every time i think about good times in school i remember that school is temporary and there will be a day where school will end for you. I will enjoy school as much as i can in these years.
Enjoy the easy times before adulthood comes! Also, start investing in a long term skill like a foreign language or programming or whatever you would honestly like doing for free. 15 mins a day now could snowball like crazy. (Dont wanna pressure people but dang had I wish someone said that to me)

I study in a boarding STEM high school in Egypt. which means that I get to live with my friends! it been an amazing experience until now! I am really excited to be in school for this next semester and get to know the new first year students in a couple of weeks. The curreculum may be very hard to follow or keep up with (its not boring at all! just a bit complicated), but you have so many friends and peers to comunicte with and study with, really takes off some stress, this is all not to meantion all of the crazy fun stuff you get to do with you friends in the dorms after school. 100 percent would recomend romanticizing your school life, it has done me wonders!
writing this on a second account for reasons, ty for actually giving advice on how to enjoy school which is unavoidable instead of saying what other "self-improvement" yters say, which is to just push through it, which can work for some people ig. last school year was actually hell for me and i felt like i couldn't go back in another day by the end, but over the summer i have made new friends and talked to old ones which i had drifted away from much more, and improved my mental state. i will try some of these things to see if it will help me enjoy school more. thanks for the advice cuz u actually use your personal experience to give advice

If i am being honest, even though i didn't acomplish everything i wanted on this summer break, it was a great and not wasted one. For me, school is so much fun, unlike my friends (maybe they do think so, but they don’t admit it 🤷🏻♀️). I think it’s because of the way I look at it! I always romanticize school, especially since this is my senior year, so now it’s even more special.

There was a couple of times when I asked the professor to go to the bathroom but instead met my friends at the hall and we shared snacks or sprinted to the nearest coffee shop. At the other day we stayed late till everyone left, and we were exploring halls and ways we didn't even know were existing. Oh, and another thing that feels like breaking rules even though it isn't: talking to a professor who's passionate about their subject. You can ask them for more details, share your own opinion, and they will listen and actually be interested in the discussion with you as an equal! This way the lecture could take a completely new route instead of just writing down every word. The uni is even more fun than school, and it's a really cool experience!

me and my friends always write down quotes on our notes app from teachers/classmates or funny situations that happened in school. we’ve been doing this for a year now and it’s so fun looking back at it :))

Yeah, true. I always loved school, because I hated my abusive house. The bad environment in other places made me realize how good school was for me and I started enjoying it a lot.
A big part of what made high school so fun for me was having "rituals" with friends. A disclaimer, I went to an art school where the rules were extremely relaxed, so we regularily did things which would most likely not be allowed in any other school. Also, I'm czech, so our education system is different from the american system. Half of the school would go out every big break (we had a break from 9:40 to 10:00 which we called the "big break" 'cuz it was 10-15 minutes longer than the other breaks between classes) to smoke in the park across from our school. It was an amazing place to socialize and meet new people from other classes, even the non-smokers went out just to hang out and talk to people. There was an amazing pub like 3 minutes away from our school which opened at 1 PM, so if we had a free period in the afternoon we'd go there, have a beer or two, and play table football or table tennis at the pub. Turns out afternoon classes are much more fun when you're slightly buzzed. After school we'd either go hang out in the park and have a couple of beers and/or smoke weed, go to the pub, or go to another park like 15 minutes away from the school to play table tennis, soccer, or play at the kid's playground. If someone from our friend group was celebrating a birthday, the rest of the friend group would meet up at someone's house, bake them a cake and bring it to school. Sometimes we'd just bring in baked goods for the entire class for no reason other than to brighten their day. We'd regularily meet up at friend's houses to have tea and maybe a bottle (or two, or three) of wine, hang out, gossip, play board games, listen to music, watch a movie or do whatever else we felt like doing. This often turned into an impromptu sleepover. In the morning we'd often raid the closet of whichever friend's place we were staying at and wear their clothes to school that day. I absolutely loved my high school experience, and I wish it lasted longer than 4 years, 1 and a half of which we weren't even at school because of covid. Those 4 years were the best years of my life, and if I could go back in time and live them again I absolutely would.

The reason I don’t really like school is because I have hard classes, I usually have good teachers and I like my teachers and ofc I love my friends but I just get to stressed from the hard classes, like this years I’m gonna have to take 1 math and 1 science EACH semester so I can continue with the IB program so I can get into a good collage/university like I even do some of the things you talk about like I’m in clubs and I do sports and mess around with my friends after school but it’s just about what I have to think about for my future ahead of my so it’s not like I can just drop the hard courses if I wanna be successful
I plan to be the black sheep outcast this year. I had very bad experiences with friendships and people, I’m not a people person at all and I hate being around them. Gonna be the best senior year ever :)

I just started middle school a few weeks ago and I thought it would be bad but it's really fun! I'm playing volleyball to practice for the real season in 2 months :) and I joined band class even though I'm not a musical person I still sometimes think school , is boring but sometimes it's fun :)

i’m gonna be honest i don’t wanna meet any new people, or talk to anyone and i hate all things social. i hate pretending to like people when i don’t, and i hate integrating with social groups. i just wanna do my own thing and focus on myself, because i just hate people and i feel like all they seem to do is get in the way of what i want. i know i sound like a sad and selfish person but i don’t care, i dont wanna be somebody who has “such a good exciting memorable” time at school but then lives a bullsht adulthood doing nothing but living in the past, and i’m frickin tired of ppl saying “live in the moment, you’re 17, there’s so many opportunities” when i know what i want, and ppl think they know what’s best for me but they don’t. i don’t want to enjoy school, and i don’t believe that enjoying school, in the current social climate, will lead to longterm benefits. sorry.
middle school i took it for granted but looking back i liked it, me and my bestfirend went to rooms we probably couldnt go too, umm joked around in the handicap toilet and filled condoms with water and one poppeed lollll, henna, tiktok etc i miss that then high school came i hate it like the rooms were catogorized so there woukd actually b no chance to go anywhere «fun» and with 10m breaks like i dontahve time to eat my lucnh but i changed high schools today and i think. ilike it here, more variated people, bigger build, and theres a park outside, and a grovery store close so am happy

But after going to highschool this feeling of fun and heppines vanished away, Im not vibing my classmates and rhe school is like hour and half by bus so I need to wake up at 5:30 but I have like 15 minutes to get out and cetch my bus. Hey I know no one is probably gonna see this or anything but I really like your content man like it's different then most channels out there and when I started watching your videos I made this channel because it was like really inspiring to me. I don't really care if anyone watches my videos anymore really even though I used to care a lot but it just kinda feels nice making them. Your making a huge difference in the world man. ❤
The reason I don’t really like school is because I have hard classes, I usually have good teachers and I like my teachers and ofc I love my friends but I just get to stressed from the hard classes, like this years I’m gonna have to take 1 math and 1 science EACH semester so I can continue with the IB program so I can get into a good collage/university like I even do some of the things you talk about like I’m in clubs and I do sports and mess around with my friends after school but it’s just about what I have to think about for my future ahead of my so it’s not like I can just drop the hard courses if I wanna be successful
I plan to be the black sheep outcast this year. I had very bad experiences with friendships and people, I’m not a people person at all and I hate being around them. Gonna be the best senior year ever :)

I just started middle school a few weeks ago and I thought it would be bad but it's really fun! I'm playing volleyball to practice for the real season in 2 months :) and I joined band class even though I'm not a musical person I still sometimes think school , is boring but sometimes it's fun :)

i’m gonna be honest i don’t wanna meet any new people, or talk to anyone and i hate all things social. i hate pretending to like people when i don’t, and i hate integrating with social groups. i just wanna do my own thing and focus on myself, because i just hate people and i feel like all they seem to do is get in the way of what i want. i know i sound like a sad and selfish person but i don’t care, i dont wanna be somebody who has “such a good exciting memorable” time at school but then lives a bullsht adulthood doing nothing but living in the past, and i’m frickin tired of ppl saying “live in the moment, you’re 17, there’s so many opportunities” when i know what i want, and ppl think they know what’s best for me but they don’t.
i don’t want to enjoy school, and i don’t believe that enjoying school, in the current social climate, will lead to longterm benefits. sorry.
middle school i took it for granted but looking back i liked it, me and my bestfirend went to rooms we probably couldnt go too, umm joked around in the handicap toilet and filled condoms with water and one poppeed lollll, henna, tiktok etc i miss that
then high school came i hate it like the rooms were catogorized so there woukd actually b no chance to go anywhere «fun» and with 10m breaks like i dontahve time to eat my lucnh but i changed high schools today and i think. ilike it here, more variated people, bigger build, and theres a park outside, and a grovery store close so am happy

Yeah, I think shool is really fun! But after going to highschool this feeling of fun and heppines vanished away, Im not vibing my classmates and rhe school is like hour and half by bus so I need to wake up at 5:30 but I have like 15 minutes to get out and cetch my bus. I think I will change my scool in the winter, wish me luck!
