Harry is a lovely man. He dearly loved his wife Millie and you can tell he misses her so much. His neighbors are angels for postponing their anniversary holiday to be with him and all the looking after him they do ❤
And it makes it so hard when they pass away in your left behind. I had my soulmate for one week shy of 31 years marriage and life just isn’t the same. Doesn’t even come close.
I’ve never seen anybody break their ankle though. I used to rollerskate for 30 years 40 years and I’ve seen a broken nose but that’s about it. When I was a teen learning how to backwards skate and do smother maneuvers. My knees were the ones that got it all the time And now I think I’m paying the price for it at 62 years old, but I’m going to try rollerskating again because I miss it and I think if you watch yourself you should be OK. I saw a 93 year-old rollerskating and I saw a 82 year-old rollerskating so I feel if they can do it I can do it with my experience. And not having any alcohol in the system really helps in saving your bones because I believe this young man was tipsy and if he wasn’t, I apologize, but that’s what I thought I heard. 🛼🛼🛼🛼🛼🛼
@@lindawitherspoon446That was my first impression but when you watch later, you will understand why Peter is the way he is. He has an incredible aversion to the hospital probably due to his wife being in the hospital … he is still sad & missing his wife………he also told Brian how much he appreciates his stepson’s help.
I think Christine is not only a kind nurse, she’s a very compassionate woman. That is a great quality. I appreciate her. Harry needed it. Him and that other gentleman that also lost his wife need the help to fill a void. Thank goodness for the people that stepped up to care for them.
Christine what a lovely nurse you are, the older ones can handle the pain a lot better then a lot of the younger ones like Emma. I wish all a full recovery. Harry you're my man and Peter did so well with his pain.
Emma you are brave. I understand your back pain. Dr is right I constantly tighten up I have to always remind myself to stop. Pray you can remember this. Bless you and yours. Love your love story Harry. I’m so happy you were not injured bad. You dr and nurses are wonderful
That was a very touching episode with those lovely elderly gentlemen who had both lost their wifes that they had loved so dearly. I'm glad both of them have someone who looks after them, one the wonderful neighbours and the other one the caring stepson. All the best for everyone, the patients and their families! ❤
Peter, I understand how terribly hard & painful it is to lose the love of your life. I’m glad you have your son as I have mine. I don’t know what I’d do without my son keeping an eye on me.
I think Kieran got lucky with just a small break. I fracture my ankle on both sides. I have metal plates, screws, bone graft (to replace parts of my shattered outer ankle bone), a steel rod in my tibia, and surgery to repair my Achilles tendon. It took 5 hrs to repair everything. The icing on the cake is, I broke it on Friday 13th. Now I can't enjoy watching my favorite movies. I can't look at Kane Hodder the way I used to. BUMMER!!!
39:50 This nurse is amazing. The issue (USA) with respecting nurses, is the disgusting things unnecessary things (SOME) nurses do to patients... It doesn't have to be major... it could be simple as listening to the patient If they say something hurts even if it doesn't make sense medical wise, they are trying to explain a feeling. And it could be the issue of treating male and female patients the same, such as care, modesty, and give basic human dignity. Example how the female patients room is closed all drapes pulled shut to do a sponge bath or Urinary cath... But the male patients room is wide open drapes wide open, people walking by could see it all (not that they were looking) having an audience while having a sponge bath or having a urinary cath placed.... The more each patient has to deal with it, the more "cranky" they get.... Patients are NOT always innocent, pervs hitting on nurses, yelling hitting etc... It is disgusting behavior and should NOT be tolerated at any time. EVERYONE should have a SAFE work environment, as much as the job can give (cops do not get a safe environment which can never provide 100% safety obviously)
I don’t think it’s a sexist thing. I’m female and I’ve had some really immodest exposures in hospital. One time I was in an OR with my feet up in stirrups and facing the door so everyone walking past could see straight up my vagina. Another time i was in post-op and started bleeding from my IV site while dressing so the nurse pulled back the curtains and I was standing there topless in full view of the staff and other patients in the room plus everyone walking down the public hallway. Never made me cranky though, it’s just the way things are when you’re in hospital and they’re doing their best.
@@andrewoats I am so sorry you had to go through that... Disgusting behavior like that should NEVER happen. Personally the "men don't care about modesty" have led to confrontation that didn't end well to the point I refuse female providers, I just cannot put myself in that situation again. People think I am nuts or extreme in what I will not consent too.. But EVERY human being has boundaries and many like me is more extreme to those that have minimal... I had a patient that was (from what she said) an "Adult Film Actress" that was crazy... extremely limited boundaries... Each person is different and has different needs, no matter what they are, every patient deserves basic human dignity... In your case they should have closed the door at minimum and should have you covered while waiting.
UK and USA has a common problem.. To much junk food and eating it close to daily makes you gain weight. Unless there is a medisine history she should stop eating junkfood. She is only 23, wow
I’ve worked in Emergency services for 30 years. I’ve also worked for nutritionists. Junk food can be a problem, but it you do the research, they’re finding genetics and your gut biome have a LOT more to do with your propensity to gain weight. Many medications will impact your appetite as well. Count yourself fortunate if you’ve never had to deal with extra weight.

Peter is precious. He cracked me up leaving the hospital trying to get out.😂 Tim and Allison are heaven sent for taking care of Harry.😊
Poor Harry made me cry. Thank God he has such wonderful, caring neighbors. ❤
It's so sweet that Harry's neighbors have adopted him and watch out for him.
I felt that was the sweetest thing that a neighbour could do is just always check in on an elderly neighbour that lives alone.
Harry is wonderful, and he has kind and caring neighbors. Blessings on all of them!

I broke my arm at 49 roller skating.
I was trying impress my grand kids. All the medical staff were just as amused as these ladies.

So Emma was texting and probably speeding and rear ended someone so hard she knocked them into two other cars in front of the car she hit. Brilliant.
I think if you’re the cause of the accident because you were texting, then you should lose your license for 6-12 months.
