- Humorous antics and ad-lib between performances! The Raiders' music clips from this 'Treasure of '67' tv show (that never aired) have been on UA-cam for years. These are the minutes in between... enjoy!

When I need a smile I'll watch this, love the way Mark and Paul feed off each other.....
I have to say Mark Lindsay was so precious, a darling, sweetheart and gentle. Mark had beautiful teeth and a gorgeous smile
Thank his dentist he spent $$$$ on fixing them.
I enjoy his smile but at age 13 he was was my first crush don’t think I could have spoken to him just goofy grin and I can my late Dad saying to me WOW something or someone actually helped you quit talking for awhile feels Great! 🤩😁🥰🙏🇺🇸My late parents were my world because I was their only child but sure never was spoiled they didn’t want me turning out to be a brat I was treated as they were with lots of brothers and sisters and deeply loved 🥰 I think Marks parents loved him very much and he is very intelligent and I still think he has a lovely voice and I still remember him wearing lots of colors of catctts
I love this video! Mark & Paul were so young and silly! RIP Paul...we will miss you.
I love these clips of Mark and Paul being silly and having fun. It takes be back to being 13 yo again! Mark was always so pretty!

I love how Paul falls out of his chair like twice! Man I wish I had been around in the 60's. Mark was supper dreamy here!
VeggieDancer I was, and, yes, he was🙂
The best part was Paul falling backward and knocking over the backdrop.
I love Mark's hair.
The first Rock & Roll Band to have it's own weekly tv show.Happening &Happenig 69.

So glad you shared this one ~ Happy New Year!
Thanks! Happy New Year to you, too!!
A lot of this looks like it's from the "Treasure of '67" which I have on video tape. Mark sold some through his fan club/newsletter years ago.
@Christine Royer - You're correct, these 'outtakes' are from "Treasure of '67." The actual song performances from this show had been posted on YT for years, but not the funny banter between Paul and Mark! ;-)
rest in peace "uncle" paul
God Speed, Paul. We're gonna miss you.
I just subscribed because I LOVE this clip, please never delete it :)

Love it!
Freddy the frog - long lost cousin of Kermit!
I saw that. It was funny. They were actually good friends, from what I heard. I don't know why the Monkees didn't have the Raiders on their show. I do remember seeing that clip you're talking about.
Do you or don't you think that Paul Revere & His Raiders' 1967 unaired TV Special was on ABC, CBS or NBC? I forget which. Those wild & crazy antics from them made me laugh all the way to the bathroom. Are you that Freddy the frog is really & truly Kermit's long lost identical cousin? Hello?! Oh well, nobody's perfect.
This was from the ABC special "Treasure of '67." Most likely produced by Dick Clark.
How com this part of the special didn't air?
Brandon Barres
The entire special/pilot show never aired. It exists only as a bootleg. The musical performances from this show have been posted on youtube for quite a few years. Here's one: ua-cam.com/video/DRu5TDiHmEU/v-deo.html
Hahahahah ...Kermit!
First one to comment (YEAH!!!) This is a funny video.
Wonder why it never aired. It's too bad. Would have been nice if it had aired.
These guys were as funny as The Monkees.
They should have made a guest appearance on "The Monkees TV Show" like Frank Zappa did circa 1968.
Anyway, thanks for posting this. This is an awesome video!!!
Do you have the entire special, or just the ad-libbing parts?
Heather Cox - I do... it was released as a bootleg, not an official dvd. I edited out the musical performances for three reasons: 1) The Raiders' songs from the show were already posted on YT. 2) I didn't want to violate any copyrights, as there were other performers on the show... Billy Joe Royal, Steve Alaimo and Roy Head. 3) I thought fans would enjoy the antics!! You can find the four Raiders songs from that show on YT: Good Thing, Let Me, Kicks, Him or Me on the same stage. Here's one: ua-cam.com/video/iYY71X8SU8M/v-deo.html If you google the show, you'll find the dvd is still for sale on Kaleidoscope Video. Hard to find now!
I love the scene where Paul is laughing so hard that he falls off the stool
@@60s70sVintageRock you said this was a bootleg copy. I'm wondering where the original footage went and why it was never cleaned up and made available for Raiders fans......
@@moonbeam7702 The original footage was probably trashed. It was a tv pilot that failed, but ultimately led to the Raiders' Saturday tv series 'Happening '68' on ABC. Could only find one article where it's mentioned. blog.musoscribe.com/index.php/2010/07/08/feature-paul-revere-the-raiders-part-4/ If you have other questions, you could try messaging Mark Lindsay on his personal Facebook page... he (or his wife) often answer fans and you may just get a response!
Hilarious
Mark you are able to copy Gabby Haynes haha!
No wonder it never aired
Paul hated Mark's guts and start status. No wonder these guys would part soon. Nothing but good about the dead ,but Paul had all the charismatic presence of a haysack.his 'funny' Mexican accent is lousy too. Great music is what they made though, mostly thanks to Mark,Terry Melcher and a host of ace session men.
without Drake, Phil and Smitty?......not so funny. They're trying too hard.
It's as cringe as it can get
