@@JoyneFreedom I've read that Drake left the first time to join the National Guard. (maybe a personal calling?). The second time was a little tougher, and happened the night they played the Ed Sullivan show, when he was informed that day that he was being replaced by Freddie Weller. Freddie has said in interviews that he barely new the songs, and was watching Fang's playing to make sure he got close (even though the music was synced, and the only thing live ,as I recall, was Mark's vocals.)
