He performed in my town once on the same bill as Milton Jones. It was a brilliant night of groans!! Also, I've got a British TV show recommendation for you (if you can find it). Its a show called Taskmaster. Every week 5 comedians (or comedy actors in some cases) are set a series of bizarre tasks to complete. It is seriously funny and my favourite show on TV over here right now.
Thank you sooooooooooo much for doing this. Even happier the Queen got some good laughs. & the PERFECT joke for her to break on. That alone had me having to pause I was laughing so hard
The cast joke is basically this - in the UK if you break your arm and get it in a sling while it heals, it's called a "cast" but cast also refers to the cast of a performance ie the actors, so he's suggesting his gay friend was fisting the entire cast of a musical. And there goes all the humour in that joke. Also Joseph and the technicolour dreamcoat is a musical.
I watched both reactions to Gary Delaney, and watching the Queens reaction was priceless. You could see the internal turmoil as she wanted to laugh but another part of her brain said "NO" Queen Boomer should just relax and laugh!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
There are alot of Gary Delaney videos. His ones from Mock The Week are very funny, but from a BBC TV show. His shows onstage are alot more near the knuckle!
Queen Boomer is definitely warming to British humour. Her reaction is what you would like your response to be but unfortunately Brits watching take it as intended (I.e. comedy), however, the Queen trying to work out what it means, gets the understanding before the joke lol. Jimmy Carr explains reactions to his joked very well.
Cheers from London geezer. You and the misses are the dogs bollocks. The same sense of humour as us. Appreciate your stuff. There's a lot more things from over here you will probably like. Keep it up your maj.
Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat is a play in theatres in the UK, the coat looks like a big pride flag and cast is a pun (plaster cast/cast of a show).
"My gay friend recently had his arm in a cast, it was the cast of Joseph and his Technicolor Dreamcoat " - A cast is what you wear when you've broken a limb, and the cast of Joseph is usually mostly gay people. He's insinuating that his friend fisted a bunch of theater actors.
No its Joseph and his Technicolour dream coat. The flag of LGTVOLED+ people resemble those colours. Thats the joke. No one in the story is gay or bi etc.
@@TheOrlandoTrustfull You said that the cast (theatre wise) was full of gay people and that was the joke because of cast of gays vs a cast for your broken arm! Although mind you. It is 2022, I prob think joseph and his 12 brothers were all casted by gay/bi people.
The one liner that made me really lose it went like this, “My girlfriend often smokes after sex, so we’ve started using lubricant”. That was one of Jimmy Carr’s btw.
Gary is one of the very few comics that can laugh at his own jokes and not sound like pretentious tw$t. Absolute brutality at its very best, the UK does it like no one else..
@@christopherbrown4619 You just don't watch it, it really is that simple, offence cannot be given it can only be taken. Gary Delaney did warn you at the beginning and yet you still watched just to be offended, what does that make you? well, I'll refer you back to Mr Delaney for the answer to that.
WHAT? I can’t believe I didn’t know this. I love Sarah Millican, and had no idea these two where married.oh my God can you imagine if these two had kids! They would have to be home school.
Ohh poor queen tried so hard not to laugh, the total horror in her eyes at some of the jokes made me laugh so much even more so when she tried to leave. Well done Queen for sitting through it
Firstly, the queen is looking stunning, as always of course, lol! :) All Hail to the queen, lol! I have to say, seeing her reaction to this one was priceless!, Ahhahahaha! :) It seems you managed to leave her speechless, love it!, lol! Have a fantastic day guys, take care!
Here's a good 10 minutes stand up routine from Live At The Apollo: ua-cam.com/video/U5ZtgdOE_mk/v-deo.html Plus a bonus which is only 2 minutes long, but is quite a legendary joke: ua-cam.com/video/3ny-ZR8QusE/v-deo.html
I don't know how dated this is but when he made the Islamic shampoo joke they called "shoulders" it was also in reference to a very popular dandruff shampoo from the 70's & 80's called "Head & Shoulders"...😅🤣😂
G'day from Australia. Mate you need to see Frankie Boyle "Audience Annihilation". He not only pushes the boundaries; he bulldozers straight through them! Some people struggle with his thick Scottish accent so be warned.
Hi boomers been watching you’re reaction videos to uk comedians, think I watched most of you’re videos last night and subscribed to you’re channel, cracked me up the way you go to bits and leave you’re chair, and get a lot of the English humour , we have some brutal comics here in uk, this one is shot in the hot water comedy club Liverpool we’re I’m from, been to this club a few times, you should check out the host of these nights, his name is Paul smith he’s a local lad but really funny his whole act is annihilating his audience!! Really funny hope you could give it a watch and see what you think
This kind of humour is the antidote for wokism and for people who are easily offended. We have to think if we laugh it is more to do with the play on words, the telling, the timing or possibly the shock value but it isn’t because to laugh means you are a bad person who in anyway agrees with the subject of the joke. It gets you through rough times and relieves pressure of sadness.
Humour (dark, in this case) is a sword, a shield, and a medicine for all of us at different times. As long as comedy doesn't actively attack somebody, it is a vital part of society. And it should be protected vehemently, along with freedom of speech.
The Queen has such a sweet unblemished soul, unlike the rest of us reprobates who lap up the filth!!
Love Gary Delaney, he's fucking brutal. Have seen him twice and he doesn't disappoint
I come back to this from time to time to relive the Queen's reactions.
I must be a sick old bag.....I almost laughed my t**s off.
If you're as old as me, at high school in the 70's these jokes were all told then. They were designed to shock, they were simple called "sick jokes".

'Joseph and the technicolour dreamcoat' to be precise - Gary does sorta laugh the end off sentences sometimes
I thought it was to do with Jason Donovan who was in joseph, it was rumoured he was gay
@@peterfelstead1170 Was he!? What the hell did Mary think about that?
i thought it just meant he was wearing a cast, so he was in a cast, but also he was part of a cast as an actor, so he was in a cast

Nah I think she finds it very awkward and uncomfortable, not her thing

“Iceland, they cut of heads.” Me turning to next person to me. “We do?”
Brilliant, the perfect use of the English language to it's fullest.
Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat is a play in theatres in the UK, the coat looks like a big pride flag and cast is a pun (plaster cast/cast of a show).
Was just going to explain this.
I've seen his stand up a few times, but this time, what made his jokes even funnier, was seeing queen boomers reactions ! Priceless !
Seeing the look of horror on the Queen's face at some of those jokes, especially the chemo kids one.
"Babe, you've gotta keep going. Were only half way through". Yeah I've used that line way too many times lol😂
That over the downs joke is golden 😂

CrazyInWeston: I didn't say anyone in the STORY was gay 😑 The joke is about the word "cast" ffs.

the queen looks amazing as always xo
Priceless reactions from the Queen...external was shock and awe...internal was i shouldnt be laughing at these...but the eyes were giving it away...
I've NEVER been so proud to be English
Our humour is one of the only things I'm proud of 😂
King Boomer "destruction tests" his relationship with Queen Boomer. I bet she sits him down for a serious talk once this is over. I love them both.
Some of these were just… Damn 😂😂😂 got to love our comedians over here. No fu😅😅s given.

Not any more
