After 25 years of sitting stationary at the Leyland Motor Works, our 1955 John Fowler Diesel Locomotive has roared back to life! This iconic machine, once used to shuttle flatbeds containing tanks, has been lovingly restored by the dedicated members of the Poulton Wyre Railway Society.
Thanks to the generous donation from Leyland Motor Works, we embarked on this incredible restoration journey, bringing this historic locomotive back to its former glory.
