the faucet ( UK tap ) in the sink being able to swivel out of the window and become a shower , amazing . also amazing , your parents contribution , graet interior .
I love your bus home, the look is NOT cluttered, it looks clean! So many other bus/van conversions and tiny homes look so tacky and cluttered but conversions like yours actually makes one think that life in a small space is actually livable in a positive sense! 👍
I really like this one! A short bus with all that you need that's if they have A/C or fans for that heat. The little bathroom is great it would be a must for me too. The blue/turquoise is pretty with the white.. clean and bright.. it seems like they have everything they need with utilizing that little space to a T. Super cute!
@Catherine Buck haha! Not sure about the song but I agree about the shower. Close your eyes and the movie psycho comes to my mind lol For a small bus its super efficient I actually would consider one like this, I would never go larger but that's me.
@Catherine Buck Not sure, but maybe those are part of the lyrics for: 🎶I always feel like, somebody's watching me! Oh oh-oh! ........ Or maybe showers remind me of Psycho too much!...🎶😁
This is one of the prettiest and most practical builds you have shown. The dock cleats make perfect drawer and door pulls. I absolutely love the little drummer sculpture.
@@StuTheBus SAFETY ALERT! Hi! Did u see comment re the NOISE SWITCH? A bus driver says they are mandated to stop at train tracks, flip that switch so everything goes off, open driver window & the door to listen for a train before proceedingbcs it's hard to hear from inside the bus. I think you should look into it. 🔹 BEAUTIFUL BUS! Great use of space. Nice separate bathroom [ would be Wet Room for me, no sliding toilet😁] I love your personalities as you did the tour. May the Lord surround you with His Angels wherever you go! Safe Travels. God Bless!
One of the things I so love about these transformations of space is how much the young couple's Mom's and Dad's contribute! Shout out to the awesome Moms and Dads!
Love the serendipitous shower! The bungie and cleat cupboard closures are awesome. , Looks like most of your dishes are Corel, those are the best choice for traveling. They are light weight and super tough to break and you get to eat from real plates. It's very pleasant to hear you giving kudos and gratitude to those who helped with the build. Nice video, I placed it in my playlist so I can refer to it when I do my build. Thanks for a great video! I wish you well!
I love watching the innovative ideas so many folks come up with but you two are the best. Most of your concepts are in line with "KISS" Keep it simple stupid. So much better in the long run. Your roof deck I would incorporate on the conversion of mine for sure. It is awesome and has so many uses as you described. Your bus is just the right size and length. I was riveted to our video from start to finish. Bruce Matthews
Meant to mention this the other day but you really need to get a cover for your spare tire or when you need it most you will find the the sun has eaten it alive! Another thing is you can look at some boats to see how they incorporate a shower/toilet area. Outstanding job on the conversion.
@@StuTheBus Guys, Bud was just trying to be helpful. He even complimented you on your build. You may be fine now, but don't underestimate the sun's power. Hope you don't have to learn the hard way...
I’m still on the outside looking in for van life, but I love that there are larger fridge/freezers like the one you have. All the other ones I have seen have been so small that there is no way they would suit my needs. I really like your layout, but I really like my showers, so I would need that in the mix. Wishing you all the very best travels and that Stu behaves himself on the road.
“Stu” is also for STUPENDOUS! This is the best build ever! Love everything about it...the hatch to the second floor (roof) is genius! ...portal to more living space! The two doors at the back and side must be awesome for airflow too. Safe and happy travels to you! 🇨🇦😎❤️
1:35 that is super clever. I have dogs and will have to do that for an outdoor rinse for them The exterior paint is a super nice color. Never thought about a deck either. Super clever
Stu reminds me of the tent in Harry Potter where the size looks small on the outside, but when you enter you are welcomed with much more space than anticipated. This was clearly a labor of love with the help you received from mom and dad. You did great on your layout. WTG... Cheers 😊
Please consider adopting a rescue... cat, dog, other.... you are both so amazing you ought share yourselves with an animal companion that needs a home. 💖&🌄 xo
I love the tour! Not that I don't want to point out all the great features, but I got really excited when I saw the *mini drums* by the dashboard. Love Stu and this chill couple. Also, wonderful they have great family support. Keep on Truckin'.
We have a 2004 power stroke 6.0 pickup. We didn’t know about all the negative hype either. It has 126 K, it runs strong, no problems but we can’t sell it , crazy. I love your bus, you have done an excellent job.
Lindy Lindy - Being jelly (jealous) is an emotion that eats away at the soul and causes bad karma. Instead become proactive towards reaching your personal goal.
If more power they could install a very small ac above the fridge. Or have a couple of fans in the ceiling installed to circulate air and put up screens.
The yellow active noise button is for when school buses have to stop at railroad tracks. It makes it so that it mutes all noise in the bus; like it stops the radio and the fans and everything so that you can listen for train horns.
I love their layout and they’re thinking when they designed this bus. I especially like just the toilet room, they gave up the shower which would’ve taken more room but they have the nice toilet room which I think is very smart. Hope you’re still having fun out there.🙏🏻🙏🏻
Great Bus! Nice exterior and interior colors. Go Chevrolet and GMC! 405,000 miles and No Drivetrain Problems! Biggest fix was rusted brake lines and one wheel bearing. I'm going to put up a roof rack with a black rubber water bag for warm water showering. A galvanized water trough in the corner with a shower curtain ring and a hand held shower head and you are in business. The freezer was a good idea which I will use! I'm going to install a fold down rear deck with an awning.
Sounds good! I saw a build with a fold down rear deck, plus a solid fold-up rear awning, same size, "stacked" together when closed. Opened the awning first, then could fold down the deck (using a cheap Harbor Freight electric winch for the deck, with some steel cables w/ turnbuckles to get it square and solid). With optional bug netting they had a nice deck/porch out back.
Great idea for the shower so you don’t have to use the water heater. But for colder weather I would make it so it could switch to the water from the water heater. First time I have heard of that. 💚
U guys are so cool & your living in a very cool bus. That kitchen faucet is awesome! It’s on my wish list now. Luv the turquoise & white colors. I have the same sml chest freezer & they do hold a lot. I use it as an xtra freezer but I’ve seen other schoolies that use em as a fridge
Really, really nice build. I like the colors. Great storage under the bed. “Awesome mileage for a house.”👍 One note: they really need to cover the spare tire or it will rot quickly.
Yup, sun and heat will dry out the rubber and crack it....when you go to put it on you risk a very quick blowout. I learned to even cover the sides of my trailer tires when parked in CA
Very nice build, clean looking cabinets. Love the cool colors for summer both inside and the soft green exterior. Having a deck is so useful! Love the internal hatch, very cool! I would build a box for bikes and tires to prevent sun damage, esp in AZ. Its brutal and your tire will crack. Try VHB sticky tape on your velcro. Holds up well on the wood side. From what I know so far, and I may be limited in my knowledge, "Isolator turned on" is not an accurate phrase. An isolator is a one way current path from one battery to another. You meant the 2nd alternator turned on, or the generator turned on. Typically, an isolator charges engine battery from house battery back up in case the engine battery is drained. Seldom the other way around. Usually the batteries are different types with the house battery being Lead Acid/AGM Deep Cycle and the Engine battery being Lead Acid/AGM High Cold Cranking power. Both can work off each other, but you never want to drain engine battery to refill a house battery. Get a small generator and free yourself from turning on vehicle engine. Always good to have a generator as backup to solar.
This is the first review I have seen where you have given due credit to family for help with doing the build. Well done.
Barry Brockbank aw thanks. We definitely couldn’t have done it without them!
Outside shower 😮 I love it

To prevent mold, lift it off the frame once a week. Or paint the inside frame with mold resistant paint. Works just as well.
Love the color skeem, stoo is so cute...
Aww thanks!

I like the turquoise color theme.
Love the shower idea is great. Keep moving enjoy life.

Yes please I appreciate that toilet section.

Cool van, nice conversion. The cupboard doors would look nice painted white inside. Mom and Dad made a nice job, big up!

Lovely, one of the best! And a bathroom!
did i miss the bath? I only saw a toilet
Heidi C. Franks didn’t want to and don’t need it but feel free to build your own shower.
I loved ever little thing. I wish you guys zillions miles to come. Regards from Brazil 🇧🇷
Thank you!
Those boat cleat for handle with the bungee are GENIUS !.......love your build !
A little squirt after you're done. Lol. You guys are awesome, as is Stu.

Wow super nice my wife & I loves the inside colors
I love when he said such is life
Love the outside shower idea simplicity is key.
This is one of my two favorites. The other was a full size schooling’s with similar colors. Sweet!
I’ve been considering to buy a mini bus! After watching this video! I am sold!
so beautiful! I love that there is so much color and not just all white!
This is so simple and perfect 👌🏻 the color choice makes it look sooo much bigger then it is. I would definitely live in here.
Really nice! Love the tank top, adventure then cocktails!
It's the perfect combo!
I love the colors 😍
I love the colors, Beautifully designed. 👍👍👍

Thats my favorite color... Thats so unique and gorgeous
Love the colors and the layout well done
Perfect build.and presentation....and truly clever design...love...the 2 doors exterior.getting mine bus...next year..hoo hooo!
Thanks, and good luck with your build!
Great job! My personal concern would be Air conditioner for extreme heat. A must for this Texas lady!
Look into the white fiberglass Shuttle buses. They have heat and air-conditioning and sell for $5,000 and up.
I lived in Houston for 3 years, I needed A/C and three showers a day! Plus a shotgun for the mosquitoes.
If more power they could install a very small ac above the fridge. Or have a couple of fans in the ceiling installed to circulate air and put up screens.
Love the camo paint color, sprayed with cans. Black trim. So appealing
