Have you done a ranking of the Kirkland Signature frozen patties yet? If not May I humbly request that review?
Yo
This channel is a hidden gem. So glad I found it.
I just found this channel a few minutes ago. I agree.
@@thesevendeadlysins578
You damn right.
Same here
@@thesevendeadlysins578 As the other two gentleman's, im with you overhere. Needed a video while eating my meal, and then this Chad of a guy popped up on my youtube page
Love the editing style.. him flipping the patties made me LOL
If anyone was wondering a pound of the regular Bubba burgers comes out to 1260 calories and a pound of the reduced fat comes out to 1040 calories. Meaning the difference between the two for a whole pound is only 220 calories. Realistically if you're trying to reduce calories on a burger your effort is better spent trying to reduce calories of toppings/condiments or on carbs. Also while not applicable here most companies advertising reduced fat usually mean higher sugar or sodium.
The fact it is normal and necessary to explain things like this to other adults is concerning to me, but I think it’s because of a lack of nutritional information in schools
good comment thank u
It's as easy as looking at the packaging. Original bubba burger is ground chuck (80/20) and the reduced fat is ground round (85/15).
What? It’s reduced FAT. Not reduced calories. 2 completely different things.
Would be curious to see you test the multiple Costco Kirkland frozen patties. On a recent visit they had at least 4 varieties of their own brand.
their grass-fed ones are suuuuper delicious.
The 'low fat" one would be about 350 kcal if it was 1/3rd of a pound, so smaller and a bit less fat, but only about 8g less. If you are eating a burger, the bun is way worse for you than 8g of animal fat. Plus you might eat 2 to be full, so that's 1/2 lb of "diet" meat (+ 2 buns) v. 1/3 lb of the regular.
What about the salt?
@@l0sts0ul89what about the salt? It's low fat, not low sodium.
I don’t know what it is about this guys channel but I really like his reviews compared to others. Think it’s because this guy knows his stuff and is honest. Keep it up you got my sub 😃
Audio quality was brutal
Sounds like a you problem
RIght!? I thought so too! Especially when he was in his car, for some reason.
@@FlyGuyTy420No dude, it’s your problem if your speakers sucks. His mic cannot handle his voice and is clipping like all hell. If you can’t hear the distortion, then idk what to tell you
@@bwfextreme nah your trippin odeee over some audio. You guys must have a android
The audio def needs an upgrade but he said he'd be willing to upgrade mic quality if someone can recommend him a lav mic. Don't kick him while he's down, sometimes it's just hard to balance audio issues.
I'm a 2nd generation cattle rancher, before you throw out all grain cows, all free range cows, or all grass fed cows, try it first, especially if its a good/better value. My cattle are all grass fed, but I've seen some people graze cattle on too small of land so the meat gets tough, ive seen some free range cows eating plastic water bottles, and I've seen some "grain" cows getting fed silage that would be illegal to put into a water source.
I get the Bacon Cheddar and Jalapeño Cheddar for $5.94 a box. Right now I have 6 boxes of the Jalapeño and 14 boxes of the Bacon in my deep freezer 😂
I'm just incredibly lucky. My local supermarket is in an area where I'm the only non-vegan within 3 square miles, so I'm constantly getting insane deals on meat. They mark Bubba Burgers down from $16.99 to $5.94. The other day I bought the most unbelievable veal chops for like a buck fifty a pop. Chicken, sausage, steak, pork, I get insane deals on everything because there's me and a dozen other normal people, and then a sea of thousands of these vampire creatures who eat fake vegetable yogurt or whatever
Where in the hell do you live? Imma move over there to get those kinds of meat prices lmao
Where do you live?
Ay want some roommate
“Normal people”😂
bubba needs to sponsor. didn't know about them before this video
Actually they Su-K, you are better off just making your own Or having your own local butcher do them for you. And you would probably come out cheaper doing that too...
Couldn't stop laughing at the white board part, don't know why but when I heard the it's too big for the car part I lost it. Great video too btw.
I enjoyed the editing of your video. Very entertaining and funny! Thanks
the editing is freaking hilarious. keep it coming, i subscribed.
Holy jump in production quality! Keep up the good work wiz!
There are only three varieties at my local Food Lion in Augusta Ga. Regular price is 13.99. But about every other month they go on sale for 9.99.
I'm quite partial to grass fed meat & dairy. And omega 3 enriched eggs. But the price being a turn off (especially in this economy) is 110% a valid concern/criticism.
We’ve tried frozen burgers and they’re alright in a pinch, but we’re lucky enough that our local grocery store has a meat market that’ll make you fresh ground Patty’s in any size (weight) you want and they are worlds better. They’re so good my girlfriend is ruined on restaurant burgers 🤣
Nice straight to the point video!
Thanks boss. i gotta try that onion one it seems. I've never seen that
Just found your content and THANK YOU. These are the questions I always wonder when shopping for every day food. So many brands I just always stick to the same thing and wont bother trying a test like this. Also, never expect you to compare this to getting Pokemon cards LOL perfect.
Excellent! Watched the 2 videos, & going with the onion style next time
real talk, that mic you have in the car is peaking real bad
Love the detail here. Will get sweet onion if I see it but the basic burger if I can’t
Great video! I feel your pain about the Turkey burger with the rosemary flavor. I once had cashews flavored with rosemary, and the flavor was overwhelming. Anyway, next time I restock on Burgers, I'm definitely going to find the onion flavor burgers.
touhou
dude im so glad i clicked this, didn't expect to like this as much as I did. I feel like he got so unlucky with the jalapeno one. I get those all the time for me and my father in law and we always get TONS of pepper in each bite its so good!
Fug yeah I been waiting for this
This is 👏 amazing!
I've never seen the sweet onion version in the stores where I live. A few years ago, I decided that the Original and Angus Bubba Burgers were the only frozen hamburgers to buy. I've never found a frozen turkey burger that qualified as good, and it seems like hamburgers are the only form of ground beef where low fat content doesn't work. If I'm going to brown ground beef in a skillet to be drained and added to something, 90% or higher is the way to go. But that doesn't work for hamburgers because the result is too dry.
sweet onion are super good
Try other stores your missing out on the jalapeño cheddar and the Turkey burgers
Hell ya dude! This is what I subscribed for
Still need a better mic that can handle more DB’s without the audio “clipping”. You got a good energetic voice, so the ability to be loud without inducing distortion will make your videos perfect! Cheers
Actually had to stop watching bc the audio is literally hurting my ears. Your #1 priority before you make any more videos should be to invest in a better mic. Trust me, I’m very knowledgeable when it comes to audio production
Do you have any suggestions? I have a lab mic that I used in this video but I am always open to an iprgrade.
@@ButcherWizard I'm no audio expert and I don't know of any lav mics to recommend but you may be able to fix it in post with audio balancing? To me it sounds like you're peaking your microphone constantly. What kind of mic do you have currently?
@@ButcherWizard
I don’t know what your budget is, but I’ve heard good things about the Blue Yeti X. It retails for $130 or so.
you get a quality mic and pop filter and you're unstoppable
these videos gave you my sub
I"m in Virginia (Food Lion). Bubba burgers here are 15.99. The Bubba Burger angus are 16.99. That's insane. I remember back when they were 9.99 I thought that was expensive. Wow. Sweet Onion was my favorite too.
Lol great timing just thinking about this channel.
Thanks for watching
@@ButcherWizardthanks for uploading
Sounds like the turkey burger should have counted as a meat plus since the rosemary extract threw the flavor so much.
😂
Well done sir!
I loved this video and the ratings. However I believe that a cross section section for each burger would give a better idea as to what certain burgers are lacking (the plus burgers having little to no cheese and or jalapenos).
So far I have had 2 packs of sams choice. Found if let sit it for few minutes while griddle is heating up. They come right apart.
I love Turkey burgers man, it's a shame they did them with the rosemary like that. I'd make you a good one with a bourbon blueberry bbq sauce, caramelized onion, and spinach.
Bourbon Blueberry BBQ sauce?! That sounds Amazing do you make it homemade?
I happen to really like Rosemary too... Hahahahahahahaha 😂!!!
Just bought the onion.. first time eating bubba burgers…. Thanks for the review
I enjoyed this video and the Walmart frozen burger one. Unfortunately, my husband hates onions so the Vidalia Onion Bubba Burger is not an option, although they sound delisious tome. Lol! Anyway, I was wondering if you could taste test the frozen burgers from Costco? Im looking for a quick family meal option, but quality too. Thanks.🙂
Your husband doesn’t allow you to eat onions either?
I used to grab the Black box Angus burgers, toss in a shallow pan with 75/25 bone suckin sauce and water and simmer till done, flipping one time. Lid on at all times, and when they’re done it’s like a sweet, spicy meatloaf burger flavor but not as falling apart.
I just purchased a hamburger press. And i season and press my own burgers. This method saves me an awful lot of money.
This dude gonna blow up
I used to get these when I lived in a pay by the week motel. I had a tiny grill , I ate these basically daily because the 1 store nearby sold them and I had no car.
I don't remember them bring very good.
The original ones
Not from the US ive never heard of any of these. But now i crave for them.
Yeah its true that youve been very nice on those earlier rankings.
We've been eating bubba burgers since 2020. They became our quarantine burger of choice and my family's ranking is pretty similar. The sweet onion is our favorite, followed by oroginal / Angus. The turkey burger was ok, but we haven't purchased it again and we've wanted to try the bacon chedder and jalapeño chedder, and don't think we'll bother now. 😅
My sister-in-law invited us over for a cookout. It was one of these garbage patties. After that, I stopped inviting her over for when I grind up shortrib and brisket for smash burgers
Bit harsh
You should utilize the tier list format so people can visualize the rankings.
Here in St. Louis, Classic Box. $17.50 32oz.
Fresh Ground 80/20 on sale $3.00 lb to $5.00 lb, not on sale.
So, and I'm laughing, 2lbs/32 oz, $6.00 to $10.00. Umm, Fresh.
For the Price Bubba cost, Not a Chance in Hell I would buy them.
Takes 10 Mins to Break down the Fresh, Patty them, and package them for freezing.
The worst part is washing your hands. LOL.
Oh, BTW, Thank You for trying all of them, so I don't have to, or am willing to. Man, $9.00 lb for frozen.
i always wondered what these tasted like, my mom doesn’t like buying prepackaged patties because they taste weird
dude stop being fucking walking stereotype and invest in some damn seasoning dude god lee. 🤦♂️🤦♂️
They do taste weird.
They’re really good gotta put them on the grill tho
I like these tests. Next do costco, kroger, maybe other brands. I don't think I have any of your supermarkets where I'm at, except walmart. Never heard of Publix.. publics? pubics? Sounds creepy. We have Frys, Bashas, Albertsons here. Basically people here shop at Frys or Walmart, and a few botique supermarkets, like Trader Joes, or Sprouts. In Arizona.
burtrum didnt die. he just started ranking frozen burgers
Gonna try the sweet onion. Bro you had a fly bounce off your head in the video.
Just a note on the reduced fat, 1/3 Pound is only about an extra 1.3OZ over 1/4 Pound (4OZ)
So the reduced fat although is a smaller burger is less calories for the same amount of meat, not much though.
65 Cals per OZ on the reduced fat
79 Cals per OZ on the normal
Cals isn't really that important though if it is significantly less fat.
Burger Rankings
1. Sweet Onion (8/10)
2/3. Original and Angus (7/10)
4. Bacon Cheddar (6/10)
5. Grass Fed (5/10)
6. Reduced Fat (3/10)
7/8. Turkey & Bacon Jalapeno (2/10)
Sigh... it's too bad none of these had either a 9/10 or a 10/10 score, though I think he said that frozen burger are normally no good, and this should mainly be done if you're down on your luck with time and money or something, but normally, you'd want a REAL burger, which I can kind of understand. :p
Sigh... it's also too bad the Bacon Jalapeno one was rated so low. :( Because I think a more all natural jalapeno bacon pepperjack burger or something would be really nice, as I love spicy things. :p
But yeah, here are our burgers, I guess. :?
turkey burgers in bbq sauce hit in the MRE. haven't had one in years or bubbas for that matter can't find em in no cal often. may have to seek out bubba's turkey offering. bubba onion or og flavors go hard with mc cormicks hamburger sazon and tons of veggies. just made a kobe grass fed never frozen; bubba still holds up happy burgerin yall
My favorite part of this video is that it sounds like it was recorded through a bubba burger
It is reduced calories (1260/lb vs 1040/lb) but not by much.
grass fed bubba burger? Yum
You need to review the Sam's Club prime rib burger patties in the meat department.
I don't know, I think the reason to get frozen vs fresh is more of a cost influence than time saving influence. The only time I ever do frozen burgers is if I'm having a cook out and don't want to put in the work to make like 30 burger patties. Especially when everyone is gonna be hammered by the time we eat and not appreciate hand made and seasoned burger patties, lol.
UA-cam just cooking with these channel recommendations
I eat a box of the onion ones weekly. I wanted to like the jalapeno cheddar, but they cooked unevenly using the same method and honestly weren't that great. Plain are fine but I love the onion ones.
Onion one is the only right option. Love it
Great video. However the audio doesn't match up the audio quality of your previous videos.
Before cookouts I literally stand in front of the freezer section for about 40 minutes trying to decide what to pick
You should have reached out to Bubba Burgers to sponsor the video and if they could send you all the above burgers they make. thanks for sharing I'm watching love burgers.
Bro, cook them completely thawed over an open grill flame, not a skillet top. 5 mins each side, watch for flair ups...i.e...put all flair ups out and the bubba Angus beef are the best.
The mushrooms Swiss is my favorite
they make a Monterey jack turkey burger and its pretty good.
"It's easier to find an actual guy named bubba" . Thats funny 😂
as a 17 year old who had to stay home from school cause of vomiting i say this video is great
not a single thought behind those eyes
like the bacon cheddar walmart burgers. saves on bubba burger price. anyway, haven't seen how it ranked if at all but I will be happily occupied watching and writing up your recipes. best,
I'm from Jacksonville, so of course know all about Bubba Burger!
My Bubba bebe! Yeah! Good Burgers! Do they have a hell raiser brand? Yeah! Had problems with those deviled eggs before.
I notice that packaging variety gives off strong Natural American Spirit cigs vibes
I've tried them before, however i love my local burcher who has quality meat for about the same amout.
I haven't the faintest idea of how or why this video was in my recommendeds nor why I spent eleven minutes looking at it, but if I'm being honest, I'm not upset or disappointed. I'll likely never buy Bubba burgers but this was still solid content nevertheless.
Walmart in Honolulu has the original for $14.57 per pack or $7.29/lb. That's about what I pay for: locally sourced, regeneratively raised, grass-finished 80/20 ground beef. So...yeah,...not a thing. The local Target has original and Angus at $17.29 per pack. Even less of a thing.
Walmart California $14.57 for a box of 6 1/3 pound original burgers
Turkey burgers are dry but i think its legit one of the few good ways turkey can taste good
In New Jersey, the bubba burgers are $15 for 2 lbs at ShopRite. I honestly thought they’d be cheaper
Bro i’m really digging your energy on camera. Very fun video solid review
Bro the only thing you need is a better microphone and this shit will be golden. The editing is nice, it grabs the viewers attention (like myself).
I bought these once not knowing what exactly I was buying. They're decent for a frozen patty but far too expensive for the quantity. (In northern california at least)
Kroger, southwest Ohio, Original = $13.99
You should do the sweet onion with bacon on it
I've been wondering about the frozen grass-fed burger patties at Costco/Sams/Etc. Quality, taste, price (compared to Whole Paycheck, butcher box, etc.) and value. Have you done this comparison? Any product reviews?
Quality video, can I suggest upgrading your audio?
you need to try the wagyu that seems so interesting
I had no idea they had that many variants
Serious Randy from trailer park boys vibes 😂
I will say that if you want a spicy jalapeno burger, the Sam's Choice Black Angus Jalapeno burgers from Walmart used to light me up back in the day...those things were VICIOUS sometimes, I swear they had to have been mixing habaneros in just to fuck with people, because there were times that I was halfway through my burger and questioning my life choices...
Bubba burgers are fire
Someone had to do it eventually
I love Bubba burgers. I wish the package was resealable. I remove two and need to get plastic wrap for the remaining.

Instant 👍 from me! 😁
I vote that you find the other three and rate them!
