Cheers for watching, i was a little surprised by the end myself. It can be a box of struggle and then suddenly the clouds part.
For every one of these that starts from a kick and ends in pure texture bliss ... I always want to hear the texture layered back over a kick - my brain is waiting to hear that 4/4 kick come in behind at the end :)
Hehe, yes i know what you mean. I really like that feeling when imagining or wanting that kick to come back, but not being given it. I sometimes try putting the kick back but often find it sounds worse. For sure though, sometimes it’s nice and always opens things for remixes or other versions, even if just in our minds.
I enjoyed every minute of this, thnx! I really thought that you had something interesting 30min in that responded nice to parameter changing and that you'd be done by then, but you moved on without saving Very bold, haha! I'm saving states constantly as I go. Loved the "glimmer through the fog" metaphor.
I really appreciate that. I will definitely do more from scratch videos, if for no other reason than it can be hard sometimes, but always something to learn from it for me.
I will have to listen back at 30 mins and see what i missed while in that fog.
