Fingermouse was a British TV short back in the 80s... a kids show starring a cardboard cut out mouse on somebody's finger. It was actually really wholesome, making his joke all the better 🤣🇬🇧
Gary is brilliant and criminally under rated ,even here in the UK
Only just discovered him myself as a Brit and kinda remembered him from MTW. He is underrated for sure. He is hilarious.
Totally agree, Frankie Boyle got all the attention while Gary flew under the radar.
Absolutely he is a crude version of Tim Vine.
@@alanrmurphy Frankie was a regular though to be fair
So glad you got round to Gary Delaney ❤️🏴
I would love to see Sarah Millican’s reaction to the lipstick joke… 🤣🤣🤣
Maybe she was in the room when he wrote it.
@@eclectica1Maybe she was trying to put some lippy on.
Love Gary Delaney! Proper savage/brutal, as most of us Brits are in humour... Sick joke of the day; What's brown and floats in the bath?? Whitney Houston's crack pipe
Interesting fact (or maybe not) the stage he's standing on is where the band Queen were formed.
His 'not so offensive' stuff that he does on TV is just as good.
He's mainly one liners. He's married to Sarah Millican another great comedian. He doesn't disappoint. He started off slow but once he gains traction...
Gary Delaney.. About time! Finger Mouse was an old finger puppet from kids tv in the 80's. 👍
I like that you have the sense of humour to appreciate this for what it is. Yes, it’s hard hitting, many of these jokes personally hit close to home fo me. But, I can still laugh without getting triggered.
Finger Mouse was literally a paper finger puppet in a kids show. I was very young but it was kinda cool. I still have no idea what was going on with the story apart from I remember he had a tortoise friend.
I remember the song.
yeah, a great show, it was called 'fingerbobs'. It was a British show, but the presenter was a Canadian. As well as the mouse and tortoise puppets, there were also a bunch of prawns/scampi, and my fave, a seagull 🙂
Finger Mouse, which incidentally sounds like filth nowadays, made Button Moon look like a Hollywood Blockbuster.
I saw him live in Ipswich last night at The Corn Exchange. He was amazing, my jaw was aching within 10 mins. He has hours of material and is such an underrated talent! I can't wait to see him again.
finger mouse , a wee puppet mouse ... on someone's finger ..
He's criminally underrated
Has me laughing my arse off every time. You know humour is going to be DARK when even the guy on stage is warning you.
Hope everyone is keeping well & having a great day
I also sent you a link on Instagram to show you who/what, Finger mouse was. Yes, they did 25 minute episodes of this!!!
I've had the delight of seeing him live and he is one of the one of my favourite comedians I've ever seen
We shall not loose our humour, our comedy! Great vid.
Finger mouse (quite safe to Google) was a kids tv show where a man put his hand (or finger) into the cardboard that looked like it was from the middle of a toilet roll, and it became a mouse.
Also, he is known for JUST doing one liners. An hour of one liners. It's great to see live.
I thought he was called finger bob
@@stephenholberton8381 That rings a bell, but is it my memory, or was he wearing an Andrex roll on his finger with eye painted on?
@@stephenholberton8381 Finger mouse was a spin off show in the 80s
I'm old I remember fingerbobs
@@stephenholberton8381 Fingerbobs was the series. Fingermouse was the main character
Danger mouse, rasta mouse, finger mouse and more, lots of kids shows involving a mouse. Weird
I’m so glad you found him. Been to see him twice live and he had me in tears. Best one liner comedian in the UK!!!
Take a look at Tim Vine - not as shocking as Gary but very funny.
King of Dad Jokes. The So-Bad-It's-Good comedian! Gunslinger was a great show.
Tim vine is shite. He’s only in the business because of his mate Lee Mack. His jokes are pathetic
Tim is pretty good and very fast as well.
Tim Vine is very family friendly - I think Boomer will find him way too tame if he loves Frankie Boyle, Jimmy Carr, Chubby Brown and Gary Delany.
Pen behind the ear
Seen him live a few times he is brilliant and does nearly two hours of one liners
Finger mouse was a children’s puppet show in the 1980s
He is one of my favourites 🤣👍🏻
When Sarah Millican’s doing jokes about her fella - we’ll here he is! What a couple!
Subscribed yesterday loving these .. thanks for the entertainment
My favourite GD one liner is “the young couple that have moved in next door to us have made a sex tape ……… of course they don’t know that, yet!!” 😆
The Hot Water Comedy Club is in Liverpool in England's northwest
Finger Mouse was a really low budget children's TV show in the UK. It was basically just a paper cone made to look like a mouse on the end of someone's finger as a story was narrated around it.
The Hot Water Comedy Club is in Liverpool, UK. He just does One Liners. Frigging hilarious. Check out other stuff he has done from the same comedy club
He's a one lineer comic like Stu Francis. Finger Mouse was a British follow up from 1985 to "Fingerbobs" a 1960's ( hippy era ) childrens TV programme from Canada or USA (I think !!) where the narrator would talk to his puppet "finger mouse" who was a paper mouse that he would place on his index finger like a sock. He would tell it stories and teach it about educational things. It was on UK childrens TV in the 70s.
Love Gary his one liners are the best! His wife Sarah Millican is funny too 👍
I've seen this guy several times. Always hilarious. If I can make a suggestion try out Rhod Gilbert. This is a man with issues
Too tame for Boomer.
Before he got on UK television he did the small comedy club circuit ( I saw him while he was still doing that) and he wrote jokes for other comedians too. Don't know if he still writes for other people or not.
Finger mouse is a finger puppet a old kids tv show in the 80s
You need react to Sara Millican, who is his partner, she talks about Gary.
The Bin Laden joke is my favorite, but you have to know of / remember the David Copperfield magic trick to fully appreciate its brilliance (he famously made the Statue of Liberty disappear in a televised magic show in the 80's)... so it's not as much about shock value as it is a play on frame of reference 🔥
I absolutely love his little laughs he does at his own jokes
Fingermouse was a kids TV show with a finger puppet of a mouse. Great video man...
Love this you will love 90min of Rory Delaney
He's funny af...me and my queen are going to this comedy club in Liverpool tomorrow night. You should check out paul smith..He's the resident compare there and is savage to the audience
Paul Smith is amazing seen him lots of times at hot water comedy club
I know it's good when I hear your chair squeak as you lean back laughing multiple times.
Gary Delaney is one of the best comedians around...🤣🤣🤣
Gary is a one liner. He can do an entire 1 hour of 10 second hits.
Even tho tim vine is cleaner with 1 liners his absolutely brilliant.
His wife Sarah millican is brilliant as well 😂
What I love is how sick the jokes are that make you crack up. 🤣😂🤣
I saw Gary perform live last October - great show
He does 'clean' sets of one liners for TV !..... also check out his wife, Sarah Millican, probably UK's top female stand up
love him.very underrated
"Fingermouse," was a children's show where a puppet is put on a guys finger and you had a children's show called "fingermouse."
Finger mouse was a 70s puppy show where the mouse and other characters were put over tge finger to make it move... like sock puppets
Actually Finger mouse is the 80s you're thinking of Fingerbobs in the 70s
@@Yetiyogyog OK
He's a regular on Mock The Week, which is worth reacting to in itself 😄
His partnerSarah Millican is an exceptional comedian.
Finger mouse was a little finger puppet made of paper which a middle aged man called Rick with a beard used to pop on his finger and tell stories on 70’s uk children’s programme . Probably on UA-cam
The queen has to watch this
His ruthless one liners is also great. His live at the Appollo is good to but a bit more TV friendly
Hot Water comedy club is in Liverpool! A great little place with some of the best comedians around
Fingerbobs was a British kids 70's show & one of the characters was fingermouse
Finger Mouse was basically a paper mouse on the Storyteller's finger
Gary doesn't do normal stand-up, just one-liners. His wife, Sarah Millican does normal stand-up and she's pretty damned filthy sometimes!! You'll enjoy it!
Fingermouse was an early 70s British kids' show featuring a finger-puppet mouse...
Gary is strictly a one liner comedian
Hot Water comedy club is here in Liverpool, England! Great place to go 😊

finger mouse was a childs TV show in UK ..i loved it
Finger mouse was a finger puppet, one of several animal finger puppets in the children's TV show Fingerbobs from the 70's.
Finger mouse was a British children's television programme created by Michael Cole for the BBC in 1985. It was basically a simple puppet that looked like a mouse and was placed over the persons finger to make it move.
One of my favourite comedians. 👍
Wow, I found out from the comments that Sarah Millican is his wife! She is a top comedian as she is funny as hell. The Hot Water Club I have been to a few times is one of the funniest places in the world for comedy. I didn't see Paul Smith because it was a Christmas do and we missed the first part due to our late meals; they extended the first part so we could finish the meal. I was a bit saddened to not see the warm-up guys (mainly Paul Smith). I didn't see Gary, maybe he is in Manchester if there is another club there. You can easily walk past the Liverpool one, and the stairs are almost vertical. I seem to remember them having uni-sex toilets, and the blokes urinals having more women walking past them and giggling than blokes being there; or maybe I was pissed at that point! I'll also add this: The place is small, and the comedian could easily see everyone and throw a shoe at you if they wanted. You cannot hide from them and you are right up there with them! It was great.
Fantastic!
Finger Mouse was a very old Kids program back in the 70’s. It was just a creepy guy with a grey Beard, with paper Origami style “Mice”, on his fingers. He would tell and Narrate stories with these “Mice” on his fingers, hence “Finger Mouse”.
I love how you get our humour 🥰🤣
Loving your T-shirt
It was a finger puppet from a kids TV show in the 1970s
I've been to see him three times he is very good 👍
Hot Water Comedy Club is in Liverpool in UK. They have a UA-cam channel that you may enjoy 😁
You should react to A compilation of Sean Lock, of the the UK’s best comedians.
Had the joy of seeing him live a couple of times. He does a short 15 minutes after the support comedian and before the interval. He then rearranges his material to suit the audience
Oh, and he’s married to Sarah Millican
Finger mouse is a hand puppet of sorts that fit over a finger.
Very funny !
The Hot water Comedy Club is in Liverpool, UK
It's worth you tube searching 'Gary Delaney Mock the Week' there's loads of funny comedy reels of him on there.
His main comedy is one liners.
Hope that helps you in your quest for more GD
Recommend his wife (with queen boomer) - Sarah Millican. Excellent.
Love your local standup!
Gary is one of my favourites, along with chubby brown, carl pilkington, lee Evans and American james Gregory.
Hot water comedy club is in Liverpool check out Paul Smith who regularly performs there
Fingermouse was a puppet made from a roll of paper on the end of someones finger
As far as I know this is all he does. He'll appear on stand up shows and just tell jokes like this.
Fingermouse was a kids show in the 70s .it was a finger puppet crudely shaped as a mouse. Entertainment was simple back then. 😂✌️♥️🇬🇧
its all he ever does one liners, brilliant
Finger Mouse was a UK kids puppet program in the 70's. The host created lots of different characters with his hands and Finger mouse was one of them
hot water comedy club is in Liverpool UK, its an excellent venue for comedy
The pedophiles joke is an absolute classic. Pitch black comedy at its best. And that's not even Gary's darkest joke. 😄
He is curently on tour in the Uk
There is another video along the similar theme of this one, it his sexual oneliners and its hilarious as well!
The Hot Water Comedy club is in Liverpool, they have loads of videos on YT, the compare for the shows, Paul Smith is absolutely funny AF! Although you may struggle a wee bit with his Scouse accent
finger mouse was a programe with a man who made paper mouse and it sat on his finger and did stories very popular early 70s
There are some UA-cam videos of his appearances on a TV show called Mock The Week.
He's a one line specialist id say. He was known here in the uk mainly for his appearances on comedy quiz/ panel shows like mock the week. I've not seen him on mainstream tv for a while now.
Don't know what happened to him tbh, I always liked him.
I'm seeing him in Worcester on 24th July. He's awesome. His live at the apollo is tame but there's a few older clips around. He's great on mock the week.
Hot Water Comedy Club is in Liverpool UK.
Fingermouse was a short-lived poor kids tv show form the 70's/80'sin the uk and it consisted of putting whiskas and ears on someones finger.......i wish to fuck i was making that up.
I've only ever seen him on a show called Mock the Week, which was mild compared to this 😂
Finger mouse was on a TV show called Fingerbobs , it was creepy then and would be really creepy now.!
Finger mouse was a kids show featuring finger puppets, one of which was a mouse lol, I believe he’s married to Sarah Millican
