From the Sam’s website, those turkey burgers are $3/lbs, $12 for that box. How was the cleanup after doing those? There probably weren’t any drippings off the turkey burgers. I like to do the Jimmy Dean sausage from Sam’s. But there is a lot of drippings off 2 lbs of sausage, and I have to split it into two separate batches. I put a silicone liner in the bottom of the pan to make the cleanup easier. But having it all in the bottom of the pan is a world better than all over the kitchen if I did it in a pan.
I agree with containing the mess and that is true with many items... way easier in the bottom of the pot than all over the stove top and grates... but, you are correct and considerably less dripping from the turkey and pretty much cleaned up the majority with paper towels that I tossed in the garbage instead of putting down my drain... and that is how I always clean it... thanks for posting the price...i couldn't remember during the video... and thanks for watching!!!
Came here to be sure I could cook these Pattie’s in the air fryer- so I really appreciate that point! LOVE the sweet onion seasoned butterball Turkey burgers. I cook it over beef any day! Also, the mayo- it’s DUKES 100000%! Thank you! ❤️
John, Thanks for the video. I live up north near Buffalo, NY and do most of my grocery shopping at Aldis . I buy their Kirkwood brand frozen turkey burgers and cook them in my original style 8 quart Foodi using the crisper pan on the reversible rack in the lower position - that gives a little bit more room than the smaller diameter crisper basket. I cook them for 15 minutes using Bake/Roast at 360 degrees and that works for me. My personal favorite toppings are ketchup and pickle relish - that what works for me. When it comes to mayonnaise, I buy the Aldis store brand Burmans, the variety made with olive oil when it's available. I bought my Foodi a year ago in February and use it all the time. Your videos helped me made the choice of the Fooi over the Instant Pot and guided me on choosing my favorite recipes and customizing them to my own personal taste. I'm looking forward to your upcoming videos.
That is really good to hear because that is exactly my intent...i hope I help people with using the device... maybe help with purchasing decision... but most of all help people with base recipes that they can use to put together what they like and make my recipe theirs... thank you for sharing your thoughts and your setup for these burgers John. .. and it sounds like a very solid method... and of course... thanks for watching my videos and trying my recipes!!!
I love eating these right here, they are very delicious and a lot more healthier for you. Also I would love to see them make the most 100% all healthy and all natural chicken burgers like this too. It be something different
If I know I am going to have them for dinner the day before, I will put a pack of 4 in the refrigerator and it cuts down on cooking time and seems to melt in my mouth! Thanks for the great videos!
Up here in Massachusetts, the only brand of mayonnaise out of those three choices they carry is Hellmann’s and that’s what I use. We also have a local brand named Cains, but I prefer the Hellmann’s.
Thanks Ryan!!! I do have one in mind but it may be a bit... however, I have done the research and I think it is going to be a pretty good one.. thanks for watching!!!
John Sanders they sure do I am so glad I purchased the Ninja Foodi Preasure Cooker air Fryer and the 4 qt Air Fryer it’s perfect for 1 and a small dog 🐕
John, well, as far as a mayonnaise is concerned, I've used Hellmann's all my life but Duke's is really good. And I now use that regularly. The "light" version with olive oil is awesome! As far as Turkey Burgers are concerned, I think I'll pass. Years ago I tried Turkey Sausage instead of regular sausage for breakfast and it left much to be desired. 70% less fat also usually means 70% less flavor.
I have always been the same way but these aren't bad... and I'll have something for my guest that eat a little healthier than I do...thanks for watching!!!
For Mayo try the Chosen Avocado Oil Mayo, it’s great and doesn’t contain any unhealthy oils. Many times the olive oil mayos still contain soybean and/or Canola oils. I may start making my own Mayo from scratch, but I haven’t gotten up to the same par as my MaMa yet.
Jelly07, thanks for testing out the turkey burgers! I am looking into purchasing the Cuisinart digital air fryer. I like that I can use it as an oven as well as a dehydrator, in addition to air frying. I will have to check out the butterball turkey patties, their new to me.
No...i just set the timer to an hour so I would not have to worry about the machine turning off before it reached safe temp...i would Definitely find another way if that were the case...lol...thanks for watching!!!
@@JohnSanders just followed your directions and I’m currently sitting at the dinner table eating my turkey burger with the wife! Thanks for the video :)

That sounds like a perfect set up...
@@kathyfann my ninja air fryer was smoking badly, do you do burgers in yours?
This has nothing to do with the instant pot but I love your kitchen! Chuck and Joanna Gains couldn't have put it together better. Lol!
Babydoll will love hearing that... she helped with the design and loves watching them!!! Thanks... and thanks for watching!!!
Please we know they are not hamburgers only turkey burgers😊😊
Hi John I know said this on your last vid but thank you for doing this during the hard times
You are very welcome... thank you for watching!!
I just purchased the Ninja Speedi and was thinking about cooking frozen turkey burgers in the steam and crisp function. Wondering if you've tried it?

I was genuinely impressed!!! Thanks for watching!!!
I'm familiar with Hellmann's mayo.
Blue Plate from New Orlesns. Blue plate mayonnaise is the staple down here but I'm going to try to find Dukes.
Blue plate No No!
Come on jelly Dukes is the only mayo worth having any other is just being deprived. Sorry folks in the north it’s not your fault.
Lol... I've always been a Blue Plate lover but here recently I have eaten a lot Dukes...thanks for watching!!!
Duke is better
I like it too and have used it quite a bit recently...thanks for watching!!!
Duke good but Hellmann’s is the best of the best!
I only gave it thumbs down cause this tutorial could have been done in half the time. I could have grilled all 12 in 12mins and 52 secs lol
😂
So are you telling me it takes an hour to cook in a airfryer
