The two ladies sitting chatting were so lovely! Thoroughly enjoyed them both ❤❤❤
Edgar’s doctor was beautifully compassionate, listening carefully, understanding Edgar’s feelings and arranging for care.
Yes, sensitive, caring and timely
I absolutely loved Edgar and the doctor was so gentle and kind to him.
Cannot agree more. Beautiful to see
High praise for the doctor who took his time working with the asthma patient who had recently lost his wife! ❤❤
He did a wonderful job with him .The man broke my heart his wife died no friends 😢Oh my sending you hugs Sir ❤
Edgar broke my heart. He had the most wonderful doctor. Who took the time to listen. ❤️
Lovely Edgar had me in tears, and Irena had me in fits of giggles. What an eisode! Say what you like, but the hardworking folks of the NHS are brilliant.
I cried alot for Edgar, such a lovely soul he is. His doctor was so compassionate and fantastic.
I want to reach through the screen to him. Both of them.
There’s a lady who would love to be his companion/friend. Never give up. ❤
My heart goes out to Edgar. I know these videos are 10-12 years old, but I wish so often that we could reach out and comfort some of these people, patients and staff.
So do I.
I loved those two older ladies sitting in the waiting room. The one on the right has some great jokes that have me a true giggle!
The two elderly Ladies are so sweet, ❤
If I'm ever in the hospital, I want a doctor like Edgar had. What a wonderful caring person.
Those two elderly ladies were lovely, cracking each other up ❤
That gentleman, Thomas, definitely made this episode very easy on the eyes! 😁👍🏼🇨🇦
Blessings on all those in this video, wherever they may be, and a huge thanks to those who work every day to keep us all alive and functioning. I'm a teacher, and when I was hospitalized for a serious allergic reaction, those amazing nurses would say, "Oh, I don't know how you do that job!" And I said teaching teenagers seemed so easy to me, but if I were a nurse I'd probably end up shouting at people. Thank heavens there are skilled, compassionate medical personnel who look after us.
The Registrar, Des, what a great guy! His compassion for his patient and going the extra mile for him is wonderful.
Oh Edgar, i just want to give him a hug and pop over for a cuppa and chat everyday ❤
I love Hilton. He is precious. I'm sure he has wonderful stories to tell.
He was cute! Also farted 😂 And I'm no grown up when it comes to farts
I have been laying in bed the last week sick, watching everyone of these shows! Sitting in tears for Edgar. The compassion they show is just so refreshing. I have spent a lot of times at the hospital in the states and these caregivers are blowing me away!
Edgar is such a sweetheart. ❤
Wish I could give Edgar a big hug. Sadly, every country that has seniors that are lonely. We aren’t meant to be alone in this world.
I was in a German hospital a month ago. Not one smile or kind word. These nurses are so kind!
Yes, I understand this so well, it makes one feel like it would have been better not to call the ambulance 😢
big big hug to Edgar ❤️ Irene and the hat woman are lovely 🌹
The two ladies sitting in the waiting area...and one telling jokes was so cute.
Such empty and warmth comes the British. Just amazing! Thanks from USA.
Empathy?
You could make a whole video of the 2 wonderful ladies in the waiting room😂❤
Wonderful caring loving truly compassionate human being doctor that took care of Edgar ❤️❤️
Oh I love this program. The humane approach to story telling is very inspiring to me. ❤❤❤😢❤❤❤
Yay for new episodes and such moving stories of care and consideration for others! ❤
Would love to have Edgar's address so I could write to him. Such a sweet sweet man. ❤
Edgar just won over my heart! What a precious man. He reminds me so much of a sweet dear man I went to church with who passed away 3 years ago. He and his wife were the epitome of a perfect marriage. I pray Edgar finds the peace he needs and his dear wife would want him to have until they meet again❤❤
I was in need of a new episode! Thank you!! 🎉❤
Unfortunately, in the States, doctors have the compassion but not the time to listen to their patients. Our profit-based medical industry simply won't allow for more than the bare minimum of contact. I understand the NHS is overstretched, but the system still looks at patients as people not profit.
I hope Edgar found a way to fill his life again.
Blessed be
You are so right.I think some Dr in the US don't care 😢
And hundred dollar Tylenol, ambulance cost is enough to bankrupt you.
We desperately need national health care in the US.
Please people in the U.S., demand socialized medicine!
This show was filmed in 2012,the NHS is in horrible shape now and socialized medicine isn't as great as you think. Americans fail to grasp that the whole UK is so much smaller than the US and the US has a much bigger population, if you look at Canada, they have socialized medicine and it's in a horrible state of affairs at the moment as well.
This is a great TV show I love to watch
To see Des the doctor looking after Edgar he looked at the whole patient which was wonderful and very special more so in an ER department, i hope he never changes. As a retired nurse with 50 years experience it brought a tear to my eye.
Great episode love this show please keep them coming
I loved seeing the little lady in the 🤠 hat, she looked so cute!!
The elderly woman in the red hat looks like she could be Miss Marple. 😁
The depth of the staff's compassion got to me in this episode ❤❤😢
I absolutely loved this episode, it was so heart warming and heartbreaking at the same time. 😢💖🌹
I hate Hospitals. Unfortunately I have to go in a lot due to Nerve Damage in neck and Lower lumbar. I was in a bad car crash just as I was about to buckle up so went to the Hospital and 25 years later, I am paying for it. I also have other very painful illnesses and mental, too. I wake each day grateful to be alive. The constant pain is a tradeoff, and then I would rather pain than cancer.
Edgars doctor is truly amazing ❤
It’s so very sad that he is alone. My heart aches for you.
I love the two ladies, this getting old bit is for the birds 🐦
Edgar has such a beautiful soul. I would love to take him in my arms and just hug him tight
What a wonderful show!
If I ever fall sick,I hope it happens in London!!! Staff ist so wounderful there!!❤
Thomas mining can be just as dangerous Irena you go girl Edgar your such an loving man hang in there sweetie you’ll do just fine
I cried everyday for four years after my husband died and still cried on and off and it has been five and a half years. Never heard of broken heart syndrome.
The stories some of the patients tell is always so interesting.
Wonderful as usual
Sweet sweet Edgar Bless you 🥲🫶🏻
Very nice! ❤
Oh Edgar. Bless u. N bless the doctor !!!
Edgar you have my love ❤
I hope I can remember some of Irene's jokes!---Edgar, ah bless him. ---Mining? Hmm.
Oh Edgar, my heart 😢❤
That’s a great dr! Edgar dr! He understands age
The British Raj lady would make a great Miss Marple.
Edgar is a gentle soul ❤
Edgar breaks my heart.
Hilton!! Bless!❤
Brazil 🇧🇷
Thomas I'm sure most people would have been afraid
He had such beautiful eyes...
Getting old and losing your other half after all the years has to be hard and sad.
I can’t understand why people are hesitant to stay in hospital after having trauma to their head
Edgar ❤ 🙏
Hilton❤️
Who stinks that is what the elderly man was saying.I could not understand him US here sorry😊
