We live in a small bus full time also. Been 2 years seeing this country and love it. We have a scooter trike on a deck on back of our bus. Our bus has everything we own. We sold our home that was paid off and all our stuff! We don't miss the "stuff" we have 6 solar panels also.

I love the design and the wood choice. It's very cozy feeling. You could of added a shower toilet and a closet area if you minimized your kitchen area, but amazing work!
On our travels met a couple in northern Cali with a large school bus that has the top part of a vw van attached to the roof that has a guest loft and a deck on the roof. Purple painted feather on the side. Hope you run into them on your travels. We enjoyed talking to them
Great video. If you have time and $ have a welding shop put a 3 or 4 inch lift in your scooter carrier stinger, the part that fits into your hitch. You’ll be able to get good clearance and not worry about scraping. Have fun guys, live your dream.

It happens with us southerners sometimes. Normally you can't tell where I'm from but once in a while the Florida man pops out. Sometimes on purpose, but not always.
Fantastic! I have to admit I'm a little jealous of the videos that have family who are super talented in the trades...great build. I personally would have to have some kind of privacy wall or curtain for the toilet area but we all have our own little quirks when building. It works for you guys and that's what it's all about, right? Safe and happy travels to you both.

that compartment over the driver seat is a good place to hide valuables and a hidden camera for anyone lurking around your mobile house. Disguised with a picture no one would know and it's perfectly facing the biggest entry...ijs
For about $20 or less, you can pick up a hitch adapter which locks in like a regular hitch and will raise or lower the hitch 6-8 inches. It is S shape and if you put the high end in the hitch, it lowers the hitch and if you put the low end in it will raise the hitch. Same effect if you put it in upside down. There is no right or wrong, just put it like you need it. Anyway, worth considering to raise the clearance on the scooter. The higher you raise it, the longer the adapter but I have only seen 2 choices thus far.
We've got a 4" hitch riser already on the bus that isn't mentioned bought through Home Depot online. Could look into a larger one in the future, though it still has pretty low clearance with it, just have to be a bit careful.
I absolutely love this bus. Great job. I'd love to see your vegetarian/vegan cooking videos. Hard to find but finally found one. Any more are so welcome. Enjoy the road... I subscribed. Lynn

That made me giggle too, but then I realized that many healthy people (plant based/Veg) use their 'medicine cabinets' for toothpaste, soap, etc... because they don't really use medicine. Their healthy. It's a new world... Surprise, but we're really getting healthier.
Great Bus. We are getting the same comments on our shuttle bus conversion about having a toilet near our food. UGH! I keep saying, "No one has been injured yet or "we also run with scissors". Love Love some of your brilliant ideas like the chillounger/table. Also love the the laptop table slide above the bed. GREAT JOB to all of you (Jim especially :-). Great video. We are fortunate enough to use our parent's address while on the road full-time. Typically, we dispose of our trash at gas stations, wal-marts, or wherever there's a trash can, rest stops and parks. Most of the time we attempt to keep the bag not so full, so we can easily fit it in the can. Other times we remove the top and put our trash bag in... We stayed at a Wal-Mart lot the other day that had recycling, so we were able to recycle our cans. Though the downsize of bus life is recycling isn't always an option, unless you're willing to go way out of your way..
