- I take a look at the new InstaComposer. Will it help my workflow? Does it play well with scaler and reMidi? Update, currently limited to 32 Beats not bars like I state in the video.

For someone who is not terribly gifted in the art of composition, these tools provide me with ideas and starting points from which I can develop, like yourself, an effective workflow for creating music with the amazing sample libraries I have in my collection. Your videos are an excellent source for people like me.
thx David
I output instacomposers 5 tracks to scaler2 this gives me millions of combinations and some very interesting results and all can be midi captured by Scaler.
Interesting thx for sharing that
Amazing possibilities from all this. Thank you.
Thanks for the Tutorial. Seems like a very good plugin. Will certainly check it out.
Instacomposer's AI is my favorite so far out of all the MIDI generators I've tried, and I like that each track can be set to a different "type" as well as a different MIDI channel. There are some features I hope they add, like more scales and modes. I would definitely think dragging chord progressions would be cool too. Thanks for making this video, I like discovering different ways to approach a composition.
Hi Shawn thanks for your comments. People are buying it so they have an interest to keep adding to it.
Another great music tool. Thanks a lot for sharing your workflow.
Hi GoVideos thanks for watching
Cool video. Just got this plugin a day ago. Thanks for sharing!
THANKS FOR THIS WONDERFUL INTRODUCTION TO THIS AWESOME AFFORDABLE COMPOSER. I HAVE SCALER 2 AND HAVE WISHED IT WAS EASIER TO CUSTOMIZE THIS IS JUST WHAT I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR AND NEEDING. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
Hi Roy, Thanks for watching
Thanks for your nice and TOP Tutorials ! ! !👌
RL thx for watching
Great video. You have a nice pace to your teaching style. I don't think I hardly had to rewind even once, even though some of the concepts are a little complicated you shone a light on them perfectly. You've convinced me to invest in the plugin!
Thx Flossie good to have you here
What yet another outstanding video. I have Scaler and reMidi and tomorrow I’ll have InstaComposer. I spent 2 days after watching your last video working on orchestral music. Your video left me with more than countless variations of different compositions. Guess I’ll have to see what I can do with all of new ideas you’ve inspired. Keep em coming….👍🏻
Hey Cycle, glad your watching
Thanks for the run through. Something I see, with all writing tools you will always have to tweak the hell out of the results, as it should be. We shouldn't rely on apps to write for us. It will be the death of culture, which is already instafied to death. But the good thing is they give songwriters new ideas if you feel like you're in a rut.
Thanks for the video, a good midi vst to use with scaler i think..still trying to work through and get the hang of these combinations. Another vst that you should try out is...UNIFY, dont know if you've heard of it.. a real mind blower.A great vst for a series of your tutorials.
Hey man. Another great video.
8:20 I don't find it's an issue not being able to edit scaler expressions because I just record it's midi output into the target track and edit the midi in the daw.
very true. good point
yeah but that's more work for you. this uses AI
They should have got you to do the promotion videos. You've shown just how useful this is. I thought it might have been a nice but slightly B grade edition to my tools, turns out could be one of the most useful.
Yeah its a great way to sketch a quick idea and blast out 10 different versions, then edit in cubase.
If WA could allow chords from your DAW be dropped into InstaComp, the issue would be solved.
Can you try dragging the agent's midi to the DAW and then import it into Composer. Can that help bring stuff from Scaler. Let us know
thanks for a great review/tutorial do you know if you can output the different channels from the InstaComposer to different tracks in Cubase?
Hi Morten, Instacomposers 5 tracks can each be assigned to a different midi channel, but will the output be split into 5 vst instruments I will have to test that idea out.
@@41FingersDid it work?
Hi C.P. Any multimbral vst instrument should be able to play the 5 instacomposer tracks.
Just found your channel. Great work... appreciated. I'm interested in AI.. any thoughts on looking at Captain Plugins or Orb Producer 3 in the future?
I would like to try both of them. Limited time so many plugins. David thanks for watching
@@41Fingers Thanks, just purchased reMIDI so trying to integrate it into FL Studio now... I;ll be watching your videos in detail :)
Thanks for another in depth howto, on the fence with this one. Please consider a modern edm example of how these tools can be used together..
Virtual, your vote for modern edm is noted thx for watching
can it generate variants from an existing song (audio or midi) to create remixes "automatically"; e.g. for live performance during a DJ set?
Hi, I don't think it could do that in a live setup, currently you can only input the chord progression.
Thanks for the video. So, are you happy with it? I am looking it as an ideas for cinematic music. Looks it's good, right?
At 29 dollars its a tool I am happy with and I think it will get better over time
Top Video ;-) would be nice to see how this will works with orchaster complete 2 together ;-)
yeah thats a good idea, should work great
You can’t lock individual notes before regenerating new ones ?
WOW
SOLD!!
oh no...not another one ahhh...catchy name tho....geez I'll have my guitar back please
FYI This for the price and the unison drum monkey for the performance👋🏾
Anything scaler plays you can record to a track in your daw then edit it if you want right in your DAW. Also when you do these videos you should start with a blank canvas so we can see where the notes came from and also play the different examples more as you go along. Just a suggestion
You have 10 measure in InstaComposer but when you DRAG the MIDI you only have 4 measures in the DAW, I am experiencing the same anomalie
Thanks for the nice presentation. I’ve been experimenting with instaComposer for a week now with great, fun results.
In your description at 2:38, you said that it generates up to 32 “bars or measures” of midi. I think you meant to say 32 *beats*, which translates to 8 bars in 4/4 time. Still, this is pretty good, as I can repeatedly drag and drop variations into my DAW to produce the basis of an entire song in just minutes.
My only quibbles so far: 1) The chord progression selector is based on actual pitch notation (C-F-G7-C) rather than by relative intervals (I-IV-V7-I), 2) No “Undo” button, and 3) I had to watch an entire Drum Monkey commercial before watching your post.
This is a great beginning for a new product, and I’m confident that many enhancements will be coming in future updates.
great to hear, thx for watching. You make some good points, and your right about the 32 beats.
Thanks for the vid! Very informative. So… curious about this. You can only work with 8 bars at a time? You can’t produce an entire song’s worth of routable MIDI performances within InstaComposer? It’s great to have all this complementary MIDI in a single environment routed out to various VSTi’s, but it seems like a real limitation and would be an extremely easy thing to add capacity. Otherwise, it’s essentially a multitrack sequencer that loops. MIDI data is so minuscule, should be able to have unlimited bars it seems. Would be a game changer for the way I work.
@@billys5965 I agreed I would like to see them update it in the future to 32 bars or more. thx for watching Billy.
How does Instacompose compare to RapidComposer?
A steal at $29
Instacomposer example starts at 9:00
Should have been titled "trying to get scaler to behave like instacomposer".
Buyers who have to reinstall should be made aware that you only get 3 authorisations, so use them sparingly.
Hi John, thanks for that info
I liked your video on REmidi plus Scaler. but here you certainly used wrong sounds. You should have used general pop sounds - bass, kbd. etc. not an orchestra. It would sound much better.
thanks , its cool but i have too much stuff already
Alert Alert where is 41 fingers….if I was Art Bell I’d go for abduction 🫡
