanks. Addy
maybe a steam valve
thank you for your video. now I‘m certain I will just buy a new machine. 😂
It would also be good to know where to find a replacement for the one-time-use pex crimp clamps which is approx. 3/8" inch. Once you remove these hose clamps, you will spend the next 3 days driving to dozens of hardware and automotive stores trying to find something similar.
Does hot/scalding water come in contact with plastic parts within this machine?
Hi, nice video. I have a question: does the OPV make the flow meter inaccurate? It is measuring the water to the group head plus the water to the reservoir when the pressure overcomes the OPV.
Awesome Video Igor, save me lots of money. The only thing I would mention is that the base of my machine had T20 star torque screws and it took a while to find a bit that worked.
Security t25 bits from the UK model. So they have a hole in the bits. There's torqs bits and then security torqs which the hole.
I found a trick via youtube and used a good old-fashioned small straight-head screwdriver on those tricky Torx-security screws. Works a treat!
Do you know how to fix if the portafilter opening itself during brewing. It will moving and then sudden pressure bursting out. Tried changing silicone gasket and coarsen the grind but still the same.
Игорь, где ты был, когда я в слепую менял обратный клапан. Спасибо за видео.
After struggling with "the original clam" I very much appreciate your comment at 7:47
Useful video, thanks.
LE Drip issue has been solved by readjusting the spring in the 3 Way Valve (round side up; spring side down, towards the coffee pod)
use different water, the one you using is shit containing sand
Just the video I needed! The drip valve was all that needed replacing. You saved me some money, thank you. :D
I have the same issue..and I don't know if it's ok or not.
The blue print is killer, thanks a lot!
THANK YOU VERY MUCH ! DONT KNOW IF I TRY IT BUT IT WAS VERY GOOD TO SEE YOUR VIDEO !GOD BLESS YOU IGOR
Thanks and good luck if you do! It’s an easy job.
Does anyone have any ideas what else could be causing the issue.
maybe a flow meter part
I would like to decrease the pressure from 15 bars to 9 bars (like all the proper espresso machines)
I thinks there is no over pressure valve that could do this without changing the pump.
I am not sure if changing the pump will affect the steam pressure as well?....
Hello, you can definitely try, there’s a small valve with a spring at the drip opening, which lets the water go through when the pressure is at certain level. There’s a small chance it would stop opening with lower power pump. I think steamer should be fine as the pressure is not as high there
What hose clamp did you use?
@@IgorKadulenkov yeah, the sound change, it sounds like lack of power when stops dripping, thanks for the quick answer.
Hard to tell, it could be either one. I have my old pump, which is still good, laying around. If you're in the US, I can ship it to you for free. If you want, shoot me an email - igor@kadulenkov.com. Otherwise, I would start with the valve as it's cheaper.
@@IgorKadulenkov :0 ohh thanks, that's awesome from you, I'll send you an email rn.
Hi dear Igor. My delonghi dedica can brew espresso, but there is really low pressure on the steam wand. I opened the machine and I guess the pump is fine. do you think replacing the anti drip valve can fix this issue in my case?
I my machinr there is very small pressure, just leaking, is this pump broken as well?
Tip: If you are having drip after the water was released and you hear whistling sound from water pipes, then you have probably turned the mushroom spring thingy the wrong way inside of the 3-way valve. The head part is going up and the spring is going on the plastic base.
You also removed the three way valve by mistake?
A spring with a ball head fell off and i wasn't sure where it was from...
Hi Igor, could you tell me why the pre-infusion no longer works? I even changed the motherboard, opv filter, pump, boiler, could you help me, it no longer does the preinfusion
Спасибо, все понятно и наглядно показано :)
I'm not sure what my issue is with my machine. When I want to use the steaming Wand, the steam comes out of the group head and not the steaming want. I took the machine apart and the steaming Wand is not in any way blocked. Any tips? Pipes looks clear as well
My machine still works, but water drips from the frother and the frothing is also weak. Do you have a idea what can I try replacing first?
Hi I have the delonghi the same as this one the descale light flashes amber but it won’t let me get past the flashing light when I turn the steam switch down and press the descale button it doesn’t do anything can you help me please I just need to know what part I need to order thanks
Dear Igor, thanks for this Great video. My machine is ec685.m, I managed to replace the parts, however I have a plug green/yellow cable which I habe no slot to connect at the bottom of the machine. I don‘t see the same cable in your machine. Any idea where to plug this?
If I understand correctly, it goes to the top lead. Yours is the never version
Sometimes you just to flush water through the machine using the following method:
Hope that helps, I fixed my machine that way
hello
i removed the three way valve to check inside and i have a spring like cone.
Is this fell ogf the three way valve?
Hi, will this take care of the steam wand dripping when the espresso is coming out?
Hello, not really. It sounds like you have a faulty steam valve
Couple of watchouts:
1) When removing the top lid it needs to be slid towards the back to avoid snapping the tabs like explained here: ua-cam.com/video/baVoeQNHkqU/v-deo.html
2) Not sure if it's specific to the European/UK version but I had 3 grounding connectors to detach that connect the inner assembly to the outer chassis, two on top and one at the bottom.
@@ryanberr4048 Yes, it had exactly the same problem and since replacing the valve and motor I didn't have any issue. It was about a year ago now.
Strange silikon inside is teared. and broken.. and did not want to invest 12 usd even.. lets see if I can glue it with silikon glue.. but such a great video. thanks
Thank you! Apparently, the valve is not very reliable, but I never tried to open it. You went 1 step further :)
Hi I replaced the whole thing then I snapped the spout on the steam valve assembly as I was tightening the hose clamp. Any chance you know how to replace that?
Link from where I can buy please
Cheers!
Merci pour ce tuto parfait !
Is there any fix around for the water temperature which is not hot enough even in the highest settings???
Hi Igor, I have the Delonghi Dedica EC680 and recently the descale light seems to stay on after descaling and also the coffee seems to be coming out too quickly and not producing a decent cuppa. If it runs out of water whilst making a coffee it doesn't want to continue and the lights flash. The only way of getting it to work again is to switch off, run steam through the nozzle , switch off and on again then it works (but the taste of coffee just so watery and unpleasant. any suggestions?
Hallo . Ich wollte etwas fragen . Meine Kaffeemaschine de longhi ecc 685 so wenig dampf aber heißwasser geht . Wo kann das Problem sein ??
Hi, Great vid BTW. The pump I removed from my machine says 230v 50hz I see yours is 120v. Does it matter which pump you use depending on which plugs you have eg UK, European plugs? I'm based in the UK Thanks
hey, there s a coil with some silicon on the edge, when i disassembled the upper part. where should that go?
Thanks very much ❤
Must only last two years for these pumps.
Благодарю, очень полезно.
Meine Kaffeemaschine ec685 hat wenig luft beim Dampfdüse . Es heißt hat nicht viel pression milch zum schäumen. Wo ist das problem ?
My machine aometimes work good and many times cant put water though just dripping and all my puck is stuck with lot of water. Found need use hot water in water tank and it will work but i m losing patient and soon will maybe after 1 year i use it just forget about it and buy new one and difference
Thanks, good job. In my case, the steam valve was faulty (water was leaking from the steam wand), but the manual is excellent.
You made my day! (And my coffee) 🤩
Hi igor, are you also replaced the opv with an adjustable?
Saw a pic in reddit.
If so, can you share witch parts you used for only replacing the standart opv?
Hi Nino, I installed the standard opv and pump. This was just a repair, not an upgrade. Please see the video description for the links.
Thanks a lot Igor ! Great video.🤗
Thank you, this worked for me!
great video, helped me a lot thanks for posting!
What tool did you use to clip the hose clip? The one locking the frother part is killing me
I'm in the process of changing that valve (the new one will be here tomorrow).
And yes, I did forget to move the washer. :-) Water went everywhere. Fortunatly, I hadn't tossed the old valve yet so I used the o-ring and that fixed the leak. Live and learn.
My coffee machine is when I start to shot the coffee, it loses a few drops of water through the milk steamer. what could it be?
Many thanks for the helpful video.
Amazing can you fix my machine, I think if I took my apart I could never get it together again😅
Thank you for sharing your fix👍
Where is the link to the valve?
Great video. I plan to replace the valve soon. No water coming out to make coffee but it is coming out the bottom of the machine so I think valve is bad plus I have a leak from valve to water tank. Im curious, was your punp bad or just replaced preventively? Trying to decide if I should replace pump too.
Maybe it's just one of the connecting hoses came loose? I replaced pump first thinking it was the issue, but then figured it was the valve. So I featured both in the video. The new pump is much better at handling running out of water, so I kept it.
Thank you for posting this! What size hose clamp did you use? I am ordering the parts from your links now, thank you again.
Would be hard to remember now, sorry. But it is the smallest of this type of hose clamp, I think.
@@IgorKadulenkov Ok, thank you :)
Igor, if my ec680m does not product coffee however the frothier wand shoots out water. What parts should i replace? Thank you in advance
