@@Captain-Awesome I’d buy the same truck again. I’m pleased ever time I drive it. I’ve had one camera issue but they fixed it quickly, zero issues since. Did You put 37s on?
@ I haven’t put 37’s on but likely will once these wear out. The only choice I wish you and I had with these trucks was the limited trim as a Tremor, it wasn’t an option. Although I did not care for the Blue with the limited, the 2025 Platinum plus is supposed to have a color called truffle that has the diamond pattern seats that I think are amazing. Although that pattern may just hold in a bunch of debris in the cracks of the pattern. Here are two questions for you: 1. When you have it in tow haul mode and you are using Apple CarPlay to route with a map, do you also lose all of the diesel and general information pages? Mine goes totally blank, all other pages act as normal. If I switch out of tow haul mode and back to normal mode, then both pages come on just as normal. Obviously just a software issue. It seems that other people have had it as well. 2. On the driver and passenger windows when traveling down the highway at 80-90 and the wind is blowing 10-20mph driving into the wind. I get a rattle that comes from the felt on the vertical part of driver and passenger window. Both are not something I wanted to take it in for yet because it’s not that annoying but just thought I’d check and see if those two things are happening on your truck.
We are in the same boat on the limited tremor but like you, the tremor was more important than the limited. I’ve got a whole video on the truffle interior in 2025 truck if you haven’t seen it. I’m sure we would spec one out pretty much the same way. I can’t say that I’ve noticed either of those issues but honestly, I don’t pay attention too much even when I’m towing I just Kinda strap stuff down and send it. I’ll do my best to check on those as soon as possible. Do you have your truck set up to where it automatically will update over your Wi-Fi. Mine has updated several times since I got it if not, you might wanna do that could fix your issue without having to go to the dealer.
@ Yes we probably would spec them out exactly the same but that will have to wait, this is going to be the truck I stick with for the next four years maybe five. I do have the over the air updates set up. We have a Brinkley Z3610 5th wheel 42’ long and 18k pounds loaded up for a trip. The RV was one of the main reasons for the truck over the Raptor I had before. It’s those long trips when using the Apple Maps and trying to use the diesel pages that it’s a nuisance. I almost went with a F450 but I like car washes 😎
Had you gotten a chance to use a gps ( on a straight flat stretch of highway ) to see how far out your speedometer is off ?. The interesting part about putting larger tires on without re-calibrating, yes the distance shown is less than it actually went ( which you realize ) and as well the actual speed your travelling is faster than what you think and that part certainly detracts from fuel mileage due to even more wind resistance, and added speeding tickets !. Had you talked to a shop to see how much it would take to re-calibrate the system ?. Never the less for driving that fast with that large a rig, that isn't bad at all !
